The Red Rumped Parrot (Grass Parrot) is another favourite Australian Native Bird to photograph. I miss seeing them, like many other of the Australian natives. It became a daily routine to head off to favourite haunts (This Grass Parrot was photographed at Lake Tuggeranong Shoreline in October 2018) to capture favourite and familiar native birds. You most certainly miss something when its gone; having done the same routine for several years to find it gone; is a big shock to the system. I miss it, most certainly.
