It is a psychological technique perhaps for us to automatically think the worst. Clever use of semantics to keep 'the Maddy has been abducted by a sicko' story alive without actually saying it. Someone here behind this new's story is very clever ... and knows how to affect the subconscious of the readers. I am dismissive of the story ... 'occult' powers (a power concealed or hidden) will only work on those who are unaware that a power is being exerted. I am therefore not concerned by anything implied by this new's story. For me it is yet another smokescreen ... to conceal the true picture ... one which is a long way away from this holographic illusion. This story is part of 'a mirrored wall' designed I feel to bounce back our own emotive reactions upon us ...
