Language Of Light

There is something about a labyrinth that beckons you to walk its intricate pattern to the core and back. Likewise, it's difficult not to be fascinated by light dancing through a crystal or awed by the sight of the ancient pyramids. What draws us to all of these is the energy of sacred geometry. An ancient science, a sacred language, the Science of Sacred Geometry has sometimes been called the Language of Light for its ability to balance and inform.

The geometrical patterns, designs, and structures found in nature, from atoms to DNA, offer a key to understanding the way the universe is designed. Sacred Geometry has been studied since ancient times throughout the world. The geometrical archetypes are symbolic of the principal of oneness. This principal of interconnectedness, inseparability, and union are a reminder of our relationship to the whole. Geometric patterns are familiar to us on a metaphysical level because our own human bodies developed with a common geometric progression from one to two to four to eight primal cells and beyond. This repeating pattern is found in all of life, as we know it, from the most minuscule particle to the greater cosmos. We are constructed of, and influenced by, geometry. It is no wonder we are drawn to such patterns. When we recognize these geometric archetypes and their relationship to the underlying structure of the universe, we see that there is no separation. We are physically and spiritually one.

Neither a math or art background is required to explore Sacred Geometry. Simply tracing your finger along a geometric print, or meditating on a medicine wheel will help you begin to understand the symbolic language. In constructing a mandala, you are connecting to universal patterns that are a part of you. Ironically, the Science of Sacred Geometry not only reveals the secrets of the universe to you, but it also reveals your secret self to you.
