Those visions haunt me
At the back of my eyes
Views of an inner realm,
Perhaps another life,
Events occurring in parallel,
As I wander the mundane
And deal with the mortally insane
Who wander the path made by their lives
None the wiser ...
Unaware of their responsibility
The scenery they wander ... which they scorn
It is their thinking which dictates what is before them ....
I am lucky, perhaps even gifted
For I am able to straddle two worlds
A walker in two simultaneously
And when I close my eyes
Draw a series of deep, refreshing breaths
I depart this mortal plane
And enter with full feelings the other realm
Returning refreshed back into this fray.
Grateful for the interlude ...
For this world is in a sorry mess
Too many mortal refuse to take responsibility
They decry the mess they witness
Without realising it is their stray thinking that has created the mess.
Giving their minds away
Giving their thoughts away
Living lives dictated by others
Their freewill the prisoner locked in chains
Their fears the gaoler
Their shadows the force which creates the dissarray
Their seperate selfish selves the walkers in this realm
Their true selves locked so far away ....
Their ignorance having thrown away the key.
