432 hz | SCHUMANN RESONANCE | 1 HOUR MEDITATIVE FREQUENCY

The heartbeat of the Earth is better known as the Schumann resonance and is named after physicist Winfried Otto Schumann, who mathematically documented Mother Earths frequency in 1952. The most elemental state of vibration is that of sound. Everything has an optimum range of vibration (frequency), and that rate is called resonance.

When we are in resonance, we are balanced. Every organ and every cell in our precious body absorbs and emits sound with particular optimum resonate frequency. 432hz and 528hz tuned sounds create resonance in our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual body. This frequency can help to align the overself while aiding astral projections.

If the two hemispheres of our brain are synchronized with each other – “unlocked and unused” potential and resources in our subconscious mind (connected to the right hemisphere) becomes awakened in this synchronization. All brain cell dendrites then operate with the maximum information flow possible between both hemispheres. Scientists call this “whole brain synchronization” and when achieved, your brain experiences extremely beneficial changes in hemispheric blood flow and chemistry.

Schumann's Resonance

Schumann's Resonance is the frequency of the magnetic field that surrounds the earth. Listening to this frequency stimulates the natural production of hormones that rejuvenate cells and keep the body young. The electric noise of cities drowns out Schmann's Resonance, making people feel out of touch. Notice that you feel better far out in nature? Some say it's not just the fresh air, it's the body's ability to be in tune with this frequency. Very relaxing, in any case.

Schumann Resonance

Sound can "re-sound" or resonate when the source waves are added constructively to the sound bouncing back and forth inside a resonant chamber. In other words, when we are in an acoustically active environment, one with a high degree of "echo," we can amplify the sound by making more sound that constructively adds to the echo.

In the simplest terms, the Schumann Resonance is the resonance of low frequency electromagnetic waves bouncing around in the earth, with the earth being the active "resonant chamber."

The earth is surrounded by a layer of charged particles called the ionosphere. This layer of active charged particles is able to reflect low frequency electromagnetic radiation in a similar way as that of a mirror which is able to reflect light. Electromagnetic radiation is like radio waves or light. It travels at close to the speed of light, 300,000,000 m/s.

The ionosphere's property of reflecting radio waves is what enables you to tune in to radio stations around the world. If the ionosphere did not reflect radio waves as it doesn't reflect light, we would not be able to tune in a distant radio station because the signal would have gone out into space. This is exactly what happens with high frequency electromagnetic radiation like light. It is what allows us to see stars "through" the ionosphere.

The earth's surface is also conductive and, therefore, also reflects low frequency radiation. It is in this way that radio station signals from around the world reflect back and forth between the ionosphere and the surface.

So, both the earth's surface and the ionosphere are conductive surfaces able to reflect low frequency electromagnetic radiation. Together they create a resonant cavity. This cavity then is what makes the earth into a "resonant chamber" for electromagnetic radiation.

The earth is approximately 6,371 km in diameter or 40,030 km in circumference. An electromagnetic or radio signal travels at close to the speed of light. It, therefore, takes close to 0.1334 seconds to travel around the earth. This time would correlate with about 7.49 Hz. Notice that this is less than the 7.83 Hz that is commonly quoted. If you take into account that the ionosphere is approximately 300 km up and adjust the radius by 150 km, the calculation results in a round trip taking 0.136 seconds, which correlates to a frequency of approximately 7.32 Hz.

The 7.83 Hz is not an exact, specific frequency, but the "average" peak frequency of the resonance. It is necessary to average the Schumann frequencies over long periods of time, since the resonant peak is not particularly distinct and it changes with environmental conditions. This is the reason there are many stations like the one at Stanford that measures the frequency daily.

It is also interesting to note that 7.83 isn't the only resonant frequency. Other "harmonic" frequencies are also resonant, including approximately 14, 20, 26, 32, 37, and 42 Hz etc.

Rhythmic Sound & The Brain

Studies have shown that vibrations from rhythmic sounds have a profound effect on brain activity. In shamanic traditions, drums were used in periodic rhythm to transport the shaman into other realms of reality. The vibrations from this constant rhythm affected the brain in a very specific manner, allowing the shaman to achieve an altered state of mind and journey out of his or her body .

Brain pattern studies conducted by researcher Melinda Maxfield into the (SSC) Shamanic State of Consciousness found that the steady rhythmic beat of the drum struck four and one half times per second was the key to transporting a shaman into the deepest part of his shamanic state of consciousness. It is no coincidence that 4.5 beats, or cycles per second corresponds to the trance like state of theta brain wave activity. In direct correlation, we see similar effects brought on by the constant and rhythmic drone of Tibetan Buddhist chants, which transport the monks and even other listeners into realms of blissful meditation.

The gentle pulsating rhythms (binaural beat) of our brain synchronization tapes act in a similar fashion, yet because the frequencies are computer generated, they are precise, consistent and can be targeted to induce highly specific and desired brain states. Much like tuning a radio to get a particular station, our brain synchronization tapes can induce a variety of brain states. Effecting Alertness, Concentration, Focus & Cognition Relaxation, Visualization, & Creativity Intuition, Memory, Meditation Vivid Visual Imagery Deep Sleep, Detached Awareness

There are frequencies/rhythms which when dominant in the brain correlate with a specific state of mind. There are generally 4 groupings of brain waves:

1. Beta waves range between 13-40 HZ. The beta state is associated with peak concentration, heightened alertness and visual acuity. Nobel Prize Winner, Sir Francis Crick and other scientists believe that the 40HZ beta frequency used on many Brain Sync tapes may be key to the act of cognition.

2. Alpha waves range between 7-12 HZ. This is a place of deep relaxation, but not quite meditation. In Alpha, we begin to access the wealth of creativity that lies just below our conscious awareness - it is the gateway, the entry point that leads into deeper states of consciousness. Alpha is also the home of the window frequency known as the Schumann Resonance, which is the resonant frequency of the earth's electromagnetic field.

3. Theta waves range between 4-7 HZ. Theta is one of the more elusive and extraordinary realms we can explore. It is also known as the twilight state which we normally only experience fleetingly as we rise up out of the depths of delta upon waking, or drifting off to sleep. In theta we are in a waking dream, vivid imagery flashes before the mind's eye and we are receptive to information beyond our normal conscious awareness. During the Theta state many find they are capable of comprehending advanced concepts and relationships that become incomprehensible when returning to Alpha or Beta states. Theta has also been identified as the gateway to learning and memory. Theta meditation increases creativity, enhances learning, reduces stress and awakens intuition and other extrasensory perception skills. When the brain is in Theta it appears to balance sodium/potassium ratios which are responsible for the transport of chemicals through brain cell membranes. This appears to play a role in rejuvenating the fatigued brain.

4. Delta waves range between 0-4 HZ. Delta is associated with deep sleep. In addition, certain frequencies in the delta range trigger the release of Growth Hormone beneficial for healing and regeneration. This is why sleep, deep restorative sleep is so essential to the healing process.

The Schumann Resonance

The Schumann Resonance which is constant at 7.83 Hz and is calculated from the time it takes for an electromagnetic signal to travel once around the earth, bouncing off the ionosphere as it goes....

The ideas that this frequency is shifting up to approx 13 Hz is very much a misnomer, perpetrated by the spiritual community in the best of intentions but not scientifically correct, I do have a foot in both camps so like to check up on what is being discussed.

There are harmonics of the Schumann Resonance which follow normal musical intervals of the octave, fifth, fourth and third which may be easily calculated. There is another frequency of 40 Hz which has been measured emanating from deep down in the earth's crust which is said to originate from a crystalline core but much is still speculation as we do not have the technology to prove it !
