Ouija (wē'jə, -jē, sometimes ˈwiˌdʒi [wee-gee or wee-juh]) is the belief that one can receive messages during a séance through the Ouija board (also called spirit board) and planchette. I just wondered if you could give us your thoughts on Ouija Boards? Have you ever used one ... would you recommend using one? (Kay C - Brainerd, Minnesota)
Hi. Yes I've used a Ouija Board but not for many years. I wouldn't use one again however. They are dangerous in the wrong hands. An inexperienced applicator who doesn't know the full implications of an 'open dimensional portal' hasn't a clue what they are letting themselves in for. The implications can last a life time ... if used wrongly. In the hands of an experienced applicator they are potentially a fantastic form of communication with other dimensional levels. I'm speaking from experience and wish take this opportunity discourage anyone from using a Ouija board until they have a more comprehensive understanding of what they are getting themselves into! Ouija Boards are NOT toys. They are not something to dabble with and play with. I learned the hard way ...
I was in the 2nd year of High School in the UK ... around 13 years of age ... and 'created' my own Ouija board with Lexicon Cards (an alphabet card like Scrabble where the letters of the alphabet are on individual cards), a small sheet of plywood and a wine glass. I played with the 'Ouija board' with a couple of friends outside in our street. At first nothing would happen until the glass began to take on board a life of its own spelling out all kinds of words and answers to our silly questions.
This went on for hours until I asked 'for proof' something was really there. A young child was passing us on a bike at that exact moment. As I asked for proof the child was suddenly tossed from the bike onto the ground. He was uninjured fortunately.
Days later I took the 'Ouija Board' to school where a group of us would use it at break times. The wine glass would fly around the board on its own accord which we all thought was 'cool'. We received a large amount of information from a 'Prince William' who was supposedly around at the time of Oliver Cromwell. Historic events, dates and times which we scribbled onto a piece of paper. We wanted 'proof' so we approached our History teacher, saying we were trying to do an essay outside of school based on Oliver Cromwell and we'd been given some information which we wanted checking out as it wasn't in our school History book. Our teacher came back days later rather perplexed; he wanted to know where we got our information from? It was very correct - yes. But how did we have access to information which only Manchester University had? Our teacher didn't even know the information we'd been given & it wasn't in any conventional source book we could have gotten it from. In the end we conceded we'd got the information via a Ouija board. We ended up before the Headmaster and in big trouble.
Another episode with the Ouija board took place a day or two before we first got this Historic information. We were in our form-room and two of the 'cocks of the year' caught us using the Ouija Board. They wanted to try it for themselves and we refused. I got angry with them when they demanded 'proof'. I remembered when I asked for proof a week earlier. Anyway I asked for the proof something was there ... in that split second something 'black' like a shadow raced across the room; picked up a chalk duster and threw it at the chalk board. The window to our let then rattled and a door slammed. We all raced out of the room shit scared ...
I therefore speak from good experience; I've not used a Ouija board since!
