Aluminum can prevent your body from absorbing much-needed calcium, and it also impacts bone mineralization. It can cause brain inflammation and has been linked to a higher risk of Alzheimer’s disease. Other conditions that have been linked to aluminum include anxiety, insomnia, mood disorders, autism, cognitive deficit, ALS, and anemia.

In addition, aluminum accumulates in sperm cells. It has been linked to male fertility issues, with men with higher levels of aluminum having a lower sperm count and overall semen quality.
