Empaths and Spiritual Awakening. Sensitivity as a Gateway to Higher Consciousness

Empathy is not merely a psychological trait but a fine-tuned sensitivity to a broader reality. An empath doesn’t just feel for others — they feel through others, absorbing emotions, unspoken energies, and subtle vibrations.

In a spiritual context, empaths are often referred to as gatekeepers or “energy receivers.” They sense what is invisible to others: the hidden layers of truth, suffering, joy, or resonance. This sensitivity can seem both a burden and a gift.

Without awareness, an empath can become overwhelmed, yet with conscious development, this trait becomes a pathway to wisdom and presence....<<<Read More>>>...

Discover the Core Types of Empaths and Their Unique Gifts

Empathy is the ability to step into another person’s emotions, thoughts, or even physical states. While every human being possesses a certain level of empathic sensitivity, some people experience others’ realities with such intensity that it deeply affects them. These individuals are called empathetic people, or simply, empaths.

However, not all empaths are the same — their sensitivity manifests in different areas, which allows us to categorize them into five main types....<<<Read More>>>...

Out-of-body experiences affect empathy levels, research shows

Dr. Marina Weiler, a neuroscientist with UVA’s Division of Perceptual Studies and lead author, explained that OBEs can trigger profound psychological transformations, fostering a deeper sense of understanding and compassion.

“Empathy is a fundamental aspect of human interaction that allows individuals to connect deeply with others, fostering trust and understanding,” Weiler noted.

OBEs, in which a person feels as though they are outside their physical body, can arise from various causes, such as sensory deprivation, hypnosis, or even spontaneously in critical situations.

While often linked to religious or supernatural events, Weiler and her colleagues’ research frames these experiences within a scientific context, underscoring their psychological and neurological significance.

Central to the study is the concept of “ego dissolution,” a state where one’s sense of individuality weakens, leading to a greater connection with the world. Researchers suggest that OBEs stimulate brain regions like the temporoparietal junction and the default mode network, which may amplify empathy and compassion...<<<Read More>>>...

Everybody Talks About Crashed Craft, Technology & Bodies: What Happened To Empathy?

The idea that governments around the world have been engaged in the retrieval of crashed extraterrestrial craft, along with non-human “biologics” has exploded into mainstream consciousness. This is in large part due to the testimony of former high-ranking intelligence official David Charles Grusch.

Last summer, Grusch provided Congress with information about covert programs that he says possess retrieved intact and partially intact craft and bodies of non-human origin.

The U.S. government continues to deny the existence of such programs and maintains that there is no evidence that we have been or are being visited by any type of non-human intelligence.

Just last November, it was claimed by the Daily Mail that at least nine “non-human craft” have been collected by the Office of Global Access (OGA), a wing of the Central Intelligence Agency.

One of the sources who was briefed on these crash retrievals stated that the CIA has a system which can “discern UFOs while they’re still cloaked” and that when the non-human aircraft land “special military units are sent to try to salvage the wreckage.”

One source added that the OGA acts as a “facilitator” to get the US military secret access to places in the world it would not usually be able to get to - such as behind enemy lines....<<<Read More>>>...

Empathy Must Start With Ourselves (and Why Empaths Can Show The Least Empathy)

Some of the least empathic people I’ve ever met are the ones who identify as “empaths.” But I do not blame these people for their insensitivity that can border on cruelty. I truly believe they know not what they do – because they cannot handle feeling all the feels and empathizing – with themselves.

In a world in need of more love, compassion, sensitivity, and empathy, it strikes me that some of the least empathic individuals I know are also the hardest on themselves. When some insensitive remark comes lashing out at you, you can bet they’ve hurled that same insult, criticism, or bullying thought towards themselves ten times for every one time it comes your way....<<<Read More>>>...

What Does A Heyoka Do?

This sacred clown not only has the incredible ability to sense energy, they also act as emotional mirrors to help people heal from the negative energy engulfing them. When people interact with a Heyoka empath, they often see just a reflection of their true selves. They then understand what they need to heal.

All empaths have to be somewhat open-minded in order to feel others’ emotions so strongly. It’s this open-mindedness that allows them to understand the emotions of others in tough situations, rather than condemn, label and stereotype them.

A Heyoka empath tends to have exceptional levels of open-mindedness. They see the world differently and that’s what allows them to consistently and consciously heal others, in spite of their background and personal situation.

A Heyoka empath isn’t the type to judge someone negatively until they have plenty of information about their situation.

A defining trait of an empath is the ability to feel other’s energies within them. This is no different with a Heyoka empath.

Heyoka empaths will not only feel the energy of others within them, they’ll also use this skill to determine what energy other people need.

They’re givers of positive energy, as well as receivers....<<<Read More>>>...

Heyoka Empath: The Most Powerful Type of Empath

Empaths are people who have the power to feel the feelings of others, and their pain too. The interesting thing about empaths is that there is a different kind of empaths, out of which the Heyoka Empath might be the most powerful one, as they are considered to be the most spiritually attuned out of all.

What is a heyoka empath? Heyoka is a Native American term meaning “sacred clown” or “fool”. Seems an odd terminology for what we now consider to be the most powerful type of Empath. The translation of heyoka gives us a little clue into the true meaning the Native Americans tried to put behind the word. In English, it would be more appropriate to describe a Heyoka Empath as someone who sees the world differently and acts in a way that is the opposite of normal.

When you meet a Heyoka in person, they act as a great emotional mirror. What you see in them will show you what you must work on to grow and evolve spiritually. Connecting with a heyoka can be an emotional experience. You may leave feeling angry or leave feeling an incredible sense of love.

As an emotional mirror, whenever a Heyoka senses an emotional reaction in you, they use it as a guide of what to reflect back to you that will help you most on your journey....<<<Read More>>>>...

A Word On "Psychic Empath"

The Webster’s New World dictionary defines empathy as: feeling, intellectual or emotional identification with another. The term psychic empath, derived from empathy, is being used more frequently in the psychic and paranormal realms, and it refers to a psychic individual who is so intensely sensitive to other people’s emotions, pains and energies that they experience them as their own.

They can probe deeply into another person’s soul and identify and experience feelings that may have been blocked for some time or unknown reason. Like other psychic abilities, one may be born with it and it is often multi-generational. However, many people can acquire this after a near-death experience. It is also believed that everyone is born with some type of psychic powers, however much of this is still open to debate.

The following are some of the most common characteristics that empaths share with one another. It is also possible that some empaths may have stronger abilities in certain areas. They have a tremendous sensitivity to the feelings and energies of people around them whether they are acquaintances or not. They inherently have a keen understanding of various types of body language. They have the capacity to feel the deep-rooted emotions and pains of others.

Healers who are also empaths usually place their hands gently over or on the individual so they can pick up and focus on the needs or emotions of the person. Two powerful emotions that can be relieved by an empath are loss and grief. To lessen the negative emotions and pain, the empath can either draw out the negative energies from the person or replace them with their own positive energies. Another way in which an empath’s skills can be helpful is if someone experiences severe pain and does not know how to describe it to his doctor. Imagine going to an empath who can feel your pain problems and thus, help ease your struggle with the description or even minimize or heal the pain.

Empaths live with an extremely vigilant awareness of their surroundings. For example, an empath may feel overwhelmed and overly cautious when in a large crowd due to all the different emotions and energies he/she automatically picks up from the people in the room. There are exercises and practices empaths can do to help protect themselves physically and emotionally from any unwanted energies or emotions from others. Psychic protection exercises have been proven to protect and shield empaths and keep their chakras aligned and their auras protected to maintain a balanced mind, body and spirit.(Psychic Library)

Becoming an Empowered Empath

[Waking Times]: If you take on other people’s energy, feel responsible for other people’s emotions, want to emotionally shut down, feel that your feelings shift with the tides of the day, or are easily depleted – please read on.

The above are just some of the symptoms that keep us from embracing the gift of our hearts – our empath ability. The world has felt overwhelming these last years. We are living in a time of tremendous shift.

Many empaths have not learned to manage their gift because they have been busy trying to stay in the boat during rough water. So, how do we take care of ourselves, navigate the ever-changing waters of our lives, and maintain our center during these times?

Empaths have a different way of seeing and being in the world. They feel everything, sometimes to an extreme. Empaths define Self in relation to others’ feelings/perspectives. This gift requires that we learn: healthy boundaries – ours and others; emotional management skills; and how to discern the voice of truth from the voice of our learned fears. Our challenge is self-understanding and cultivating the confidence that comes from learning to love and accept our sensitivity....<<<Read More>>>...

Why Empaths Are Struggling in a World of Masked Faces

[Waking Times]: We humans tend to get lost in the moment, forgetting about the events that brought us to the present, and neglecting to consider what impact the present night have on the future.

We see this happening now with Covid-19.

Here we are being team players in some weird game, going about with masks on, splashing hand sanitizer all over the place, and shutting down the economy, all the while hoping most to satiate those twin fears of death and rejection by the tribe.

Whatever pandemic narrative you subscribe to, all of the busyness about it serves to address only the present concerns of safety and conformity.

All of the effort that went into creating our communities has been forgotten, and any concern over long-term impacts are dismissed. It’s how we’re wired. All trees, no forest....<<<Read The Full Article Here>>>...

Thought Forms Of Battle

This is the exact spot where the clairaudient sounds of screaming voices and battle started for me last Sunday. This is Brough Castle and it was once a Norman stronghold; that was until the 11th Century when it was besieged and overrun by marauding Scots.

That event represents moments of intense emotions and strong thought form energies that somehow have remained in this area of the courtyard. As a sensitive and empath I somehow tapped into that thought form and heard it as if I was there. In the first person I was aware of what was going on through my mind. Through the recording of someone's hearing at the time.

That is how I have comprehended this. I had picked up on the emotional recording of one person who was present at the time who had been understandably traumatised by the massacre/fighting that was going on around them. That recording had thus been kept in that location and I had tapped into that recording with my mind. It was a strange experience.

Made more strange by Arabic voices being part of that emotional thought form recording. Arabic voices in 11th century England? Very strange. Nothing in recorded history can surely explain it. Its only when I turn to stories and fables that I've heard about the Egyptian royal family taking to exile and making their way to Scotland, that this can make sense. Its controversial ... but it perhaps explains this strange experience.

Know that the scornful skeptics will read this article and laugh at ir all. So be it ... go back to your little world of blinkered experiences and limited comprehensions of the world, and leave the psychic phenomenon of the true dimensions to those who know and understand it. Because it doesn't happen to you doesn't mean it doesn't exist for others!  Rant over ....

Thought forms exist and are like tape or CD recordings awaiting the right device/mind to be played.

What Are Your Empath Triggers? Never Let The Emotions of Others Shift Your Energy

As empaths, we go through a lot of emotional changes in life. We sometimes do not realize that these changes are not always our own, they can and do come from the emotions and energies we have been absorbing.

When things like this happen we need to be aware of our triggers. Sure, some people don’t take ‘triggers’ seriously, but when it comes to your energy and emotional shifting you should. Everything happens for a reason. For instance, if someone is upset there has to be a reason behind it.

If you are an empath that does not know his or her triggers you are holding yourself back. You are allowing the negativity in this world to overthrow you and you need to get to know yourself better. As someone who absorbs so much emotion and energy being able to tell what is and isn’t your own is crucial.....read more>>>...

The downside of 'empathy': Blindly feeling others' feelings distorts reasoning, makes us biased, tribal, and even cruel

S.O.T.T: Everywhere you turn in American politics, leaders talk about the need for empathy. The best-known instance, of course, comes from Bill Clinton, who told an AIDS activist in 1992, "I feel your pain." But it's also been a recurrent theme in the career of Barack Obama, who declared in 2007 (while still a senator) that "the biggest deficit that we have in our society and in the world right now is an empathy deficit."

And it isn't just a liberal reflex. A few months ago, George W. Bush spoke at a memorial service in Dallas for five slain police officers and said, "At our best, we practice empathy, imagining ourselves in the lives and circumstances of others." As a candidate, even Donald Trump asked Americans to identify with the suffering of others, from displaced Rust Belt factory workers to the victims of crime by undocumented immigrants...read more>>>...

Are You Feeling An Emotional Low?

If you are faced with an untimely low ebb of emotions at this time; having hit the bottom of the casket of vitality. Know you are likely to not be on your own. It is not a cataclysmic set of events that you can claim to be yours, and yours alone. There are many, many others experiencing this tide of depressing thoughts at this time. And depressing is the perfect word to describe this state of mind.

Having been on a 90% a few months ago, it is sad to feel this all time record 10% low. The question you would have been asking yourself was 'how'? And 'why'? And no doubt 'why me'? Being in a separated universe to everyone else, like all the human race, you would have thought this feeling was being felt by you and you alone. Let me into a little secret I've been feeling it too and many other people I've been interacting with in recent weeks. Life appears to have come to a distinct standstill for so many at this time. It is inexplicable and distinctly unexplainable. It appears to be something in the air, or in the water, or in the food. It is a mind set that so many have slipped into, but a mind set so few can get out of.

But what is it? Is it valid evidence of a conspiracy theory? Are THEY dumbing us down and suppressing us with these deadly emotions? Some of us will be feeling suicidal with this emotional low right now. Many of us can't shake off this depressing feeling of doom and gloom. It has been caused by something significant for so many people to suddenly thinking in the same negative way. It is not something to be dismissed lightly. The consequences and future effects are what need to be considered. Are they going to continue? Will they ever end? Is this the way we are going to feel from now? Is it going to get only worse? Will we ever get to feel 90% again? Can we climb back up to those wonderfully energetic levels? Or is that effervescent experience now gone forever?

Its like this is a different world to how it was 12-15 months ago. So much appears to have been lost. It has crept up on us when we weren't looking and struck us down. Gradually lowering our resistance to depression. Bringing these shit feelings onto us like it is how we are supposed to feel. Understand what I mean?

It sounds crazy but it is like we are being forced into a long dark night of the soul enmasse. Like it is now programmed into our DNA. It seems to be those who are sensitive and empathetic who are feeling it the most. Like an enchantment that has taken over our thought processes. An enchantment that sadly has control of our lives at the moment - Matthew James

Five Ways to Stop Absorbing Negative Energy from Others

Waking Times: With empathy, the ability to recognize and feel other people’s emotions, comes the disadvantage of also absorbing the suffering and negativity of the others around you. When this occurs, your ability to function at your best can be significantly impacted. Even a person who is not so empathic can be affected energetically when around negative or dramatic people.

Absorbing other people’s negative energy can be just as toxic on a person as ingesting unhealthy food, and perhaps even more noticeably draining. Thus, learning how to stop this from happening can be a valuable skill. Here are five methods that you can use so you absorb less negative energy from others around you:- read more>>>...

Six Habits of Highly Empathic People

Waking Times: If you think you’re hearing the word “empathy” everywhere, you’re right. It’s now on the lips of scientists and business leaders, education experts and political activists. But there is a vital question that few people ask: How can I expand my own empathic potential? Empathy is not just a way to extend the boundaries of your moral universe. According to new research, it’s a habit we can cultivate to improve the quality of our own lives. But what is empathy? It’s the ability to step into the shoes of another person, aiming to understand their feelings and perspectives, and to use that understanding to guide our actions. That makes it different from kindness or pity. And don’t confuse it with the Golden Rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” As George Bernard Shaw pointed out, “Do not do unto others as you would have them do unto you—they might have different tastes.” Empathy is about discovering those tastes. The big buzz about empathy stems from a revolutionary shift in the science of how we understand human nature. The old view that we are essentially self-interested creatures is being nudged firmly to one side by evidence that we are also homo empathicus, wired for empathy, social cooperation, and mutual aid...read more>>>...

Defining 'Telempathy'

Telempathy is a complete combination of telepathy and empathy. That is, The power to receive and/or transmit emotions between individuals.  For example, if one was to feel anxiety from another empathically, while at the same time telepathically conversing with the person on why they are feeling that way, they can work out what the persons' needs are emotionally, and transmit that emotion. In this case the emotion may be "calm" or "peace". To be an effective healer of any sort, tel-empathy can take you directly to the source of the problem, so that true healing can occur. The Abusive Empath

An Empath is generally someone who is considered a people pleaser who excels in being a mediator and/or a counsellor. They are the people who always have a shoulder to lean on. They are the people that listen when you have problems. They are the people who care. But because they have this type of hypersensitivity toward other people's emotional states, there is also potential to abuse this trait. This is true because with this kind of emotional awareness comes the ability consciously manipulate it for personal gain.

Let's put this another way, as we introduce the Empath to you, often the person who has the capability and capacity to offer genuine empathy to others, can potentially hold the emotional well being or the emotional destruction of another person in the palm of their hands...read more>>>...
