NHS Adds 9 New Official Symptoms To Covid-19 List

[Richie Allen]: Once upon a time, there were three official symptoms of Covid-19. Those were high temperature, a new persistent cough and a change to the sense of taste and smell.

At the stroke of a pen, the NHS has just added nine new official symptoms of the virus making it twelve in total.

According to The Independent:

There are now a total of 12 symptoms, with the NHS adding shortness of breath, feeling more tired than usual, body aches, loss of appetite, diarrhoea and feeling sick or being sick.

It also includes headaches, a sore throat and a blocked or runny nose. A note on the website adds: “The symptoms are very similar to symptoms of other illnesses, such as colds and flu.”

Both the World Health Organisation and the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention have had longer symptom lists for some time, but the UK had just three symptoms for almost two years of the pandemic.

News of the change comes days after free universal testing for Covid ended in England on 1 April as part of the government’s plan for living with the virus.

Did you catch that? A note on the website adds:The symptoms are very similar to symptoms of other illnesses, such as colds and flu.”

They really do think we’re idiots don’t they?

The government told us that access to free lateral flow tests would come to an end as we had to learn to live with covid.

So, what does the government do next? It adds nine new very general symptoms to the official list. Literally everything could be covid now.

I’m surprised they didn’t go the whole hog and add cold sores, acne, itchy feet and thinning hair to the list too.

The suckers will buy it. They’ll buy the £5 tests too. They’ll continue to update the relevant websites with their false positive results and the media will report it forevermore.

And the beat goes on.
