FOR THE GOOD; FOR THE BETTER

Gazing down to the valley from the privileged heights
He sighs; watches the replay memories of regrets
What could have been ...
Signposts read but roads not taken
He therefore only has himself to blame
For where his virtual body sits amid the thin ice

He should have, could have, never did
Its only himself to blame for being lost.

He gazes then across the plateau
Towards the escarpment ahead of him
‘The future track’ in the created bubble of time
There is a lone tree standing there
Its roots wanderers through the shattered rocks
‘It proves survival exists in the most unlikely places’
‘It makes the most of the bad situation’
‘When the specie seeds fell from the sky’
‘And landed in the inhospitable place’
‘Take heed child, take note’
cries the voice of the sky

Close by an eagle hovers
Alien mind linked with alien mind
But they ‘understand’ each other
Pictures transfer like a facsimile
They find a speculating third voice evolve
As wisdom springs like rain from sudden clouds
Soaking the leaves of the hardy tree
Giving life to ideas of harsh survival

‘All and everything can be sustained’
‘Provided thoughts support the structured belief’
‘You make the most with a smile’
‘You will find success’
‘But if you gaze star-wards with misery’
‘Nothing will change and your wings shall fail’

Towards the valley he projects
Closing in on what he once had
Seeing how much has changed
But essentially it remains the same
Whereas within his mind
He is different to what he would have been
He is wiser ...
Than he would have been

There is certainty his ‘tree’ will be transplanted
Back on the shoreline within the storm
With roots more cunning; more careful;
Hardier than before the sojourn

It is evolving
The wheel is turning
The circle coming back on itself
For it will arrive
Such is the developing saga within the bubble
He sees as much from his worthy altitude
But won’t realise ....
Until he is back on the valley floor
What he experienced
Was for the good ... was for the better
It all will connect like it was designed to be ....
