Goals

Daily Om: Our desires act as fuel, propelling us toward new horizons. Without something to strive for, we stagnate and become stuck in ruts of our own making because we are unsure of what to do next. Goals are the dreams that we are willing to work for. When we set goals, we take responsibility for our lives and choose to wholeheartedly devote ourselves to our aspirations. Even if we only take the smallest steps toward achieving our ambitions, it is vital that we actively pursue our goals rather than just daydreaming about them. Having goals makes us feel good because it adds a sense of purpose and direction to our lives.

When you endeavor to achieve clear and quantifiable goals, your choices and actions take on new significance. Consciously creating your goals can help ensure that the success you seek is attainable and serves you. Your plan must be conceivable, tangible, and measurable. If you cannot visualize your goal in great detail or believe that you can realize them, you may find it difficult to commit to your goals and take the necessary steps to achieve them...read more>>>...

In Touch with True Emotions

Daily OM: So often, emotions that we long to express get stored in our bodies instead. The space where this most often happens is in our bellies. Rather than telling people, our even ourselves, the way we truly feel, we may stuff our true feelings deep inside of us, where they take up space until we are ready to let them go. Stuffing our feelings in our bellies may feel like the "safe" response, since we then don't really have to deal with our emotions. Yet, doing so can actually be detrimental to our emotional well-being and physical health.

One way to connect with and release your emotions is to do a focused exercise with your stomach area. Take a moment to center yourself with some deep breathing and quiet meditation, relaxing your body fully and turning off the chatter in your brain...read more>>>...

Lake Burley Griffin, Canberra
Lake Burley Griffin is an artificial lake in the centre of Canberra, the capital of Australia. It was completed in 1963 after the Molonglo River—which ran between the city centre and Parliamentary Triangle—was dammed. It is named after Walter Burley Griffin, the American architect who won the competition to design the city of Canberra.

The lake is an ornamental body with a length of 11 kilometres (6.8 mi); at its widest, it measures 1.2 kilometres (0.75 mi). It has an average depth of 4 metres (13 ft) and a maximum depth of about 18 metres (59 ft) near the Scrivener Dam. Its flow is regulated by the 33-metre-tall (108 ft) Scrivener Dam, designed to handle floods that occur once in 5,000 years. In times of drought, water levels can be maintained through the release of water from Googong Dam, located on an upstream tributary of the Molonglo River. (Wikipedia)

Bus driver films triangle UFO over Exmouth, UK

The witness is a bus driver and was outside on a break at 9:41 p.m. on April 17, 2017, when the incident occurred.

"I was taking to my best man about my upcoming wedding on the phone," the witness stated."I would normally be in our restroom, but since the clock in the restroom was fast (about 7 minutes fast) I had gone out early to wait while still chatting to my friend. While I was talking, I was just kind of walking about near the leisure center, where my bus stops, when I looked randomly over in the direction of the river, which is when I saw the three lights in a triangle pattern rotating on its axis and wobbling slightly."

The witness instantly felt that the object was not normal.

"I have been interested in the subject of UFOs since I was about 10. I told my mate I'd ring him back and started filming the lights with my phone. Due to the street lights my camera was having a hard time focusing on the formation, so I moved closer to the river to get a better view - in some haste since I still had to drive a bus which was going to be there at any moment."
The witness then shot a 2-min, 40-second video. The witness then took 7 photos and another 41 seconds of video.

"It's at this point I really had to go back to the bus stop to get my bus. As I walked over, four people got out of a car in the car park and I pointed out the lights to them - to which they showed a bit of interest, but not much."

The bus arrived at 10:02 p.m.

"I showed the lights to my co-worker who tried to think of any reason they might be something other than a UFO - drone, laser pointers, etc. He went to cash-in and finish and I had to drive as I was now 7 minutes late. I drove to the turn-around point and back in about 8 mins and the lights were gone by the time I got back down to town - and could not see them on the way down as I had a good view over the area due to the road I was driving."

Being Projected Upon

Daily OM: We all have issues, as well as undesirable qualities or traits that we don't like about ourselves. Most of us realize that we are not perfect and that it is natural to have unpleasant thoughts, motivations, desires, or feelings. However, when a person does not acknowledge these, they may ascribe those characteristics to someone else, deeming other people instead as angry, jealous, or insecure. In psychological terms, such blaming and fault finding is called projection.

When we are the target of projections, it can be confusing and frustrating, not to mention maddening, particularly when we know that we are not the cause of another person's distress. Even people who are well aware of their issues may find that sensitive subjects can bring up unexpected projections..read more>>>...

Taking Things Personally

Daily Om: Every time you interact with others, you have the choice to listen to, acknowledge, and let go of their words, or you can take what they are saying personally. Taking things personally is often the result of perceiving a person's actions or words as an affront or slight. In order to take something personally, you must read negative intent in an individual's words or actions. But what people do and say has no bearing upon you and is usually based on their own experiences, emotions, and perceptions. If you attempt to take what they do or say personally, you may end up feeling hurt without reason. If you are tempted to take a comment or action personally, creating some distance between yourself and the other person can help you. Try to determine what is at the root of your feelings....read more>>>...

Retreat

Daily OM: Occasionally, we need to pause - and step away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. One way to do this is to get away from our daily life and go on retreat. Far more than a vacation, a retreat offers us time to ourselves to rest, heal, reflect, and renew our spirit. It is a time to cocoon so that we may emerge renewed, refreshed, and ready to return to our everyday lives with a new perspective. A retreat gives us time for uninterrupted meditation so that we may go deep within and spend time with ourselves.

A retreat may offer quiet, solitude, and sometimes even silence. Retreats often take place in humble dwellings with simple fare so that our senses may be reawakened to the beauty of unadorned tastes and the sights and sounds of nature...read more>>>...

“Environmentalists” have been fooled: The very molecule they’ve declared war on is the same molecule necessary to re-green the entire planet

Natural News: Carbon dioxide has been vilified as the harbinger of climate change for years now, but it seems that this belief may have been misguided. Indeed, carbon dioxide may be what saves the planet as opposed to what destroys it. The media has done a brilliant job of putting carbon dioxide (CO2) at the forefront of the climate change debate, but scientists are beginning to speak up and present evidence to the contrary.

“Far from being a ‘pollutant,’ carbon dioxide is the ‘Miracle Molecule of Life’ for re-greening the planet through reforestation. This essential molecule supports the entire web of life on our planet, and without it, all plants, animals and humans would die,” Mike Adams, the Health Ranger writes. Recently, Adams created an educational video to explain why CO2 is not, in fact, a pollutant — and rather an essential nutrient that plant life needs in order to flourish...read more>>>...

Life Can Be Scary

Daily OM: Life can take us on a roller coaster ride full of highs and lows and twists and turns. Even for those of us who enjoy unexpected thrills, it's frightening to suddenly find ourselves heading for a deep plunge. Yet, it happens to all of us. At these moments, it is important to remember that you are not alone in your experiences. No matter how brave, strong, or levelheaded we are, sometimes, we all get scared.

Our fears may revolve around our physical safety, particularly if we are not feeling well, living under difficult circumstances, or doing work that exposes us to hazardous conditions....read more>>>...

Get Out of Your Own Way

Daily Om: When you find yourself facing obstacles that appear to be blocking you from your goals, it is important to try not to get discouraged. It can be easy to feel "stuck" or that "life" is creating circumstances preventing you from getting what you want. And while it is easy to look at everyone and everything outside of ourselves for the problem, perhaps even wanting to "get rid" of the person, object, or circumstance we may feel is blocking us, sometimes the best course of action to take may be to look inside ourselves first.

It is amazing how often we can get in our own way without even being aware that we are doing so. Even though we truly want to succeed, there are many reasons why we may sometimes block our own efforts...read more>>>...

Martian Deceptions

The four images above have all been captured from Google Earth - Mars ... and are full of artefacts that raise the question of the deception we are been sold about what is really on Mars ....

Twiddle Twaddle Deception

It was billed as a brilliant night of 'trance mediumship'. What was seen was a night of twiddle twaddle deception that a small audience of partisan 'believer's' fell for!

Its always been a disputed bone of contention, in our opinion, when a 'medium' claims to go into trance, and then starts talking in an 'foreign accent' then pretends that the spirit coming through them is a typical Native American (Unless you have Indigenous American blood they will not come to you!) It was a very poor rendition of trance mediumship, in truth. Its even worse when this so called dead person was claimed to come through at will! Again, that is NOT how it works.

The entire spectacle was outrageous and downright embarrassing, especially when the partisan audience really believed their comrade was channelling the dead spirit of a Native American.

We've seen the real thing a few times in the 1980's and this did not have any of the telltale signs that indicate something truly supernatural was taking place.

What was witnessed in this instance was a theatrical deception that was crazy and annoyingly outrageous. Those in the audience who really did believe the lies before them need their head examining if they really think this is how it works!!!

Mind Stretching

Daily OM: Flexibility is the capacity to bend without breaking, as well as a continual willingness to change or be changed in order to accommodate new circumstances. People with flexible minds are open to shifting their course when necessary or useful; they are not overly attached to things going the way they had planned. This enables them to take advantage of opportunities that a more rigid person would miss out on. It can also make life a lot more fun. When we are flexible, we allow for situations we could not have planned, and so the world continues to surprise and delight us.

Since reality is in a constant state of flux, it doesn't make sense to be rigid or to cling to any one idea of what is happening or what is going to happen....read more>>>...

Do parallel universes exist? Gravitational waves could be the key to discovering an extra dimension

Daily Mail: The existence of parallel universes has long been one of the biggest mysteries of the universe. Now, scientists believe they have found a way to some day detect hidden dimensions. Physicists think that unknown dimensions could cause ripples through reality by modifying gravitational waves - changes in the space-time fabric. And since gravity is likely to occupy all dimensions that exist, its waves are a promising way to detect unknown dimensions...read more>>>....
