A legal expert is warning the Australian government to get ahead
of the rapid rise of AI smart glasses before having to play catch-up on
privacy laws.
The devices are proving transformative for people
with disabilities, but the ability to film strangers without their
knowledge is raising concerns. Apart from a small, red recording light
on the frame of some models, many people may not realise they’re being
filmed.
