Red Wattlebird (Anthochaera Carunculata)

Today's Image of the Day was always going to be the first Bird Totem sighted on this morning's walk. It may be Xmas Day over here (Happy Yuletide everyone) but this didn't stop the 'out in nature' wander. Its a fairly cool 28 degrees Celsius today, which was welcomed today.

So the Red Wattlebird is today's Image of the Day ...
