Weapons of War On Our Streets: A Guide to the Militarization of America's Police

[Ammo.com]:The claim often heard from those attempting to pass more gun control legislation is that all they’re trying to do is get the “weapons of war off our streets,” but it’s simply untrue that “weapons of war” are available to the general public. You’d last about three minutes in a conventional war with an AR-15, even with one of the most aggressive builds you can get your hands on (that doesn’t mean it’s impossible for guerilla uprisings to defeat powerful enemies).

The truth is that the only people with “weapons of war” on America’s streets are, increasingly, the police.

Thanks primarily to the Pentagon's 1033 program which allows law enforcement agencies to get their hands on Department of Defense technology and the Bush-era War on Terror, American police have received a startling amount of heavy-duty, military-grade hardware. Between 1998 and 2014, the dollar value of military hardware sent to police departments skyrocketed from $9.4 million to $796.8 million.

And just as when "all you've got is a hammer, then everything looks like a nail", militarized police have become more willing to use their new weapons when carrying out law enforcement tasks. For example, the number of SWAT raids in the United States grew dramatically from about 3,000 in 1980, to a whopping 50,000 SWAT raids in 2014, according to The New Jim Crow by Michelle Alexander.

To say that the militarization of the police is nothing new is to ignore America’s recent history as well as the long-standing model of a peace officer. All Of My Favourites

I've been sifting through literally thousands of photographs taken in both Australia and the UK, in order to determine what are my best and favourite images.

This task is made really difficult when there are so many (Not using ego here) incredible photographs to choose from. Many of them are featured on A Light in The Darkness under numerous categories.

I have limited space in a blue display folder ... with approximately 76 spaces in clear display pockets. Its NOT BEEN EASY to decide. But I've managed to choose 76 prints from around 350 of the best printed off and put in a pile of hopefuls. A little like UK & Australia's Got Talent combined for bird photos, I've had to sift through pictures of the hopefuls and decide . But I keep uncovering dozens of others under my 'CATALOGUE' folder on my external back up drive ... but what's done is done. I now have a folder of high quality prints of my personal favourite bird photos to take to en expo as a sale pitch.

I've done the same for artwork.

I've also done the same for black and white & colour photography ....

It's been a difficult and momentous task ... but I now have four folders ready ...

And the fourth folder? It's high quality prints of my LIGHT OF TRUTH ORACLE 2ND EDITION artwork ... to do a sales pitch to an agent at a forthcoming expo ....

The Square Peg In The Round Hole Scenario

If you find yourself in the overlap between two scenes in your life right now, accept the strange sensation for what it is ... 

Moving from one scene, to a new scene, in the software program of a virtual reality existence, can be a frustrating experience. We are in a new place, a new town ... yet, we are still reacting to the stimuli from the old scene.

The transition from one to the other can take time. Its best to sit tight and not let our frustrations get out of control. We describe these periods in our life, as 'the end of one script, and the commencement of a new script' ... and what we experience in these instances is the sensation of travelling across the splicing between the two separate pieces of the tape.

It is a 'sit tight, its only lupendo, it will soon pass' moment in our virtual life as the old thought processes try to make the new environment, we find ourselves in, fit the stimuli from the last. The 'square peg in the round hole' scenario ....

Its good to know that this state of frustration will not last forever. It passes as quickly as it arrives, and the required stimuli for the new scene fall into place. Virtual life runs more smoothly ... and we can get into the flow of virtual living once more ....

"Locked Within The Spinning Top Of Their Inflated Egos" - A View On The Current State Of The Psychics

In many instances the 'Psychic Industry' has become like a school yard, with all the giggling students showing off their latest oracle cards and pretty banners, as if they were the latest IPhone or a packet of sought after Pokemon cards!

The giggling students are playing with a ticking time bomb that is going to explode in their faces. Psychic awareness is not a toy, or a game, or something to let their inflated egos control. 

It is embarrassing to watch the frolics of these completely inexperienced and clueless novices attempt to make a professional career out of such a dangerous art. Its dangerous for them fooling themselves that they are something they are not - 95% call themselves mediums when they clearly have no idea what it is they claim to have. It is more dangerous for the naive and gullible people that go to see them. The responsibility of working with a human soul is not something to take lightly.

It is also pitiful to hear the constant claims of working with 'angels, guides and ascended masters'. The likelihood of any of these claims being the real deal are less than 5%. Those that readily make these claims are, in truth, highly deluded. They are deluding themselves and misleading the people who pass money into their hands. If the giggling students were to stop and think, and manage to switch off their inflated egos for a while, and listened to what they had been saying - they would realise just how crazy the industry is they are creating.

If they knew what they were really communicating with; that is playing mind games with them; they would be reduced to whimpering blobs in a mental ward. The forces are certainly not angelic and benevolent; that is what the inexperienced student wishes to be connecting to, and that is what the forces are letting them believe they are connecting to. The mind of an inexperienced magician is so easy to fool.

It is chaos and madness in its current form. They are fooling themselves that they are growing spiritually using 'New Age' hocus pocus that has little truth within it. They read the books, they surf the web and they attend the courses, and become little more than sheep following each other. None of them are authentic, as they have become carbon copies of those who created the New Age beliefs in the first place. The giggling students will only become authentic when they think for themselves, and devise their own magical systems and use their own methods to work with the otherworlds. Until then they will remain locked within the spinning top of their inflated egos. 

Service to the Otherworlds only truly begins when the ego is controlled, the student becomes totally selfless and is not attempting to draw any attention to themselves. The student undertakes their work in obscurity ... how many heart doctors do you see announcing on Facebook every time they save a life? The heart doctor gets on with their job without drawing unnecessary attention to themselves. That is how it should be with the obscure 'psychic' ... live in obscurity, unknown, working with the otherworlds.  Yet, when you read the Facebook pages of so many of the giggling Psychic Students, the pages are full of all the wonderful messages and deeds they've undertaken. Its not necessary. It should come with the territory. Too many of them try to earn brownie points against each other by claiming the most incredible proof or connections. Its an uncontrolled ego at work; it also proves they are not really ready for the work they undertake. - C.L

A Long Overdue Rest

Matthew James has been taking a well earned rest from 'connections with the other side' in recent weeks. He still has the occasional client ... but he made the wise decision to recharge his batteries after an unerring 33 years of service to the other dimensions. A service which has been punctuated with previous rest periods ... but this time around he is giving himself time for his own soul development, his own quantum leaping, his own growth. He's giving himself time to absorb all the energies which have been generated in the years of service he's given.

He needs time to assess his own path ... his own soul. He needs to listen to the other worlds for himself for a change. He's always used his direct thought ability for the service of others, but rarely for himself.

So for once he's taken a time out, he's temporarily hung his boots up and is taking a rest. He's involved in projects, yes, but not on the magnitude that he was. Its pastures new with a lucky few being chosen .. he is being selective who he now connects for, and he now works in a totally different way ...

He has deserved this long overdue rest!

Healthy Dietary Additions to Cancer Treatment

A healthy diet can reduce risk and improve outcome with many diseases, including cancer. In addition, some nutrients and types of food can help fight cancer specifically. Below are a few of the best food and dietary practices for cancer patients who want to optimize their energy levels and chances of recovery.

Stick to Healthy Fats
Eating healthy fats can keep the immune system strong, helping the body to stay protected against illness. Polyunsaturated fats, such as olive oil, canola oil and omega-3 fatty acids, found mainly in fish, are known to boost the immune system and help fight inflammation. To increase the consumption of these healthy fats, many cancer patients eat fish and snack on seeds and nuts regularly.

Eat More Mushrooms
Edible mushrooms of all kinds contain polysaccharides, immune-boosting substances that help combat illness. Lentinan polysaccharide, found in shiitake mushrooms, is a strong restorer of T-lymphocytes in patients fighting cancer. Although shiitake mushrooms are commonly associated with ethnic Asian dishes, their savory flavor makes a tasty addition to many classic American dishes as well.

Several studies have found amazing benefits of mushrooms for cancer patients. For example, a Chinese study found that women who ate only a third of an ounce of fresh mushrooms each day were about two-thirds less likely to develop cancer compared to those who ate none. Women who ate dried mushrooms saw a 50 percent reduction in cancer risk. The study also found that women who regularly ate mushrooms and drank green tea had an amazing 90 percent reduction in cancer risk.

Choose Brightly Colored Produce
By now, most people know that antioxidant consumption is associated with lower risk of developing many health problems, including mesothelioma and other types of cancer. It can be difficult, however, to remember which foods are highest in antioxidants. A simple way to eat healthfully is to choose the fruits and vegetables with bright colors. These choices are often richest in powerful flavonoids with strong antioxidant effects. For example, brightly colored purple and red berries, such as blueberries, cherries and strawberries, are rich in anthocyanins, polyphenols that help prevent cancer growth. Turmeric, a yellow spice, is rich in the flavonoid curcumin, a potent cancer fighter. Asian research has shown curcumin to be a potentially valuable part of nutrition for mesothelioma recovery. Apples contain high levels of quercetin, which can stop the growth of cancer cells. Finally, red-fleshed fruits and vegetables, such as red tomatoes, pink grapefruit and watermelon, contain large amounts of lycopene, which helps fight prostate cancer.

Drink Plenty of Water
Research has shown that getting enough water can cut risks of colon cancer and bladder cancer by about half as well as lower breast cancer risk significantly. In addition to drinking lots of water, patients can also eat fresh fruits and vegetables to maintain hydration and eliminate toxins from chemotherapy throughout treatment.

By eating a balanced diet, drinking plenty of water and getting enough exercise, patients can maintain their energy and mood and improve their chances of recovery during cancer treatment. Patients can also reduce their risk of relapse by maintaining these healthy practices during remission.

Voices In Your Head .... Is The State Talking To You?

We are locked into this frequency band (our point of attention is focused) by the mind-body biological computer which is a receiver-transmitter and decoder of information that constructs a perceived – perceived – reality. The global cabal of families that answer to their non-human masters know all this and can therefore manipulate almost at will those who don’t know all this – the mass of humanity.

The idea is to ‘hack’ into the receiver-transmitter processes of the human body-mind so that we decode (perceive) a sense of reality about self and the world that suits their agenda for mass human control. This is done through the reality-construct that I call the Saturn-Moon Matrix in the new book, Remember Who You Are.

This is mass human perception-control on a mega scale, but the same principle applies to the technology used on earth to implant fake perceptions individually and collectively. The common theme of all levels of technological mind manipulation is to use a form of ‘carrier-wave’ to deliver ‘information’ on the frequencies within which the human DNA, brain and genetic structure operate.

Radio transmitters broadcast information on carrier waves of particular frequencies and the radio decodes that information into the words that we hear when we tune to a station. In the same way, it is possible to transmit information on the frequency range of human DNA and brainwave activity which the body then decodes into words, thoughts or emotional states. (David Icke)

When Conspiracy Theories Turn out to be True

All too often, people dismiss conspiracy theorists as crazy, a little paranoid, or a few cards short of a deck. And to be fair, many conspiracy theories can be a little whacky. From the world governed by lizard men, to Paul McCartney having died twenty years ago and replaced by a doppelganger, it’s no wonder, conspiracy theorists get a bad name. All too often, the term conspiracy theorist conjures up images of Internet nerds, sitting on a leather sofa eating potato chips with little else to do but come up with crazy ideas, or people who are just plain paranoid. But not all conspiracy theorists are a hamburger short of a Happy Meal, and not all conspiracies are that farfetched. In fact, there have been plenty of examples of conspiracy theories that the mainstream population has dismissed as paranoid fantasies, which have actually turned out to be true.


Since Machiavelli wrote his adage to Realpolitik, The Prince, conspiracies have played an integral part of politics. Telling people what it is believed they want to know, rather than the truth, has been a guiding principle of all sorts of political regimes, from the authoritarian states of Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia, to the so-called free democracies of the United States and Western Europe. And it is in these more democratic nations where conspiracy theories have flourished, and many of which have often been found to have at least some semblance of truth behind them:

Manhattan Project

In essence, a conspiracy is just a secret, but it is the scale of these secrets and the number of people involved in keeping them that truly elevates a secret to the level of conspiracy theory. And on this premise, there has never been a bigger conspiracy that that of the Manhattan Project. The Manhattan Project, the codename for the atomic bomb development and testing program, was perhaps the largest conspiracy ever concocted by the United States. Between 1942 and 1946, more than 130,000 people were involved in the project, from scientists such as Robert Oppenheimer, to regular army personnel, radio operators and even taxi drivers, all sworn to government secrecy. The conspiracy lasted for an amazing 25 years without the media and mainstream public knowing a thing about it. Of course, the reason for secrecy was clear. With Nazi Germany building its own atomic weaponry during WWII, then Soviet Russia during the Cold War, the powers that be didn’t want their own plans getting out. However, with so many people able to keep the secret for so long, the Manhattan Project serves as reminder that even the largest scale of conspiracy theory could have some basis in truth.

A story straight from the pages of a political thriller, the Watergate scandal rocked American politics and serves as a sobering reminder that even the leader of the free world is susceptible to keeping the odd secret from the people. The Watergate scandal emanated from a break in at the Watergate Hotel in Washington DC during 1972, when the Democratic National Committee was using the hotel as their headquarters. After the arrest of five men in connection to the break-in, the FBI discovered the burglars were in receipt of payments that came from a Republican fundraising group for the re-election for President Nixon. Further investigations discovered that Nixon had recorded several telephone conversations, which not only provided evidence that he knew about the break-in, but also had tried to cover it up. The scandal ultimately led to his resignation.

The Iran-Contra Affair

Another shady political conspiracy also involving the Republicans, this time under President Reagan’s administration. What started out as an altruistic deal to release US hostages held by Iranian terrorists during the 1980’s, led to the United States executive eventually selling arms to Iran in exchange for the hostages’ release. This was bad enough, but the profits from the sale were then siphoned off to support Nicaraguan rebels, known as the Contras, in an attempt to overthrow the Nicaraguan government, a violation of International law. Congress finally uncovered the conspiracy in 1987, although no evidence ever emerged that President Reagan knew anything about the diversion of funds to the Nicaraguan rebels, plenty of people in his administration certainly did know.

What’s the Deal With Underground Bases?

One of the most hotly contested topics in ufology is the issue of underground bases. These mysterious complexes are the subject of great rumour and evidence for them is scarce. Yet, if true, do they point to a sinister plan by the US government in particular, to create a safe haven should global catastrophe occur? Or is the truth more sinister still? So what are the rumours, and are there any hard facts to back them up?

Bases Exist

We know that military underground facilities exist, for certain, and it is no secret. During WW2 and the Cold War literally hundreds of complexes were built which were used for key personnel. In some cases these were used, others remained hidden for years – no need for cheap hotel insurance here, these places were under the radar, and kept that way. The bases in the UK have been extensively researched, catalogued, and in some cases visited, by a fascinating and dedicated group called Subterranea Britannica. The extent of the complexes and their sophistication is sometimes surprising.

Vast Tunnel Complexes

It is not much of a leap of imagination to suppose that the underground bases built today are far more extensive than those of the past, as rumour suggests. Advances in drilling and mining mean that cutting and boring tools are many times more sophisticated and powerful. Bases in the US are said to run for miles, both downwards and cross-country, connected together by a network of railway lines. Fantastic? Possibly. One problem that is often raised as an argument against such an engineering project is what on earth would have happened to the debris from the excavation. Conspiracy theorists believe the answer to this lies in a long forgotten patent for nuclear boring devices, which heats rock to such a high temperature it melts and evaporates, leaving tunnels with glass-like, mirror smooth walls. Witnesses have described just such smooth sided tunnels, and the leading Dulce researcher has evidence that thermo-nuclear tunneling devices do indeed exist.

Dulce, New Mexico

The most famous witness to US underground bases was a man called Phil Schneider. He came forward shortly before his death, before being silenced by another bizarre ‘suicide’. He predicted that he would be silenced by government agents, and the circumstances of his death were indeed bizarre. His widow confirms that immediately after his death government agents raided their house and took away quantities of documents and photographs. Phil Schneider may have had his detractors, but he was in no doubt that the US shadow government were using the underground base at Dulce as a research facility, where they worked with alien intelligences on various military projects. Others have testified that there are genetic experiments going on in the base at Dulce.

Grotesque Experiments

One witness who worked at Dulce describes there being seven underground levels to the base, each one with higher and higher security clearance necessary to gain access. Most workers could only access down to level two. Beyond that anyone wanting to access what was housed there was stripped, weighed and had their weight printed on a security pass. If their weight on leaving did not match exactly, alarms were triggered. The lowest level, with the highest security, was dubbed ‘Nightmare Hall’, reserved for the most terrifying experiments. Human/animal hybrids were said to be created in experiments on this level.

UFO Hunters Silenced

One of the most interesting documentaries on this subject is by the UFO Hunters team in America – the head of MUFON, Bill Birnes, an assistant and a sceptic set off to investigate the claims, with some startling results. Meeting researchers who have spent years investigating the rumours, and witnesses they clearly touched a nerve. After making a link between the base and the high number of cattle mutilations in the area they met a man who had witnessed and photographed an implanted animal/human hybrid. The photographs were shown on the show. Despite being one of the most successful shows on the network, with extremely high viewing figures, UFO Hunters was pulled after this episode. Later Bill Birnes claimed that it was evidence shown in the Underground Bases episode of UFO Hunters that caused the powers that be to get nervous.

Mystery Remains

The mystery of the underground bases, which are said to criss-cross the States, will probably never be known, due to the extreme level of secrecy attached to the issue. Is it inconceivable that governments are working with aliens on top secret experiments away from prying eyes? As always, you decide.

THE FOUR MEDIUMS LIVE - Feedback

Thank you so much for such an amazing show Suzie Price, Suzy Cherub, Matthew James and especially Robbie Nacson for standing in at the last moment. It was an amazing high energy night that we totally loved. They did such an outstanding job, they somehow managed to give personal messages to every single person in that enormous audience. During the evening there was a lot of laughter and quite a few tears. The audience was left in no doubt that these psychics were the real deal. I cannot imagine a more enjoyable or better value event ever.
