A closer look at the 'white' area in today's 'image of the day'. Only because it's my personal 'gripe' ... this looks suspiciously like running water. If this was a photograph obtained from Google Earth, there would be no problem accepting this was the image of running water (there is a triangular plume towards the right of the image together with other tell tale signatures of running water over rocks) ... but because its from an image on Google Mars, we've got the official storyline of 'no water' on Mars to contend with ... plus the countless thousands of sceptics out there. The official storyline has been fed into the logical, everyday imaging part of our brain, which makes anything outside of 'the conditioning' set by this brainwashing hard to swallow. The non-logical side of my brain has no problem observing an image containing water and processing the information. It is water ... but it can't be!Tuesday 2 February 2010
