The Age Of Aquarius - A New People, A New Consciousness, A New Era?

New Dawn Magazine: The transition to a new zodiacal age is altering the political map of the world. For the last two thousand years much of human history has been determined by events in Europe and the near Middle East. From Greece and Rome, the great power centres of two millennia ago, with their inheritance from ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia, a distinct civilisational impulse spread westward into Europe, eventually reaching North America. Decisions made in the grand capitals of Europe and, for much of the last century in New York and Washington, have impacted the lives of millions of people in every part of the planet.

The advent of the Age of Aquarius coincides with the emergence of new world power centres. Just as old Egypt, Babylon and Sumeria were eclipsed by Greece and Rome, so too the ‘old world’ of Western Europe and North America will be overtaken by new geopolitical alliances and fresh centres of global influence. And this will be accompanied by a dramatic change in consciousness, as the worn-out Western values and Eurocentric rationalist thought prevailing for the last few centuries surrender to the new Aquarian thinking...read more>>>...

Actions Speak Louder than Words

Daily Om: Words carry a lot of weight in this world, from how we say them to what we say with them, but it is through our actions that we bring things into being. This is what we mean when we say to one another that actions speak louder than words. In many cases, what we say doesn't necessarily line up with what we are doing, and it is here that it becomes clear that it's easier to talk about doing something than it is to actually do something.

At the same time, it's easy to keep doing something that we don't necessarily acknowledge ourselves doing verbally. It's good for all of us to take a look every once and a while to make sure there is alignment between what we say and what we do.

For example, it's easy to talk about our dreams, but it takes a lot more energy to take the many small steps that lead to bringing our dreams into reality. If all we ever do is talk about it, we begin to lose faith in ourselves because nothing changes on the external level...read more>>>...

It’s not climate change: Black carbon dust is corroding snowpacks, causing them to melt early

Natural News: Climate change alarmists are always finding “evidence” to support their theories, but many of these phenomena can actually be attributed to other causes. One of the signs of climate change that they like to cite is earlier snowmelt, but a group of NASA scientists believe that climate change is being given too much credit for diminishing mountain snowpacks.

That’s because particulate matter actually plays a very big role in corroding mountain snowpacks everywhere. According to Tom Painter of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, snow that contains light-absorbing particles like soot and dust has a lower reflectivity, or albedo. Snow with a high albedo can reflect 90 percent or more of earthbound solar energy into the atmosphere, but the dusty low-albedo variety is responsible for causing snowpacks to melt two months early...read more>>>...

Seeing Ourselves

Daily OM: Many of us do not take the time to notice and acknowledge how beautiful we are as humans. We may be great lovers of beauty, seeing it in the people, places, and things around us, while completely missing it in ourselves. Some of us feel that it is vain to consider our appearance too much, or we may find that when we look at ourselves, all we see are imperfections.

Often we come to the mirror with expectations and preconceived notions about beauty that blind us from seeing ourselves clearly. As a result, we miss the beauty that is closest to us, the beauty we are. Sometimes we see our beauty in a shallow way, noticing how well we are conforming to social norms, but failing to see the deeper beauty that shines out from within and that will continue to shine regardless of how we measure up to society's ideal.

If we can cut through all these obstacles and simply appreciate how beautiful we are, we free up so much energy. We also become less dependent upon the opinions and feedback of others since we become our own greatest admirers....read more>>>...

Have You Seen The Future?

Waking Times: We have all come across claims, past and present, in which someone states that they have ‘seen the future’. Some of these claims make good reading/listening, even if they are predominantly apocalyptic in nature.

Nostradamus is perhaps the most famous amongst such seers, and no doubt he really did visit recent events on this planet during his lifetime in 16th century Europe. His foretelling of the destruction of the twin towers (9/11) was a particularly chilling example.

Some predictions carry with them a certain cache. Those who are being told the scenario often fall silent, lean forwards and widen their eyes. A fair number take the proclamations seriously, and then tell their own versions of stories that made an impression on them.

Thus, a wide range of projected pictures of the future – typically of the country one lives in – are on display at any one time. So one can pick and choose or simply reject them all.

But what exactly is going on here?

To make any sense of this, one needs to explore the practice behind what we call ‘the predictive’ and what we call ‘free will’. The predictive involves following the sequences involved in the playing-out of major life events largely outside our control. Free will believes that the future is infinitely changeable, having the potential to be shaped by us, and tied to a vision of where we want to go...read more>>>...

Bear Medicine

Daily OM: When the image of a bear enters our consciousness, we may first notice their size, strength, and power, but beyond their physical attributes lay many traits that can guide us deeper into our experience of life. Their abilities as hunters and powerful protectors of their loved ones are well known, but you may also envision them on a quest for variety as they seek out the flavors and scents of the world, first fishing, then enjoying berries, or braving angry bees to indulge in honey.

But their hidden strength lies in the bear's ability to travel between the physical and spiritual worlds, a talent that is recognized all around the world by those who live in harmony with nature.

One way that bears access their inner world is during hibernation when they find a safe and womblike environment to let their physical bodies rest while their spirit travels. They travel through time, mentally digesting and learning from their experiences, but they also travel beyond the realm of mind and body into the dreamtime, where they are able to be rejuvenated by the source of all life...read more>>>...

In Order For New Growth To Begin ....

It's only ever been meant to be the recording of a personal journey; a personal research into the paranormal and its effect on the psyche of a developing soul. It was never meant to be a show case of an elevated ego, trying to impress its identity, or its know how on others, in order to increase its popularity and create a showcase for adoration and congratulations. Thus, its satisfying to keep this journey a personal one, and not been followed by a myriad of adorning fans.

Because a true apparent spiritual exploration is not like that, not like that at all. It is a personal thing. It is a lonely thing. It is the realisation of the developing soul that they agreed to this apparent life and this apparent scenario of being separated and alone. It is the choosing to leave the real world. and the real universe, with a real purpose and a real identity, to then be electronically transported into this computerised copy made by an awareness craving the adoration of being a 'creator'. Within this cruel and sadistic copy world. the developing soul is forced to live in separation and learn to recognise its higher aeon spirit. It learns to reject the aspirations of the elevated ego that is copied from the cruel demiurge, the creator of this fake copy world. That false veil must be discarded to become itself once more.

Following the conformity of the recognised assumed metaphysical sciences leads only to a elevated ego and defeat. To heavy loss, because the only realisation to reach is that all those popularised theories and techniques are false. Are as false as the assumed world which surrounds everyone who partakes in this copy reality. It is only when popularity is rejected and seclusion is once more adopted ... that the new growth begins.

Anxiety about Change

Daily OM: When we find ourselves going through any kind of change in our lives, our natural response may be to tense up on the physical, mental, or emotional level. We may not even notice that we have braced ourselves against a shift until we recognize the anxiety, mood swings, or general worried feeling toward the unknown that usually results.

There are positive ways to move through change without pushing it away, however, or attempting to deny that it is happening. Since change will occur in almost every aspect of our lives, we can learn to make our response to it an affirmative one of anticipation, welcoming the new while releasing the past with grace.

One thing we can do is change our perspective by changing the labels we use to identify our feelings. We can reinterpret feelings of anxiety as the anxious butterflies that come with eager expectation. With this shift, we begin to look for the good that is on its way to us...read more>>>...

Live or Let Die: Do We Want A Transhuman Future?

New Dawn Magazine: Here’s an interesting surmise for us all. Could it be that the alien phenomenon witnessed by so many reliable observers is the product of a technology developed at other locations in the universe and created by civilisations only a few small steps ahead of what we ourselves are now heading for?

Could it be that the Grey entities reported in abduction scenarios are artificially intelligent probes sent to harvest information and gather resources by their creators who may themselves no longer be around to reap the benefits of their creation?

Further, could it be that such artificial intelligence quite incidentally became a danger to naturally living intelligent life through its quest to relentlessly expand the horizons of its information.

First, recent evidence suggests that the existence of alien life forms in the universe is now beyond reasonable dispute. In January 2012 a report was published in Nature suggesting that around 10 billion stars out of the 100 billion that fill the Milky Way have planets in the habitable – or ‘Goldilocks’ – zone.1

Professor Stephen Hawking and Professor Michio Kaku had already stated their opinion that alien life is highly likely to exist but they take that one step further and suggest it is also highly likely to be predatory...read more>>>...

Seeing The Bigger Picture

Daily OM: Seeing an image of the planet Earth taken from space inspires awe in many of us, since we can clearly see the connectedness of all of us who live upon this planet. We have created imaginary boundaries, sectioning ourselves into countries and states, forgetting that in reality we are all living together, breathing the same air, drinking from the same water, eating food grown from the same earth.

We share everything on this planet, whether we are conscious of it or not, with other people, and those people are our brothers and sisters. Keeping a photograph or painting of the planet Earth in a prominent place in our homes can be a positive way to remember our interconnectedness.

Meditating on the fact that any sense of separation we have from one another is truly an illusion, we will naturally begin to make more conscious choices in our daily lives. The simple act of preparing food, or determining how to dispose of our refuse, can be done with the consciousness that whatever we do will affect all our brothers and sisters, no matter how far away they live, as well as the planet herself...read more>>>...
