No collection of 'healing crystals' is complete without a wand or fragment of Amethyst. A variety of quartz with a unique & distinctive appearance. Amethyst is also a unique individual too ... coming across as the most wise of the quartz varieties in connection with healing. I can best describe the vibrations of Amethyst are subtle and focussed. A crystal for meditation, healing and grounding. It appears to have a high vibrational signature; an energy which I find to be ideal as a jump start for psychic awareness. It appears to work best like a 'battery' --- storing excesses of my own kundalini flames until those vibrations are needed at a later date. Amethyst, from personal experience, is the best of the quartz varieties for 'programming for a specific task'.
