The Foreign Office is advising Britons against all non-essential travel to Jamaica as Dean looks set to be upgraded to a category five storm - the highest level. It has already killed three people and islands in the region have been lashed by 120mph winds.Winds of 150mph are expected when it passes Jamaica on Sunday - where emergency plans are being put into place - and heads towards Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula. It is then expected to pass through the Gulf of Mexico, where 4,000 oil and gas platforms are located.

Shuttle Home Early Over Hurricane Fears
Sky News Headline; says: 'Nasa has ordered the space shuttle Endeavour back to Earth a day early because of fears that Hurricane Dean might disrupt flight operations. The shuttle is now due to leave the international space station on Sunday, with a landing set for Tuesday.
