The Distorted Mirror Of Self

The spiritual higher self demands that the human lower self looks at others as a mirror of its own self. Others that interact with the lower self are therefore 'the mirror of self'.

Thus, any weaknesses or distortions witnessed by the lower self in 'the mirror of self' are in truth indications of distortions which exist within the lower self, imperfections that prevent the lower self becoming the higher self once more.

The spiritual higher self exerts the need for the lower self to overcome the distractions created by the separate selfish self; to negotiate the weaknesses shown by 'the mirror of self'; accepting that what the lower self is what is happening within. To embrace that which is seen within that mirror ... to overcome the test of the distorted mirror of self.

Those that chastise, criticise, abuse, ridicule, institutionalise, murder and torture others due to what they see in the 'mirror of self' are in denial of the true nature of themselves and thus unable to connect with their spiritual higher self - MATTHEW JAMES
