How the Australian government uses census forms to manipulate the public

Using the example of the Australian census form, Paul Collits demonstrates how governments manipulate the perception of what is considered normal in societies.

He uses the example of the questions relating to religion and sexuality, which are designed to manipulate the answers people give so the census results have the desired outcome to show that Christian societies are changing.

One thing to say about those trying fundamentally to change (what is left of) our society is that they believe in total victory. Another is that they know how to execute. A third is that they never, ever give up. Down to the last detail.

Whether we think of them simply – often, too simply – as leftists, or as Marxists, or as progressives, or globalists, or sexual liberationists, or feminists, or homosexualists, or climate cookers, or Islamists, it is clear that they work separately and together in myriad alliances to achieve their objectives.

And one shared objective is the de-Christianisation of the West. Another is the forced affirmation of homosexuality. As if we don’t get enough of that in our TV crime dramas. Night after night. You would think that every street in every suburb is filled, wall-to-wall, with queers.

Tonight is census night in Australia. A five-yearly cause of excitement for demographers and a cause of extreme tedium for the rest of us. Another interaction with that uniquely modern punishment … the online “form.” It shouldn’t be.

A seemingly non-ideological exercise and a non-political one. It is just about collecting information to help governments and others to provide “better service.” Believe that, believe anything....<<<Read More>>>...

New evidence reveals a 25,000-year-old center of magic, healing and ritual in Australia

For at least 25,000 years, people entered Cloggs Cave carrying plants.

They did not appear to bring the grasses solely for food, warmth or ordinary domestic work. Instead, new microscopic evidence suggests that whole plants were deliberately gathered, transported into the secluded cave and burned in repeated, low-temperature fires — activities that strengthen the interpretation of Cloggs Cave as a place reserved for ritual specialists, healing practices and spiritual power.

Located in GunaiKurnai Country in southeastern Australia, Cloggs Cave preserves one of the continent's longest archaeological records of relationships between people and plants. A new study published in Frontiers in Environmental Archaeology examined phytoliths — microscopic silica structures formed inside plants — preserved in deposits spanning approximately 25,000 years.

The results point toward something far more complex than a shelter where people simply cooked, slept or sought protection from the weather....<<<Read More>>>...

A warning to Australians: Look what’s happened in the UK; policing “hate speech” online does not stop criminal acts

While the Australian government is attempting to rush through the “hate crime” bill, the UK serves as an example of how this bill will morph into something other than what politicians claim it is intended for.

While UK police use time and resources to arrest thousands every year for perceived online “hate speech,” the very real threat from Islamic extremists is ignored.

In the video below, Sky News host Peta Credlin interviews retired UK police officer Julian Foulkes, who warns Australians about speech being labelled as a “hate crime” using the example of the attack on free speech in the UK.

“The UK government’s crackdown on hate speech is reportedly seeing as many as 30 arrests a day,” Credlin said. “The UK is clearly the canary in the coalmine here.”

Referring to the “hate crime” bill that is being rushed through the Australian Parliament, Foulkes said: “Be very careful as to what you vote for, what you want, because this will morph into something much worse....<<<Read More>>>...

Australia’s proposed “hate crime” bill is not only an attack on free speech; it opens the door to belief-based punishment

"Everybody needs to stand against this. The Australian government is rushing through a new ‘hate-crime’ bill which criminalises association rather than conduct and applies terrorism-law logic to political activism, protesters and online community groups.”—Blair Cotrell on Gab

The “hate crime” bill that is being rushed through by the Australian government is officially called the ‘Combatting Antisemitism, Hate and Extremism Bill’. It is a sweeping piece of legislation introduced in response to the December Bondi Beach attack, so it is claimed.

The Bill aims to crack down on “hate speech,” particularly from religious or spiritual leaders (“hate preachers”), with a maximum penalty of 12 years in prison for inciting violence or promoting racial hatred.

“The ban on hate symbols will be strengthened, including by requiring a person caught displaying a symbol to prove that it was legitimate – a reversal of the burden of proof requiring prosecutors to prove a crime occurred,” The Sydney Morning Herald reports.

Adding, “Changes to migration law will allow the immigration minister to refuse or cancel visas if a person has associated with hate groups or made hateful comments, including online.”...<<<Read More>>>...

Google and Microsoft to demand “age verification” from Australians

Starting 27 December 2025, Australians using internet search engines such as Google and Microsoft Bing while logged in will be required to verify their age through digital identity checks, including methods such as photo ID, facial recognition or digital ID linking.

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported in July that Google and Microsoft will be required to implement some form of age-assurance technology by 27 December. If the companies fail to comply, they could face fines of up to nearly AUS$50 million per breach.

This requirement is part of new industry codes registered by the Australian eSafety Commissioner and applies only to users who are signed into their accounts.

These industry codes are not formal legislation as they do not go through Parliament. Instead, The Guardian said, they’re developed by the technology industry and registered by the eSafety commissioner in a process called co-regulation. By bypassing the Parliamentary process, these industry codes can give an enormous amount of power to an unelected official, the eSafety commissioner.

In the meantime, writers are leaving Substack in response to similar censorship and “age verification” rules implemented on the platform earlier this month....<<<Read More>>>...

Climate madness: Australian Human Rights Commission demands that speech about climate change be censored

The Australian Human Rights Commission (“AHRC”) has recently submitted to a Senate inquiry that regulation is necessary to stop “misinformation” and “false narratives” about climate change.

The AHRC wants to prevent the spread of climate-related “misinformation,” citing the need to protect the human right to a healthy environment. This will lead to censorship of legitimate debate and views that do not align with the official narrative, and the removal of a fundamental human right – free speech.

A Senate inquiry run by the Greens is receiving lots of demands for censorship of climate sceptics. But the Australian Human Rights Commission (“AHRC”) submission really stands out. These reasonable climate change opinions could be silenced if the Human Rights Commission outlaws “misinformation.”

The powerful Australian Human Rights Commission is the latest in a long list of climate change preachers that believe you and I are too stupid to figure out what misinformation is, writes James Bolt...<<<Read More>>>...

Australian Senate rejects age verification for search engine users in surprise bipartisan push

An urgent motion to block the rollout of mandatory age verification for search engine users has passed Australia's Senate with overwhelming cross-party support.

The motion, spearheaded by United Australia Party Senator Ralph Babet, stems from a recommendation by the federal eSafety Commissioner, who in early July urged the government to consider age verification requirements for users signed into search engines like Google and Bing. Verification methods under discussion included ID checks, biometric scanning, credit card authentication, parental vouching, AI-powered estimations or third-party verification services, raising immediate red flags for privacy advocates.

In a speech to the Senate on July 29, Babet acknowledged the importance of child safety but warned that the proposed measures posed a fundamental threat to Australians' civil liberties.

"Let me say from the outset that protecting children online is a moral imperative," he said. "Measures like safe-search filters for minors, better parental controls and the restriction of harmful content are of course welcome, but let's not kid ourselves – this is not about protecting children, it is about building a surveillance infrastructure under the cover of safety."...<<<Read More>>>....

Australia: They use mass immigration to create a housing crisis, which they use to push more people into renting – “You will own nothing”

In the following essay, Alison Bevege details how the housing crisis in Australia has been deliberately created using mass immigration.

As housing becomes unaffordable for native Australians, large corporations swoop in to “save the day” by constructing build-to-rent tower blocks. In the vein of WEF’s “you will own nothing,” build-to-rent homes create permanent renters. “They want private property ownership phased out in favour of build-to-rent,” Bevege writes.

When the housing crisis seems to be waning, the cycle begins again. The corporations which are building properties for rent lobby the government to increase migration, creating a housing crisis, which the lobbyists then use to remove more private ownership of property by building properties to rent. Using immigration, they have found a way to create a permanent crisis for which their solution, so they will tell you, is required.

The Australian government has announced that it wants to import 13.5 million migrants by 2065, averaging 235,000 additional migrants each year. That’s enough immigrants per year to keep the housing crisis scam going for the next 40 years.

This scam is not only affecting Australians; it is a global affair. The same scam is operating in the UK and the US, and some of the corporations involved are Canadian....<<<Read More>>>...

Why $3.2million in unpaid Covid fines could soon be abolished one Aussie state

A state MP has joined growing calls for the Queensland government to ditch millions in unpaid fines issued during Covid and refund those who paid the infringement.

The state’s Penalties Enforcement Registry is chasing a whopping $3.2million debt from 2,075 outstanding Covid-19 infringement notices dating back to the start of the pandemic almost five years ago.

It comes after the New South Wales Commissioner of Fines Administration announced last month that its government would withdraw outstanding Covid-19-related penalties, following ‘legal representations’....<<<Read More>>>...

Australian Lab Loses Hundreds of Deadly Virus Samples

In 2021, a freezer malfunctioned at a public health virology lab in Queensland, Australia. This incident led to the hurried relocation of hundreds of vials containing deadly viruses to another storage chamber. However, the transfer was conducted hastily and without proper documentation.

By August 2023, authorities discovered that the whereabouts of many of these vials were unknown. Queensland’s Chief Health Officer, John Gerrard, revealed earlier this week that a total of 323 vials had been lost.

He stated that the vials “may have been removed from this secure storage facility and are now lost or otherwise unaccounted for.”

The missing vials include nearly 100 samples of the Hendra virus, two of hantavirus, and 223 of lyssavirus—each posing significant risks to human health....<<<Read More>>>...

Grid not-fit-for-purpose: On a warm day, Crazy Australia paid $3.5m to industry to *stop* working

Last Wednesday, during the near-miss of a blackout in Sydney, the AEMO spent $3,558,000 on "demand reduction" which means they paid productive industries to stop working to save the grid from a blackout. Translated: poor electricity users in New South Wales paid $3.5 million to businesses to do nothing, because the grid didn't have enough energy, and the people in charge really didn't want any embarrassing blackouts so close to an election.

So renewables are wonderful, clean and cheap but your workers, assets and capital will sometimes need to sit around and do nothing so we can stop some storms in the 22nd century.
