Favourite's Collection #152

My selection of UK native birds is very limited, sadly, as there are not a great deal of birds around in the hedgerows any more. Back in 2002, there was a profusion of wild birds; but because of the deliberate poisons that is sprayed on fields and in the air, they are all dying off. Starlings and Sparrows are not on the endangered list ... unbelievable. And, even in the last 12 months I've noticed the decline in Robins in our local area. I rarely see them now.

This Robin Redbreast image is therefore a precious keepsake, as I can sadly anticipate their extinction in the next couple of decades. Not doom and gloom, a fact.
