Having just received this week's traffic statistics from Sitemeter ... I would not have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. The traffic counts for both Thursday 24th & Friday 25th May 2007 have been CUT to zero on both days. Yet ... I know myself there was a healthy traffic on both these days ...traffic on Wednesday 23rd has been reported as a reduced figure too ...
My traffic statistics have been tampered with ... ridiculous as it might seem ... they've been chopped .... on these days I know for a fact there was in excess of 2500 visiting the site ... not the 0 which someone has decided is more appropriate to be reported.
Why? Why would someone do this (I have a good idea why) .... this is not the first time this has happened either. I've been keeping a track of the traffic recorded on a daily basis, separate to Sitemeter since the last time my traffic figures were cut down .... so I know some sinister scissors have been at work!
