Druid's Temple

This is a small double concentric ring of stones set in an attractive location overlooking the sands and Morecambe Bay in the distance. The stones are almost white limestone. The outer ring is of about 20 small and low stones almost hidden in places by the bracken and is about 85 feet across with the inner ring at about 27 feet with taller stones.

The tallest is about 4 feet high. This taller stone stands in the southwest of the circle in line with the midwinter sunset.
