Introducing The Ogham & The Tree Oracle

The Ogham is a unique ancient bardic alphabet used for magic, divination, secret communication, and on memorial stones.

It is of purely Celtic origin, and unlike most other alphabets, the Ogham does not have separate characters but has instead sets of five letters represented by one, two, three, four and five lines above, below or bisecting a base line known as a ‘druim’.

To the Celts language was a powerful thing not only in terms of common communication, but also for magical purposes too. In the Ogham, each letter has its own power and all words beginning with the same letter were magically linked; so each letter has a corresponding tree, bird, colour and a whole plethora of meanings that been lost over time.
