Army sniper claims troops killed ‘reptilian beings’ in battle near Area 51

A former U.S. Army sniper has alleged that American special operations forces engaged in a lethal underground firefight with reptilian beings near Area 51, resulting in the death of at least one U.S. soldier.

Nick Betts, co-host of the Liberty Risk podcast, said an unnamed member of the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) disclosed the details during a night of drinking while the group was involved in a documentary project about the war in Ukraine.

The account, which Betts shared on a December 2025 podcast episode, describes soldiers being deployed from Fort Bragg in North Carolina after an underground facility a few miles from the Nevada base stopped transmitting routine radio checks and a quick-reaction force failed to return. The team was briefed at Area 51 itself, issued directed-energy weapons, and flown by Black Hawk helicopter to a tunnel entrance leading into the complex.

Once inside, a group of roughly six operators began clearing the tunnels and encountered the first of three invaders. “They said that they f****** shot this creature that was bipedal, mildly reptilian-looking but had fingers and was using this weapon system,” Betts said.

Moments later, one soldier was struck in the chest by the same type of energy weapon and killed instantly. “As they’re coming around on this outside, the outside left guy gets f****** hosed with one of the guns that they’re using like straight to the chest and f****** dies,” Betts recounted.

The operators returned fire, killed the first creature, and ultimately eliminated all three, according to the source. The fallen soldier’s remains were cremated on site—a decision the team protested because of the serviceman’s Catholic faith—and a cover story of a training accident was prepared.

The facility itself was described as more advanced than the most secure areas of the Pentagon, featuring biometric hand scanners and iris readers. “It was, you know, almost looked like ‘Independence Day,’ where they have the glass windows and things like that and access points with full handprints and biometrics and then also an iris reader,” Betts said....<<<Read More>>>...
