A Stranger But No Threat

A presence lurks but is too insubstantial for the necromancer to deduce
At his peril ignorance cannot be extended by his station
For he cannot identify the perfumes of the air ...
A recognised tap on his arm gives assurance
The presence is ally; a stranger but no threat
A light flicker to his left acknowledges the stranger
Permitting the energy to enter his safe domain...
