In Those Days

In those days I would captivate an audience with my 'mediumship'. Proof of life after death. Picking on 'victims' this reluctant medium would proceed with a link from another dimension and provide snippets of personal information which I couldn't possibly know.

I was genuine. I respected the art but was never happy with my gift.

I always warned my audiences that I would be 'blunt' and say it how it was including the swearing if there was any. I proceeded then to off load all the telepathic information which a dimensional source had given to me.

I learnt over the years to 'filter' the information - putting brain into gear before using my mouth - because often the information was not really for public ears.

'I have your grandfather talking to me. He called a spade a spade'; I began once somewhere in the North of England; 'he tells me to ask you about David.'

'Which David? There are two' was the nervous reply.

'The older one.' I replied.

'But he's married.'

'That has never stopped you before.' Was my roof lifting reply.
