The Black Shouldered Hawk is one of the most fantastic looking Australian Raptors. I was able to photograph them on two occasions only, at the Jerrabomberra Wetlands in Canberra. This image was taken during my first ever encounter with these incredible raptors. I've chosen a black and white image to be added to my favourite's folder simply because I love working in black and white!
