(Another) Sad Face!
Son #1 is now back in the Land Of The Long White Cloud ... down in the dumps on e-mail. He'd spent the last three weeks with us ... we barely saw him! He was spending most of the time with his Aussie mates who lived about 35 minutes away from us. Boozy nights out; games of Poker; a visit to State Of Origin rugby .... he had a whale of a time. But sadly, it came to an end for him today. He's currently suffering a reality shock back in New Zealand ... back then as the poverty stricken student. However, he has it in mind to move over here now as soon as possible! He is due to return in four months for a holiday ... but he's already talking about taking his gap year and living over here with us! That gives us four months to convince our nice kind bank manager to grant us a mighty loan to cover Son #1's large palate of food and alcohol! It was all tears this morning when he said goodbye to me at 6.30am in the morning. Then more tears and a sad face when he said goodbye to Kristine at Sydney airport at 12.45pm. Poor Son #1 .... having to be back in New Zealand!
