The Maelstrom Of Despair

Bravely we enter this dreadful area of sea,
thankful for the aid of our merciful gods,
who's help will release us from the spell eventually,
for without them, our journey would be against the odds.
All of us trust the power of the holy runes.
All hands believe the mighty word of our magical guide,
who's spells weave wondrous and awesome tunes.
From the lashing waves and screeching winds we cannot hide.
Earlier, our mighty ship was tossed round and round,
by the very voice of the banshee queen,
and on a dreadful reef we nearly ran aground,
but thankfully, at the last second, it was seen.
And, no matter what that bitch throws at us, we survive,
just like The Deedsman did tell us we would.

Soon our brave quest can truly revive,
once we deal with all the glory and the spilling of blood.
Know, we are simple men us viking travellers,
ne'er before have we come across such an awesome force.
Magic was but legend told to entertain us,
but we know now it to be an awesome resource.
And I Magnus a viking brave tells the tale.
For soon I shall learn The Alchemist's Art,
and I know by far sight our quest will ne'er fail.
For soon the journey through succesful seas shall start.
