Wrong identity ... Maddie's 'double' Sjanneke who was seen in a cafe
The Sun Headline; says: This is the angelic tot mistaken for missing Madeleine McCann. A woman called cops after she saw blonde Sjanneke Hofstede, aged four, acting oddly in a Belgian cafe with a man and woman two weeks ago. DNA was taken from a drink bottle and straw after the sighting at the cafe in Tongeren, but it belonged to the man, Sjanneke’s dad Ed. A source said: “The woman thought the little girl was acting strangely — it turns out she was playing up as her dad had taken her to meet his new girlfriend.”
Pinch of salt time once more ... there's no way anyone who is aware of Madeleine's story and has seen any of the publicity photographs of Madeleine would mistake this little girl as being the missing girl. The resemblance is not even close. And yes ... whilst on the subject, what became of the 'false plates'?
Will those who hold Madeleine please return her now. Her re-emergence is now a week or two overdue. What is your reason this time for keeping her in your midst? It is time for the world to learn she is indeed safe and well. Time to let the current macabre fade into insignificance.
