A good friend of mine, who sadly left the material world over 15 years ago, would often send a telepathic message ‘24062 – It’s Peter calling’ prior to ringing me up on the phone. Moments later the phone would ring; I would answer with ‘Hi Peter, how’s things?’ or ‘Hi, what’s up?’. It would always be my good friend on the phone!
Two nights ago, I received the familiar telepathic mantra ‘24062 – it’s Peter Calling’ over and over in my head. However, as the sceptic would predict there was no follow up phone call. Well, not immediately anyway!
I received the telepathic message around 9.45pm at night. By bed time I’d forgotten the significance. At 3.05 am we were woken from our deep slumber with an insistent phone ringing! In a daze I found the phone and answered it. There was only a mechanical beeping like an engaged tone to greet my ears.
I put the phone down and snuggled back into my disturbed bed.
It was the very next morning that we realised that it was more than likely Peter making the phone call he’d let me know the night before he was making. If I’d answered the phone at the first ring maybe I’d have heard his voice?
I guess we will never know, unless he tried again
