This Jackdaw photographed was taken during a first visit back to Avebury in 2016, after 18 year absence. It was perched on one of the stones and was standing defiantly, almost demanding my attention. As a totem of transformation and change, I think back to then, and see where I am now ... and realise I it may well have been trying to tell me something!
