A Word on 'Squirrel Magick'

Squirrel is a powerful totem to call on at any time when you feel stuck in your life or in a project and ready to give up. Its medicine teaches us that perseverance and the willingness to adopt different methods are the keys to success.

This animal also teaches us the importance of preparedness. No animal is busier than a squirrel during autumn, as it gathers nuts and seeds and buries them. For us humans preparedness is not only important on the physical level; it can mean being as flexible as Squirrel when it comes to allowing and initiating change.

Squirrel also reminds us to gather only that which is necessary. This animal's medicine can be a valuable antidote not only for the syndrome of hoarding physical things, but also for the habit of hoarding emotions and memories which are no longer needed and which limit our trust in love and abundance.

Busy as this animal often is, it always has time to play. Squirrels also seem to enjoy simply resting on a tree branch or the railing of my deck in a pose which feels like meditation to me.

In this way, Squirrel teaches us that there is time for everything in life, and that the balance between work, play, and rest and contemplation is vital to our overall feeling of well-being and harmony.

£17billion wiped off BP shares as oil slick reaches U.S. coast in 'worst spill in history'... and Obama says they will pay

Nearly £17billion pounds have been wiped off BP shares as an oil spill that is threatening to eclipse the Exxon Valdez disaster spread out of control and started washing ashore along America's Gulf Coast early today. Fishermen rushed to scoop up shrimp and crews spread floating barriers around marshes in a desperate attempt to stave off an environmental disaster. BP was also facing financial disaster as the company lost £16.9billion in market value and U.S. President Barack Obama announced they will foot the bill for the clean-up. The company is currently bleeding £4million a day as the crisis spreads out of control. In the end, the disaster could cost billions. But the threat to life along the Louisiana coast - and the devastating repercussions for the local economy - threatened to be even greater. The spill was bigger than imagined - and closer. Five times more oil than BP estimated is gushing into the ocean each day – about 5,000 barrels, or 210,000 gallons. (Daily Mail)

Triangle In The Sky

The daylight is dying, and the moon recovers its vivid steps across the sky
Human life lulls to that of night time haunts
Time for the travellers to wander without fear of detection
Making their way onto the mortal dimension; through rents in the cosmic cloth
In safety ... wary of stray eyes gazing out at their descent onto the physical stage ...
A wondrous red sunset fills the sky, distant mountains making the perfect back clothe
Eyes gazing out of the window into a beautiful world, mindful of the regrets
War and violence is not too far away from this idyllic, peaceful place
A mind dreamily star gazing, thinking of others and adventures past and present ...
Eyes beholding a sight, then ...
A sight that defies mortal logic
A vision that primitives have seen and worshipped now for centuries
A triangle of lights in the sky
A apparition the scientists and the governments deny
but secretly promote
Eyes watch the flitting lights across the heavens
And smile in wondrous silence
No need to broadcast a primeval fact
Visitors have crossed these shores ever since man took its first steps
and made its first fire
and killed its first kin ....
Nothing out of place ...
Confirmation for the sage
Realisation for the mortal that higher forces control human lives
Mankind never has a say in its destiny
Like a puppet on a string pulled back and forth
The sage one of the exceptions ... a breed apart from the sheep
Living in silence ... defying the law makers, living out a penance
Guiding the minds which direct the Merkabah craft with pure thinking
Sending out gossamer threads of universal light
The fuel to fire the engines of the triangle
Sending it towards its destination somewhere on earth .....
A mind aware of one relatively close
One like they ... a mind light and open
Accepting of its fate trapped in a shell of clay
One who watches but will never reveal
One who provides the fuel for a craft off course
One who was not expected to be on the earth at this time
One like they ... one from their dimension
One volunteering to fall
to experience what it means to be human ...

Accepting Criticism

Many highly intelligent motivated professionals let their habitual emotional reactions get in the way of learning. Even some of us who say we relish constructive criticism can have strong emotional reactions when we receive negative feedback about our attitudes and behavior. It is easy to become defensive and shut out what others have to tell us.

Hard truths about our personality and behavior often generate emotions that block the impetus for change. We feel vulnerable when confronted by personal flaws or shortcomings and, in that state, some of us are unable to take a constructive approach to identifying the solutions that will make us more successful and satisfied. This may be especially true if the input or feedback you receive is surprising to you and you are taken aback.
People commonly exhibit three emotional reactions to feedback that interfere with their ability to learn from it: rather than accept responsibility for our behavior, we often ignore, deny, or blame someone or something else. These defensive reactions are so second nature that you may not be aware you are responding defensively to feedback. But it is important to understand that any of these three emotional reactions will prevent you from learning from feedback and using constructive problem-solving methods to improve.

Each of these emotional reactions is described below, and while you read through the descriptions, think whether these emotional reactions play a role in your psychological defenses.
Do you try to ignore feedback about areas you need to develop? Do you find that you would rather deny than confront issues in your life? Have others ever said to you that you find someone or something to blame rather than reflect on your role in problems or difficult situations? What events need to occur for you to move to acceptance of the validity of feedback about your developmental needs? What are the psychological mechanisms that have historically interfered with your ability both to accept full responsibility for your counterproductive behavior and to create the foundation to constructively solve how to change your behavior to be more effective at work?
Ignorance might be bliss for some matters, but when you are looking at your personality and behavior, ignorance is not bliss. Without insight into your attitudes and behaviors, you are stuck with unconsciously repeating them -- whether they work well for you or not. Consider the differences between your ordinary work behaviors and how you might work on an important project or job assignment. When you are assigned important projects, you apply your intelligence, education, and experience and may consult with your peers to ensure the best possible outcome. You make a conscious effort to apply all your business smarts and technical knowledge to make sure the job is done right. Contrast this with your everyday approach to work. For most people, their work behaviors are more often the result of unconscious processes -- habits -- than of carefully crafted efforts. Illogical as it may be, people tend to ignore (or blame others for) past failures and problems and simply repeat what has not worked for them in the past.
People seldom apply their intelligence, education, experience, or a peer review process to their behavioral repertoire. It is the rare individual whose work behavior is the result of a methodical, thoughtful, critiqued effort. Because most people do not make conscious behavioral choices, they "default," or revert, to personality-driven habits, many of which are counterproductive...READ MORE...

Seventy years "without food or water"

A team of scientists and doctors are studying the bizarre case of a man in India who says he has survived without food or water for the last 70 years.

Prahlad Jani, 82, also known as Mataji, is being examined in a hospital in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He claims that special powers from Hindu goddess Amba have allowed him to shun food and water since the age of eight. A spokesperson for the Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences says that Mataji may help with working out strategies to combat water and food shortages during natural disasters. He added that soldiers may also benefit from the study if they face situations, "when they are left in the deserts or in forest or in high altitude areas."

Mataji has not taken on any liquid or food since entering the hospital. But Sudhir Shah, a Neurophysician from Sterling University says this is unremarkable: "A person can live without food and water for three, four, seven to twelve days."

There are unusual aspects to Mataji's case. Since being placed under observation he has not passed urine, which Mr. Shah describes as a "unique phenomena." Investigations into Mataji will last for a total of 20 days. (Uk.News.Yahoo)

A Relationship with Self

The most important relationship we have in our lives is with our selves. And even though we are the only ones who are present at every moment of our lives—from birth onward—this relationship can be the most difficult one to cultivate. This may be because society places such emphasis on the importance of being in a romantic partnership, even teaching us to set aside our own needs for the needs of another. Until we know ourselves, however, we cannot possibly choose the right relationship to support our mutual growth toward our highest potential. By allowing ourselves to be comfortable with being alone, we can become the people with whom we want to have a relationship. Perhaps at no other time in history has it been possible for people to survive, and even thrive, while living alone. We can now support ourselves financially, socially, and emotionally without needing a spouse for survival in any of these realms. With this freedom, we can pursue our own interests and create fulfilling partnerships with friends, business partners, creative cohorts, and neighbors. Once we’ve satisfied our needs and created our support system, a mate then becomes someone with whom we can share the bounty of all we’ve created and the beauty we’ve discovered within ourselves. As we move away from tradition and fall into more natural cycles of being in the world today, we may find that there are times where being alone nourishes us and other periods in which a partnership is best for our growth. We may need to learn to create spaces to be alone within relationships. When we can shift our expectations of our relationships with ourselves and others to opportunities for discovery, we open ourselves to forge new paths and encounter uncharted territory. Being willing to know and love ourselves, and to find what truly makes us feel deeply and strongly, gives us the advantage of being able to attract and choose the right people with whom to share ourselves, whether those relationships fall into recognizable roles or not. Choosing to enjoy being alone allows us to fully explore our most important relationship—the one with our true selves.

Inner Awareness

We are all pelted with problems. Honestly, it should not even bother or even hinder us to becoming all we ought to be. Aspirations as kids should continue to live within us, even though it would be short-lived or as long as we could hold on to the dream. They say you cannot teach an old dog new tricks… or can you?

Concentrate and take notice of your Inner Awareness. Inner-Awareness, what does it mean?Well, lets us look at each word individually.“Inner” means inside, within the essence of our being on some spiritual level. “Awareness” means one's perception of reality from one plane or dimension to another. Therefore, it could be said that “Inner-Awareness” is an attitude, an understanding of ones inner consciousness. An understanding of how one perceives themselves.

A true understanding of how you really feel and why you act in the way you do.Every person in this world has access to their inner awareness. We all live in a very materialistic world that is run by logic and scientific achievement and discovery. For something to be real, you must perceive it with your physical senses. If you’re inner awareness has not been developed and fine-tuned, then you may find many activities and energies around have no conscious awareness for you, so you will be out of touch with your inner self.

Your goal is to create a balance between the physical senses and the inner senses. There are two energies muscular and feminine. A masculine energy is more aggressive, a logical action to take, which results in a creation of something in the physical world. A feminine energy is a more flowing and spontaneous energy that relates more to the spiritual essence of our being. Inherent within all beings are both energies. When they work together, they create a harmonic balance.

A key element in developing your inner awareness’s is to trust an initial response, answer or insight you receive from yourself. For example, how many times have you had an intuitive insight to do something, which made no logical sense at all? Most of us at sometime, have let our logical mind talk us out of things and then we could kick ourselves later because we missed an opportunity. If your mind is busy, and you are thinking about all the problems in your life and worrying about tomorrow, you could miss some important information or insights that will help you in life. Another thing you may possibly do is not trust your inner self when making a key decision in your life, but you will trust someone else to make the decision for you ... READ MORE ...

Some Astrotheology

Why do the same stories, dates, numbers, and symbols show up repeatedly in religious myths and texts all across the ancient world?

This is related to the winter solstice or midwinter festival when the Sun is at the least powerful point in its cycle in the northern hemisphere. They said that on the solstice, our December 21/22nd, the Sun had 'died'. Three days later - the 25th - they said the Sun was born or born again. Thus we have a long line of Sun gods given the 'birthday' of December 25th. The Jesus of the Gospels is a symbol of the Sun and the stories include a host of other Mystery school knowledge and esoteric concepts.” -David Icke, “Tales from the Time Loop”.

For three days, December 22nd, 23rd, and 24th, the Sun rises on the exact same latitudinal (declinations) degree. This is the only time in the year that the Sun actually stops its movement northward or Southward in our sky. On the morning of December 25th the Sun moves one degree northward beginning its annual journey back to us in the Northern Hemisphere, ultimately bringing our spring. Anything steadily moving all year long that suddenly stops moving for three days was considered to have died. Therefore, God’s Sun who was dead for three days, moves one-degree northward on December 25th and is symbolically born again!” -Jordan Maxwell, www.jordanmaxwell.com

Sirius, the brightest star in the night sky, is the star in the East. On Dec. 24th it aligns with the three brightest stars in Orion’s belt which are called (and have been called since ancient times) the “three kings.” The three kings line up perfectly with Sirius pointing to the exact spot in which the Sun will rise the next morning. The larger constellation in which this takes place was known to the ancients as the “manger” or the “cradle” which is visible just before dawn on Dec. 25th. So the three kings or three magi effectually “follow” the star in the East to the manger, the birthplace of God’s Sun at the Winter Solstice. “Easter” also derives from the Eastern Star Sirius. The three gifts of the magi are Frankincense, Myrrh, and Gold. Frankincense is an amber resin that was burned at solar temples, Myrrh was known as “tears of the Sun,” and Gold too long represented the Sun in the ancient world .... READ MORE ...

Melting icebergs cause sea levels to rise by the height of just a human hair every year

Floating ice equivalent to 1.5 million icebergs the size of the one that sank the Titanic are melting away each year, research has shown. The lost ice is only raising sea levels annually by a tiny fraction - about a hair's breadth across the world's oceans.

This is despite the fact that, according to Archimedes's principal, floating ice displaces its own volume of fluid and should not add more water when it melts. The melting icebergs cause sea levels spread evenly across the globe to rise by just 49 micrometres a year, about the width of a human hair.

At that rate, it would take 200 years for the oceans to rise by a centimetre and if all the floating ice was to melt sea levels would rise by only 4cm, according to scientists. If all the ice on land melted, it would raise the levels of oceans by 230ft.

Lead researcher Professor Andrew Shepherd, from the University of Leeds, said: 'Over recent decades there have been dramatic reductions in the quantity of Earth's floating ice, including collapses of Antarctic ice shelves and the retreat of Arctic sea ice. 'These changes have had major impacts on regional climate and, because oceans are expected to warm considerably over the course of the 21st century, the melting of floating ice should be considered in future assessments of sea level (Daily Mail)

A Word on 'Nagas'

The word Naga comes from the Sanskrit, and nag is still the word for snake, especially the cobra, in most of the languages of India. When we come upon the word in Buddhist writings, it is not always clear whether the term refers to a cobra, an elephant (perhaps this usage relates to its snake-like trunk, or the pachyderm's association with forest-dwelling peoples of north-eastern India called Nagas,) or even a mysterious person of nobility.
It is a term used for unseen beings associated with water and fluid energy, and also with persons having powerful animal-like qualities or conversely, an impressive animal with human qualities. In myths, legends, scripture and folklore, the category naga comprises all kinds of serpentine beings. Under this rubric are snakes, usually of the python kind (despite the fact that naga is usually taken literally to refer to a cobra,) deities of the primal ocean and of mountain springs; also spirits of earth and the realm beneath it, and finally, dragons.
Nagas [kLu] are a class of beings (often snake-like in form) that dwell in a variety of locations ranging from waterways and underground locations and also in unseen realms. These beings have their own perceptions and vary in their enlightened level as do humans and other beings. Nagas are susceptible to suffering created by mankind's carelessness and basic ignorance of proper conduct in nature and disrespectful actions in relation to our environment. Therefore Nagas often retaliate towards humans when they behave in such ignorant manners. The expression of the Nagas' discontent and agitation can be felt as skin diseases, various calamities and so forth ... READ MORE ...

'Alive On The Inside'

Rays of sunlight filter through the gloom,
Cool, morning air passes through an open window
The writer surveys the room but hardly recognises the place
or acknowledges his presence there ...
Deep in the void his consciousness drifts,
deeper than ever he realised he could
In total darkness he treks ancient pathways
Fearlessly sifting through forgotten alleys within the mind
Knowing there is a way through ...
Vague memories surface, somehow he shakes off the bitter despair
which rages from the surface ... reactions to an abysmal life
Somehow he remains victorious, overcoming every attack the mind demons muster
Their venom giving him confidence after confidence,
confirming his convictions are true ...
Mankind has been here before in the distant past
Its consciousness was advanced before ever the primitive mind was devised
and the abilities are now displaced,
and he is one of a breed contracted to delve
to dig deep within their human resolve,
activating the hybrid genes to act as a weapon
to give him the extra strength to strive deeper
and find the missing link ...
The passageways are dark; the feeling of evil is overwhelming
the life of the outside is painful, almost unbearable
the risks are great but he remains alive on the inside
with hope his greatest ally and the connection with the inner self still strong
he so far prevails but for how long he doesn’t know
for he has never been to these depths of despair before ...

The more you try, the greater your chance of succeeding. The law of averages is on your side. Taking a risk is often your first necessary step toward success. If you don't take some risks, you won't get the chance to succeed. While you are trying, you are winning. Never get discouraged. Every wrong attempt is another step forward. People that make no mistakes usually don't make anything. Make up your mind not merely to overcome a thousand obstacles, but to win in spite of a thousand defeats. Your mistakes are stepping stonesto success and your installment payments to victory. You can't be a winner and be afraid to lose.

The Continuing Unfolding of the Crop Circles

Beyond sightings of alien spacecraft, there are the wondrously intriguing crop circles and pictograms. Most of these are not hoaxes, notwithstanding that some simple circles are the work of humans as can be discerned with minimal investigation (e.g., footprints). One of my favorite formations is the 151 circle glyph formed near Stonehenge, England on July 7, 1996, which appeared within 45 minutes during broad daylight according to a former RAF pilot. Crop circles have been documented since the 16th century. Other illustrations of authentic ET pictograms include (but are not, of course, limited to): Hubbard, Oregon, 1964, Avebury England, 1994, Beckhampton, England, 1998, the “Crown” of Devizes, England, 1999, West Overton, England, 1999, Etchilhampton, England, 1999, East Kennett England, 2000, Broadbury Banks, England, 2000, the “Koch Fractal” of Milk Hill, England, 1997, Milk Hill, England, 1999, Milk Hill, England, 2000, Allington Down, England, 1999, Brummen, Holland, 1997, West Kennet, England, 1999, Uffington, England, 2000, Windmill Hill, England, 1999, Barbury Castle, England, 1999, Swindon, England, 1999, Liddington Castle, England, 1999, Avebury Trusloe, England, 2000, the “Mandala” of Woodborough Hill, England, 2000, East Kennet, England, 1999 & 2000, Alton Barnes, England, 1998, Beckhampton, England, 2000, Picked Hill, England, 2000, Stadskanaal, Holland, 2000, Chehalis, U.S., 1994, Bishop’s Cannings, England, 2000, Haspen Hill, England, 1999, Silbury Hill, England, 2000, Adam’s Grave, England, 2000, South Field, England, 2000, Eastfield, England, in June 2004.

All of the crop circle design patterns follow strict geometrical rules of construction. The formations usually ‘arrive’ at night in fields of wheat, barley, canola (rapeseed), oats, alfalfa or sunflowers. Crop circles are not confined to England, though the Circle Makers seem to be enamored of England. They have also been spotted in the United States including at the University of Virginia in 1998, Canada, Australia, Japan, India, Germany, France, Israel, Switzerland, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Sweden, New Zealand, Australia, Italy, Belgium, Finland, Russia, Spain and Austria and in other parts of the world.
The ET crop circles are carefully planned and designed by extraterrestrial Circle Makers on their computers before the ET artist’s design is implemented on the ground by other ET crew. They are created and formed in the crops as a benign sign of their presence, the structure and precision of their art serving as a testimony to the extraordinary level of their science, creativity and good intentions. None of the corn, wheat or other crops though folded into spiral and other formations, is destroyed. The circle or other form is formed through a gentle bending and lengthening at the node (elbow) on the stork of plants within the crop circle without harming the plant. In contrast, if people stand on corn or other plants, they invariably cause the stems to snap.
The stalks inside a crop circle are typically bent into what is known as a swirl pattern, and the circles may spin clockwise or counterclockwise or radiating straight out from the center. In patterns with several circles, one circle may spin clockwise and another counterclockwise. Even a single circle may contain two or more "layers" of stalks, each spinning in a different direction. In each case the plants, though bent by 90 degrees at the node of the stem, continued to grow and ripen, while crop outside the circle remains completely unaffected and form an upright standing wall. The Circle Makers have the ability to “comb” the stalks with as much ease as combing one’s hair, for those who still do that ... READ MORE ...

HRT Drugs Based on Medical Fraud

'Court documents unsealed as part of a lawsuit against drug giant Pfizer reveal how drug companies used deception and fear to manipulate women into taking dangerous hormone replacement therapy (HRT) drugs. "The information coming out in litigation helps us understand how a belief in a 'protective benefit' of estrogens on the heart was able to spread like wildfire through the medical community," said Jerome L. Avorn of Harvard Medical School.

Pfizer, which purchased Wyeth in October 2009, is being sued by more than 13,000 people who claim that they developed cancer and other health problems after taking HRT drugs. The plaintiffs claim that Wyeth knew of these risks all along, and downplayed them even as it exaggerated the drugs' benefits...Read more:

Sensitivity Of Water

Water is life. As the planet is blanketed by nurturing salt seas and fresh water concourses, so are our own bodies, and those of all plants and animals, created from and provided for by water. We are bound to it and it to us so strongly that, as was discovered by Dr. Masaru Emoto, the vibrational energy projected by humans in the form of thoughts, words, ideas, intentions, and sounds has the power to alter water's molecular structure. Dr. Emoto was working with magnetic resonance fields when he realized that the unique crystalline forms assumed by frozen water indicated that the water bore the imprint of not only its physical state, but also its spiritual surroundings. The initial findings were simple: pure water creates beautiful, snowflake-like crystals while polluted water is entirely unable to form crystals and resembles mud. Dr. Emoto followed this by placing distilled water in front of speakers playing various forms of music, ranging from classical to heavy metal. Soothing, uplifting music inspired the formation of exquisite crystals, while discordant music forced the water to assume distorted forms. He found that positive or negative words and phrases typed on paper and affixed to bottles or simply spoken nearby created vibrations that enacted change in the water's structure. Words like 'love' and 'gratitude' had a positive, cleansing effect on water and caused it to form pure, tight crystalline clusters. He also found that deep and focused prayer, even when spoken from afar, had the power to heal large bodies of polluted water. When the speaker was sincere, the words positive, the music beneficial to the soul, or the prayer pure in intent, Dr. Emoto found that the water retained the beneficial changes to its structure for some time. Dr. Emoto compiled his findings in two-volumes entitled "Messages From Water." Therein he explains how the effect of energy, both positive and negative, can now be clearly seen not only in water itself, but in all living things. As our bodies are mostly water, we are inexorably bound to the element and the molecular changes that occur in response to words, prayer, pollution, deeds, gratitude, and love. Positive energy will effect positive changes within our bodies and negative energy will effect negative changes. While it is empowering to realize that we possess such a level of control over our own health, the implications in regard to planetary healing may be truly profound.

Thought Police Muscle up in Britain

'Britain appears to be evolving into the first modern soft totalitarian state. As a sometime teacher of political science and international law, I do not use the term totalitarian loosely. Shamanic Healing In The 21st Century

Shamanic healing describes in essence a group of processes that has been practised throughout the millennia, and throughout every civilisation in the world, which entails for a shaman to travel in non-ordinary realms (quantum realms, other worlds, dreamtime etc) and there, to make changes, learn about the nature of the problem and to bring back resolutions.
Shamanic healing relies at the baseline for any practitioner, or shaman, to be able to contact and understand the underlying "invisible" energetic realities of the world. Therefore, and although for example soul healing, soul loss and a range of mind healing and incarnational healing activities is what is most commonly associated with shamanic healing, a shaman can also "read plants", minerals, other forms of energy imprints and match these to the problem at hand.
True shamanic healing is absolutely fascinating and not to be confused with a mind game that used to be played at some length in the "new age communities" of the late 20th century. The difference between an "imagining" and a true shamanic healing experience is known because it is FELT; further more, when a true shamanic healing experience has taken place, REALITY CHANGES as a result.
For a beginner studying shamanic healing work, it is of the essence to REMAIN REAL at all times.Humans are easily given to imagination and delusion; and someone who has never experienced an orgasm would probably be hard pushed to explain the difference in the sensations of an orgasm, and a good sneeze.
It is therefore essential for a junior shaman to first of all, learn how to differentiate between what is real and what is just an imagining; this is needed to set the path in the right direction, towards more real experiences and away from disturbing illusions.
In past societies, shamans were put through severe rituals of pain to "ground them in physicality" and to teach them the all important lessons of reality vs illusions; this increases the shamans ability to feel, to perceive; it releases their limitations of fear and reversal and it is indeed the first and most important step to moving forward into true shamanic healing at the higher levels of reality ... In other words, when feeling is encountered and is subjected to mental consideration and the reaction is radiated into the astral body, 'emotion' is generated. This process may proceed consciously and deliberately and thus with a somewhat retarded and discriminative effect, as for instance when savouring the palatability of food. The more usual occurrence, however, is that the procedure is largely automatic, with the reaction instantly flashing from the sensed area to the brain, and from there to the emotional body. An example of the latter is where physical harm is suffered, followed by an immediate chain of reaction, ranging from a feeling of pain, followed perhaps by rage or fear, or a combination of these effects.

Emotion may also evoke desire. When the mind recognizes the feeling produced in the astral body, and the resulting emotion is pleasurable, then desire for the continuance or repetition is created. If on the other hand the sensation is painful, then the mental reaction would be for desisting the causal agency.

Through the presentation of facts the mind may succeed in subduing emotions. So often the problem is how to induce the individual under emotional stress to summon his mental powers, which would enable him to assess the situation and to subject it to calm and dispassionate scrutiny.Health conditions may be seriously affected by emotional attitudes. This is because man's vital body is still primarily governed and swept into activity by his emotional vehicle. When the latter becomes violently agitated and is for instance disturbed by excessive temper, intense worry or other continuous irritation, then a stream of emotional energy will be poured into the etheric body, galvanizing such centres as the solar plexus into intense activity. This will be reflected in the endocrine and nervous systems, as well as in the blood stream, causing indigestion, biliousness, other gastric disturbances, or headaches and related complaints. Similarly bitterness, disgust, hatred, or a sense of frustration, are apt to induce many of the prevalent toxic conditions of the physical system, evoking a general state of ill health. Or ideals may have exceeded accomplishments, leading to frustration and suffering.

The cure for many of these conditions lies in the simple word acceptance — that is the positive attitude of accepting conditions which, notwithstanding our best efforts, seem to be unavoidable — but with the determination to bring the emotions under closer control, and to do better next time...READ MORE ...

Offerings of the Day

When we have good days, we often find ourselves going over the details later, enjoying them a second and third time as we feel the joy of our good fortune. When we have bad days, we may find ourselves poring over the details of our misfortunes. However, we can reframe those bad days by making it a daily practice to spend some time before going to bed each night to review the gifts we received that day. Regardless of our evaluation of the day—good, bad, mediocre—we can call forth the many blessings that were present. This practice transforms our consciousness as it reveals the fullness at the heart of our lives. Some days it’s easy to recount the gifts we’ve received; on other days, we have to look harder for the offerings of the day, but once we do, we will find there are always quite a few. We can keep it simple and be grateful for the fact that we have a roof over our head, nature, food, and our health. Once we have fully experienced these gifts, we can move outward to the gifts that may require a little more thought such as the gifts of forgiveness, tolerance and acceptance that we may have learned that day. We can also always be grateful for the people in our lives who support us, no matter how bad our day may have been. Just reviewing the many positive offerings in our lives provides a context for our difficulties that puts them in proper perspective, but we can also make an effort to see the gifts even in adverse circumstances. This can be challenging and may require some practice before it feels authentic, but we have all had the experience of a disappointment or loss leading to a surprising gain. Just remembering this and trusting the give and take of life can help us to remember that sometimes the best gifts of all are the ones we don’t recognize right away. In addition, the lessons we learn in the face of adversity are offerings in their own right, allowing us to count patience, wisdom, and fortitude alongside the other gifts of the day.

McCanns beg police to start again in the search for Madeleine

The parents of Madeleine McCann have accused British police of 'giving up' on their missing daughter.

Kate and Gerry McCann spoke out just days before the third anniversary of Maddie's disappearance, urging investigators to go back to the start and review the case. The McCanns fear their own £2million search - funded by public donations received since Maddie vanished from their Algarve holiday apartment - has stalled. They claim this is due to the failure of both Portuguese and UK police to investigate leads unearthed by their private investigators.

In a pre-recorded GMTV interview due to be broadcast today, Mr McCann said: 'It's not right that an innocent, vulnerable British citizen is essentially given up on. And I don't think it's right that, as parents, that we have to drive the search.' He added: 'We need to have a proper review of all the information --that's how we will move the investigation forward.'

Mrs McCann, a GP who gave up work to concentrate on the search for Madeleine, said: 'We do this in medicine. You know, if there is a case that you don't seem to be getting the diagnosis, somebody will come in and review it. They'll go back to square one... and that's where you find out what else needs to be done and it will help point you in the right direction.'

Leicestershire Police has carried out its own inquiries as has the taxpayer-funded Child Exploitation and On-Line Protection Centre. But neither is actively seeking the little girl. The three-year saga has already cost UK taxpayers nearly £500,000.

The couple, from Rothley, Leicestershire, told GMTV's Lorraine Kelly it was 'incredibly frustrating' that police in Portugal and the UK are not doing more to find Maddie, who was three when she disappeared from the holiday complex at Praia da Luz on the evening of May 3, 2007. (Daily Mail)

Anomaly Gallery - Mars Once More

What is the cause of this apparent light flare in this image uncovered from Google Mars material? Is it evidence of image tampering ... or is it something else? Part of the light flare appears to be actually beneath the rock outcrop along its top edge, which suggests this isn't image tampering. What is the structure directly to the left of the light flare?

Daily Merling Insight - Fresh Observations

The usual wariness of not saying too much in such a public place with unknown eyes reading each and every word ... but it appears that Madeleine is known daily by a different name. Perhaps Jacqueline is that name? If not Jacqueline then someone of that name may prove to be of significance around her. Madeleine appears to have had her hair changed to a darker colour. Around her people who sound the same as her daddy. The same accent. Though intuition says it is not necessarily meaning they are Scottish. An older woman of significance surfaced in the image ... a woman in her fifties? In her early sixties. A woman not slim by any means. With black jumper and hair a golden blonde colour. Wearing reading glasses around her neck ... a woman of formidable disposition. The name Stewart ... surname or forename is not clear. Not now ... but at some time they may have ventured to the Algarve. Had Madeleine walking through towns under a strict rein, wearing glasses to shield her distinctive eyes. Closer perhaps to the doctors than actually realised. The spread (left) indicates the elusive location within the focus ... at odds with information provided through dossiers revealed. Those dossiers have been vetted before their discovery. The triangle of three. The triad of power ... those who are involved in the situation. Though this is a vague notion in truth. Indications of secret sects and orders, hidden faces ... indicated by the images at the base of the spread. There is also the indication of two factions at odds. High tensions. The 3 of crescents is the card of birth. Madeleine's birth ... a fear for someone. A concern ... that led to the discussions depicted by the central image. Her birth appears the key ... but where is she? That is the point of this working. Significant is the place of sacred vow ... not necessarily marriage. Possibly the agreement made prior to conception. The original image of Madeleine, which I am grateful to use for psychometry ... shows a vibrant, energetic child very much loved by her parents. Her parents DID NOT harm her in anyway. Someone somewhere observed them with Madeleine ... and set the dice in motion. The child I see in my mind's eye, now ... which is still Madeleine, has changed. She is still alive. But is being created in the image of her enforced mother. Someone who thinks they can do better than the McCann's in raising her as a special child. Gripping her emotionally, this woman makes Madeleine dependant on her. Those behind, those who are the cause ... care not about this so long as Madeleine is not harmed in anyway. Madeleine's mind is clear. She does not like this woman or the place she resides in. She is mentally very strong ....

A Word on 'Binaural Beats'

Binaural Beats are a scientifically proven brain entrainment process that slowly started to gain recognition after an article called, Auditory Beats in the Brain, by Dr Gerald Oster, was published in the October 1973 edition of Scientific America.Binaural beats work by sending two different Hz frequencies, to each ear via stereo headphones causing the left and right Brain hemispheres to work in unison to hear a phantom frequency or third tone, the centred Hz difference between the two tones.

The Hz separations create a constant gentle beat and its timing and pulse match the Hz separation per second. The binaural beat process can be used to stimulate altered states of consciousness by selecting binaural beat patterns to match a desired brainwave. After a few minuets of listening and calculating, the brain starts to match this binaural beat; because of a process called frequency follow response.

In reality a binaural beat is not heard as true sound in the headphone environment, it is more like a neurological signal perceived within the brain by both brain hemispheres working in unison. The neural synchrony stimulated by binaural beats is a major aspect that assists the brain to function at a higher level. The brain continually forms new connections following new experiences. The quality and strength of neuronal connections can vary according to the input received by the brain. Binaural beats in the Alpha, Theta and Delta range provide a continuous relaxed input and promote healthy rewiring through its audio neurological signal calculation.

These new audio experiences in the brain trigger a burst of new connections between neurons, and with repetition these new neural pathways become fit, just like going to a gym, and it is the fittest connections in our brains that survive. The binaural beat process is faster, easer and more than just meditation. After several weeks of repeated listening, the brain becomes more lateral and starts to form permanent relaxed memories in both hemispheres.

The brain doesnt become dependant on binaural beats for relaxation, over time, it actually becomes more resilient to stress and this process continues to develop further, when more binaural stimuli is received by the brain. Furthermore, as the synchronised hemispheres and neurons develop, greater personal awareness and insight follows, combined with greater stress resilience; makes binaural beat therapy a valuable tool in counselling and other therapeutic settings.

Binaural beats are excellent for developing higher states of consciousness and going beyond meditation.

Big Brother to Track Your Medication Compliance With Electronic Transmitters in Pills

'Now that the U.S. government has achieved its monopoly over health care, new technologies are in the works that will allow the government to remotely monitor and track whether ordinary citizens are complying with taking medications prescribed by conventional doctors. One new technology described at the U.S. Senate Committee on Aging allows "pills to be electronically outfitted with transmitters" which would track the patient's compliance with medications and broadcast that information back to government health care enforcers who check for "compliance and efficacy."

"Emerging technologies allow pills to be electronically outfitted with transmitters to communicate with the user's wristwatch that shows that the pill has been consumed," said University of Virginia professor Robin Felder at the committee meeting. "Broadband connectivity of these devices would allow the electronic medical record to be updated with regard to medication compliance and efficacy"...Read more:

'Word Magic'

'Since long before we were a nation, this country has been governed by Admiralty Law; the international maritime Admiralty Law of the seas. It was created to regulate and track commercial products and resources between corporations and nations; it has nothing to do with regulating people, unless individuals voluntarily accept the maritime law as having 'this authority' over them. When the Maritime Admiralty Law of the Seas is being practiced the American flag is displayed with a golden fringe surrounding the flags in the courts or on the uniforms of those who are serving Maritime Law, and not the laws of constitutional United States.

Shedding Light On Ourselves

In almost every case, we know what is best for us in our lives, from the relationships we create to the food we eat. Still, somewhat mysteriously, it is often difficult to make the right choices for ourselves. We find ourselves hanging out with someone who leaves us feeling drained or choosing to eat fast food over a salad. We go through phases where we stop doing yoga or taking vitamins, even though we feel so much better when we do. Often we have no idea why we continue to make the less enlightened choice, but it is important that we inquire into ourselves to find out. When we choose that which is not best for us, the truth can be that there is a deep seated part of us that does not want to heal. We may say it’s because we don’t have the time or the energy or the resources, but the real truth is that when we don’t take care of ourselves we are falling prey to self-sabotage. Self-sabotage happens unconsciously, which is why it’s so difficult to see that we are doing it. The important thing to realize is that this very part of us that resists our healing is the part that most needs our attention and love. Even as it appears to be working against us, if we can simply bring it into the light of our consciousness, it can become our greatest ally. It carries the information we need to move to the next level in our healing process. When we recognize that we are not making healthy choices, we might even say out loud, “I am not taking care of myself.” Sometimes this is the jolt we need to wake up to what is actually happening. Next we can sit ourselves down in meditation, with a journal, or with a trusted friend to explore the matter more thoroughly. Just shining the light of our awareness on the source of our resistance is sometimes enough to dispel its power. At other times, further effort is required. Either way, we need not fear these parts that do not want to heal. We only need to take them under our wing and bring them with us into the light.

A Word on 'Nessie'

The Loch Ness Monster, also reffered to as "Nessie", is a creature or group of creatures said to live in Loch Ness, a deep freshwater lake (known in Scotland as a loch) near the city of Inverness. Nessie is generally considered a lake monster. Along with Bigfoot and Yeti, Nessie is perhaps the best-known mystery in cryptozoology. "Nessie" was born by a journalist in a newspaper article in 1933 after the first modern sighting of a monster in loch ness was reported.

The oldest sighting on record dates back to AD 565 when St Columba was said to have seen a large monster in the water. Since the first newspaper report thousands of sightings have been reported on the loch and on land, many report the long neck and head emerging from the loch, others see moving shapes and objects on the loch surface or a large beast crossing the road in front of them. Over 50 images have been recorded but only six of these have stood the test of time, the others are either fakes or mis-identifications. The most famous of these images is the 'surgeon' photo taken by gynacologist Kenneth Wilson in 1934. His photo showed what looked like a large neck and head emerging from the loch although with nothing visible in the background a scale could never be found. It is now pretty much agreed that the surgeon photo was faked by using a plastic-wood model attached to a toy submarine. In 1968 the first sonar investigation took place in an attempt to track large objects in the loch, this was unsuccessful. The second attempt Operation Deepscan in 1987 employed 20 sonar boats and made 3 possible contacts between 77 and 178 metres. The latest scan was made in 1992 to build up a picture of the bottom of the loch, no evidence of caves or anomolies were found. The picture reproduced here from the 1987 expedition may look impressive but questions have been raised about the high level of computer enhancement.

Many theories have been put forward to explain what is in the loch but it is a mystery to this day. The most popular of these was the plesiosaur theory. An extinct dinosaur that some believe has survived in the loch without detection for millions of years. It was only the 'surgeon' picture that held any real evidence for this theory which is now discounted by most serious researchers.

The ancient plesiosaur is also an air breather and a surface dweller which makes it a very unlikely candidate. Although lots of sightings have been made of a creature resembling a plesiosaur (or at least at long neck and small head) some if not all of these have been influenced or shaped by the media ... The day police tried to save the Loch Ness Monster from harpoon killers

Today, only the most trusting believe she exists. Not so 70 years ago, however, when the idea of the Loch Ness Monster was so beguiling that ministers considered setting a trap and a leading policeman appealed for Whitehall help to protect the creature.

Archive documents have revealed how William Fraser, then chief constable of Invernessshire, was so concerned for the mythical monster he wrote to the Scottish Office. In the 1938 letter, Mr Fraser revealed an influx of Nessie spotters had been drawn by a flurry of grainy photos purporting to show the creature's neck. And he warned of a hunting party, led by a Londoner called Peter Kent, intent on capturing the monster 'dead or alive'.

He said: 'Mr Peter Kent visited Fort Augustus on Friday, August 12, and was seen there by my officer... to whom he stated that he was having a special harpoon gun made and that he was to return with some 20 experienced men on August 22 for the purpose of hunting the monster down. I have, however, caused Mr Peter Kent to be warned of the desirability of having the creature left alone, but whether my warning will have the desired effect or not remains to be seen.' His typed letter concluded: 'That there is some strange creature in Loch Ness seems now beyond doubt, but that the police have any power to protect it is very doubtful.'

Five years earlier, a question was tabled in the House of Commons asking whether, in the interests of science, an investigation should be launched. Ministers were sceptical, but the documents, in the National Archives of Scotland, show that consideration was given to stationing observers round the loch to capture Nessie on camera and to whether it would be possible to trap the monster without injury.

Given that Loch Ness is 23 miles long and a mile wide - holding more water than any other loch - this would have been no mean feat.

A spokesman for the archives, which included the Nessie files in its An Open Secret exhibition, said: 'In the end it was felt that as the monster provided interest and amusement, it would be better to let it continue to do so than to kill it, or the tales told about it.'

Sadly, it seems the notoriously elusive creature is becoming even more withdrawn. Last year, there was only one 'credible' sighting. (Daily Mail)

Madeleine McCann has not been forgotten by either of us ... our thoughts are still very much with Kate, Gerry & their family. We are still endeavouring to 'receive' information appertaining to Madeleine and her whereabouts. Daily Merlin Insights may well have been few & far between in recent months ... but extra effort is once more being undertaken to connect with 'the two old dears' and others. The thoughts have been put out ... but we are not sufficiently empowered to demand that 'the other side' provides insightive information on demand. The Unifying Intelligence

From deep within a light dawns ...
A bright sun shines on a ice locked world
The glaciers which throttled and suffocated those lands begins to melt
Such is the power of the light ...
An unknown deity descends,
Disguised in obscurity it offers its hand to a sorry world
A misfit merlin out of place
Despised by many as both devil and demon
But that is the life the deity chooses
Perfectly ...
It’s image is that of glory;
The shining sun in mortal form
Melting the ice which is the skin of the mirror
The reflections of the highest high that all carry throughout their lives ...
In an instance the touch of that light changes,
Transforms the perception of the mortal who sees and hears
Life can never be the same ...
For the light shines forth from the star of the east
Carried in plain sight in the centre of the delicate fibre like pattern of the left hand ...
The only hint of meaning behind the disguise
The only weakness in the mask of the thirteenth being
A mark worn with pride by the unknown deity
which exists deep within this mortal form ...
It bears hidden truth,
At depths merest mortals cannot comprehend
It deals with life and with death seemingly on a whim
Silent witness from the glory; down by choice
Physical manifestation of the shining sun ....
Through the abyss it may venture back and forth
Free to wander; payment waivered thus by the guardians of there
The unknown deity but one of many who visit in this way
Facets of the unifying intelligence ... teaching mankind to lose individuality
And venture back to the one ...
Because the boundaries which divide one into many are but imaginary
The light touches the many and melts that ice in an instance
Unifying; bringing down walls which had been built of water becoming unmovable stone
Each one of the seeking then the light, ascending then in search of truth
The light then descending to bring that truth into being ...
For that is the identity of he ...
He is disguised, hidden in obscurity
Peddler of deepest secrets, giver of the light of truth
Changing lives ... but remaining hidden and mysterious
For his function is not to reveal his identity ....

What Happens While We Sleep: A Spiritual Perspective

The body is a miracle of organization and intelligence in which life is continually renewed and energy continually replenished so that the total organism can continue to live. Sleeping involves part of this renewal, and is a process through which the higher vibrations of light are permitted greater access to the physical body because the emotional and mental components of personality that are often limiting factors in the awake state are no longer present while one sleeps. Although dreaming produces mental and emotional content and therefore creates emotional states, the content of these is part of the sleep state itself and not a barrier to the energies that would restore, heal, and rejuvenate.
The quality of sleeping has a great deal to do with the amount of restoration that can take place. Deep sleep produces not only different brainwave patterns, but also permits a greater influx of light energy into the cells and tissues so that toxins can be removed and greater energy can be infused on a cellular level. This does not happen in any kind of conscious way. It happens because of the nature of the human body which has never truly been separated from the higher realms of light, despite one's waking experience. At night, this body rejoins its higher counterparts that are the non-physical energy bodies, and a more seamless union of different aspects of one's being takes place than can normally occur during daytime functioning.
The infusion of light is not the only thing that can occur during sleep, however. It is also possible for a soul to decide to continue their experiences with other realms while they sleep or to receive teachings from Beings with whom they have had an ongoing soul relationship. Such nighttime experiences are not unusual even if not recalled, and many people benefit during the daytime from learning acquired at night which is unknown to them, but which occurs to their conscious mind as insight or inspiration later on. Much of this insight has taken place during the sleep state, when access to one's own higher intelligence as well as to the help and teachings of others, can infuse the mind and the understanding and be held there till such time as the conscious mind can retrieve the information or inspiration.
For those who have sleeping difficulties, there is very often a preceding difficulty that has occurred in relation to connecting with the spiritual realms. Often, something has occurred during previous lifetimes which has created a greater separation between one's embodied self and the higher self and higher energy bodies that exist on other planes. Because of this preceding separation, during the night when one wants to be asleep, it is often difficult to do so because the seamless transmission of energy from one level of being to another cannot smoothly take place.
Where this is the case, there may be longstanding problems with sleep and much wonderment about what the cause might be. Often, the cause is not physical but spiritual and energetic, that is, it is related to the perceived separation of physical life from spiritual life and the manifestation of that sense of separation through sleeplessness.
Much healing is possible at night, including healing of sleep disturbances as well. If there is a possibility for one in need of healing to relax, and instead of trying to sleep, rather to try to enter an intermediate 'twilight' zone of being partly asleep and partly awake, it is possible to rest in this state and to gain much of the nourishment from the upper realms that one would normally gain during deeper sleep. Healing of other kinds is also possible, for the relationship with the spiritual realms continues whether one perceives it to be so or not, indeed, whether one seeks it or not, and helpers of all kinds are available when called upon to help address problems, both emotional and physical, that may be troubling during the day.
The capacity to enter a deeper state of sleep is one that needs to be appreciated as part of the extraordinary complexity and beauty of the way the human body has been fashioned, for there is a self-maintaining function built into the body itself which renews itself, heals itself, and restores a sufficient amount of energy after it has been depleted so that the body can remain in a viable state for experiencing life within the physical realm for many years. As more light becomes present on earth and infuses the cellular structure of people's bodies, this capacity for renewal and sustenance will become much more available, and many of the ailments that are currently produced by insufficient energy or insufficient life-force will disappear in the presence of greater light.
