FREE TO WANDER ?

Dare ye be the fly and commence a pointless trek?
A venture along fibres of a semantic web once more
Along verses of seeming worthless verse
To witness illusion perchance?
Enchanting tales of Utopia await ye perhaps
Or be that merely the bait to ensnare ye again?

My bubbling potions of prophetic insights once more return
This time, maybe, more convincing than before
I've grown in stature, my illusions more pronounced
My ability to ensnare, to captivate, stronger
And I, the spider, casts webs of deceit, maybe
Tales that ye, the fly, need to digest.

So fly along poetic fibres, and feel free to wander,
A maze once more, with truth alive within its bounds somewhere
“’Know a storyline is lost here somewhere
“’A lonely wanderer for you, the fly, to find - “’but where?“’

And then when it's too late and you foolishly try to retrace steps
You will find that you too are lost, once more.

You'll then realise there is another chapter for you to explore
I have ye again!
Through the pages ye journey seeking the exit once more
What be it then I try to impress on your soul?
Will my confusion mystify ye?

’Fly are ye captivated?
“’Do you stand poised, waiting for the kill?

Ready for me to strike,
But what if I ne'er shall
What then - will ye wander around then for eternity?

Toward another chapter perhaps?
More bubbling potions
More scant, insane notions to digest
What then is the theme I explore?
Tell me fly, for ye shall know the pages better than I.
