WHITE-WINGED CHOUGH - URAMBI HILLS
I really can't believe this was taken a year ago. I remember the early evening walk so vividly. I arrived at the foot of the Urambi Hills, and noticed a group of White-Winged Choughs on the trail in front of me. They were not regular visitors to the Urambi Hills, though I had captured images of them there in the past. On this occasion, they were too busily hunting for morsels of food, to be bothered with me. I was permitted to wander right up to them ... and had the choice of a number of Choughs to picture. This was a youngster that had detached itself from the feeding group. A year ago, wow!
