Karma Rebounds

Temple ruins adorn a craggy coastline
Deities forgotten; worshipped in another time
I once stood there and gazed seaward
I cried to the heavens "why?"
A place of peace tainted with desolation
Its sacred ground abused
I failed to understand the intention of our brothers
I could only watch as the sky whipped up a mighty storm
Tears fell as I realised the evil had to be re-paid
Our time was nearly over; the sea would soon claim back the land
T`was then I made the vow; I would return
When conditions were identical I would fall
I knew too I would not be alone
Factions of black would follow white; terror would manifest again
Of the temple there is now no sight
My favourite place destroyed by the redeeming sea
The land which was once my home sunk without trace
It happened now long ago; a fable in the hearts of current man
But not to I and those who returned like I
Our former home was real; conditions have been met
Serious times approach; karma rebounds
The universal law decrees recompense
It comes again; I feel the sorrow build like then
I stand alone; those around me fail to understand
This time I venture without the elders or my brothers
I am lonely; I seek others of the light
I avoid those of the darkness for they will ensnare me
For the black energy is always stronger than the white
I hide; I wait
I am ridiculed
I stand accused of not being serious in life
My crime is too much seriousness
Being aware of things I should not be
But I cannot forget what took place back then
I am afraid of what will take place so soon; again
