What's In A Voice

By Philip Sterling

The Human Voice is the most powerful method of expression that we have. Every voice is unique and can indicate our emotional and physical state.

What we say and how we say it, from the words that we choose to the tone of our voice, may reveal our own inner being.

A balanced voice attracts and holds the attention of the listener, whereas an unbalanced voice may be misinterpreted or misunderstood.

Bringing balance back into the voice can enhance our ability to communicate effectively, thus feeling more comfortable with ourselves and hence with others.

Why do we like certain types of music? The colours that we are attracted to? The people that we enjoy being with? The answer is ENERGY! The balance of energy within ourselves is reflected in our voice.

We know that sound and colour have a very positive effect on our mood which then directly affects the body's own biochemistry.

It has been proven that a negative emotional state can weaken the immune system. Through Sound Therapy we can elevate mood thus strengthening the immune system.
