There was a good discussion with a respected medium, and close friend, tonight about the state of the New Age Industry at the moment. All the five minute wonders out there who have their egos out of control, and in the driving seat. Claiming to be things which they clearly are not ... and giving the genuine ones a bad name.
'The problem is ... if we don't say anything about it, then the public think we are like them, and are accepting of it. And, if we say something, we are seen to be bitching about others and therefore jealous. It is a no win situation'. I could only shake my head in agreement, it is so true. The industry is ruined by false ego ...we should all be unified in our task - to offer honest guidance to the needing, and to prove (Give ABSOLUTE validation of life after death ... this is not the guesswork messages that so many THINK is mediumship). Instead the general public are being RIPPED OFF by these charlatans who ruin it all for the genuines. The genuine medium is generally humble, ego balanced, caring, loving ... and an easy target for these charlatans to backstab. We have both seen it go on ... are victims of it. Indeed I spoke with TWO other genuine mediums yesterday at a Psychic Expo, who are being backstabbed by the SAME charalatan. That is THREE genuine souls who are being attacked for being the genuine article ... and offering true guidance and absolute validation to people. Because this exposes the other as a fraud ... they are stood on and attacked. This is going on in an industry that SHOULD be unified ... but it is ... like most places in the world at the moment ... under a hateful attack to ensure its parts are kept seperate and therefore a toothless force. It is working ... and the charlatans are the ambassadors of a dark force hellbent on keeping us all powerless by divide and rule.
This is my 2nd Gripe Of The Day in a week ... but after hearing the hellish things going on at the moment ... I have to say these things. Closer to home for me ... a 'trainee' driven crazily by an out of control ego is pushing me to a point of real disgust.
'Forgive them they know not what they do' springs to mind ... but this example is madness personified. I am astonished at the display from this soul ... but not surprised. I've witnessed ego madness many times before. I feel terribly sorry for the members of the public who are the victims in all of this ... they part with hard earned money to be fooled by these charlatans. I also feel upset for the industry in general with these so called 'mediums' who are self professed 'charioteers' of the industry. So called leaders and experts. Believe me ... they know not what they do or say. They are not what they claim and they do not do what they profess to do! They are in the land of illusion, totally believing they can do these things ... but it is their path. I merely observe their madness and step aside when the next barrage of toy bullets fly towards me ... MJ
