Madeleine’s parents, Kate and Gerry, put on a united front walking hand in hand through the holiday resort. The couple were together as they took their two-year-old twins, Sean and Amelie, to a creche at the Ocean Club resort where Madeleine was snatched from her bed on May 3. Earlier, relatives had quashed speculation that their relationship had come under pressure since the kidnapping. One report claimed the couple’s focus was heading off in separate directions. But Madeleine’s grandmother, Eileen McCann, 67, said: “I know a lot of people split up in situations like theirs, but no way.“Gerry adores Kate, and she adores him. They were very much in love before, and they still are. I can see in their manner towards each other that it’s still there.
