More witnesses have cast doubt on the alibi of Madeleine McCann suspect Robert Murat. Portuguese locals this week claimed they saw a man of his description near the four-year-old’s room the night she was snatched in Praia da Luz. Estate agent Murat, 33, insists he was at his mum’s on May 3 and was unaware Madeleine was missing until morning. But late night calls to a friend that night raised suspicions. Now at least half a dozen people have been re-interviewed.

Wrong choice to believe these statements. Someone appears to be behind these 'locals' to come forward with these statements.
Speculating ... attuning this post into that of a 'conspiracy theory' ... the only way someone can successfully frame Robert Murat ... is if that someone already knows where Maddy is .... and they wish to use Murat as a patsy in a cover story to hide the trail of where Maddy truly is ... and where she has been. This innocent man may in truth have a chequered history ... but in reality it does not link to the disappearance of Maddy. If he is charged and 'a case ' is brought before us regarding his involvement ... it is a fabrication.

A police source said: “On Monday and Tuesday a number of witnesses were questioned. They claim they saw a man matching Murat’s description outside the Ocean Club. As a result of this we’ll question Mr Murat again this week.”
