A tall order

Changing established mind sets is such a difficult thing to do. A mind set is the effect of something deep within the psyche. It is not the cause of the attitudes which shape mortal lives. The cause of a mind set is always a subconscious programming which has first to be realised, and then accepted, before it can be changed. Subconscious programming is set in motion by our conformity to environmental and social demands as well as family & peer expectations. We are all controlled by words such as 'Norms' or 'wrongs' or 'rights' and also 'accepted behavioural traits'. It is therefore a tall order to successfully change a current mind set in this stressful age.
