We waited and we waited ... a week ago it was announced on the internet that a 'killer storm' was on its way to New Zealand. Landfall occurred over last Monday --- heavy rain in Hawkes Bay. There was some further heavy rain around Auckland. But then nothing. Now Sydney bears the brunt of another heavy spate of rain. But nothing happened in New Zealand.
