Totem Birds of the Week are generally chosen on the Sunday prior to the new week More often than not, a totem bird will appear at some point during the day; making the totem bird of the week for next week the Jackdaw.
We'd been visiting Worden Park in Leyland Lancashire ... and this particular Jackdaw decided to make itself known to me. Hence the Jackdaw being this week's medicine.
