Day 13

Australian Bush Fires Crisis
There is something sinister afoot at the moment. Bit by bit, the new's reports relating to the arson created bush fires are disappearing on social media and the internet. Some agency out there is wanting the truth to be suppressed. They are starting to hide what really happened, and is happening.

No prizes for guessing what the 'official story' will evolve into ... climate change caused the bush fires. It will go down in history as evidence that climate change is really happening; look how it burnt Australia.

The 'official story' driven by all those who will benefit from the Human Climate Change lie. The problem is, however, the countless thousands who know that serial arsonists were at work, kick starting the blazes!

In other news, the smoke from the bush fires has gone beyond New Zealand and South America. It is estimated the smoke will come back to Australia at some point. That's very worrying.

Efforts are now being made to feed the wildlife trapped in areas where there is now little or no food available. We've featured a current news story that relates to this in tonight's posts.

There is absolute sadness and upset, when looking at the news stories that show the hundreds and hundreds of animal corpses that are being found all over the burnt bush areas. It is heartbreaking.

The Harry & Megan 'Crisis'
As we expected, this cover story has become the main headline news across the globe. It is a distraction to hide something else that is going on. Wonder if it is hiding in part the Weinstein rape trial, which is going on in the States? There is still the matter of the fake impeachment of POTUS. Though apparently Nancy Pelosi has now relented and will send the impeachment articles to the Senate later this week. We think it's time to get the popcorn out for that!

The Iran Crisis
New evidence has emerged regarding the Ukranian commercial jet which was shot down by Iran. But its how truthful this evidence is ... and how much we should trust the MSM account of this tragedy.

There are still murmurs from inside Iran of planned revenge, but aside from that its started to go quiet on this matter. For now. There is a rebellion apparently going on against the Ayatollah etc, but how true it is???

Day 12

Australian Bush Fires Crisis
It's very good news to hear that there is 'significant' rainfall forecast in many of the areas of Australia still being ravaged by bushfires. However, there could well be a risk of further fires due to lightning strikes from thunderstorms.

So Australia is not out of the woods yet.

We've been hearing from a number of our friends who live in affected states in Australia over the weekend. There is an anticipated rise in mental health issues as a direct consequence of people on the NSW & Victoria coast and their desperate survival & escape from the fires there. The air quality in Canberra has been, and still is, horrendous. It is an upsetting sight, in many of the areas, to have to see all the burnt and charred animal & bird carcasses that are strewn everywhere.

We've also heard from someone who is a resident of the village of Mogo, in NSW, which had been reported in the MSM as being almost totally burnt down. This is not the case. The majority of shops have survived, and are now open for trading again. The devastation was not as bad, as had been portrayed. Thankfully. So, its a lesson to be learnt here, that not everything reported in the world's MSM is totally correct ... it must all be taken with a pinch of salt at times!

This also relates to the 'climate change has caused the bushfires' fake news that is circulating the globe, and spurring human sheepies into buying the climate change scam. That is exactly what the hidden hand wants everyone to do. Any climate change that is occurring is NOT caused by humans and their use of fossil fuels. Carbon Dioxide (CO2) cannot do the things the Pied Piper and the crazies that use her as their figurehead, claim.

The Pied Piper (Greta Thurnberg) is now being reported as slamming world leaders for still pursuing 'fossil fuels' and investing in it. WTF! Take away fossil fuels and mankind's civilisation will basically come to a grinding halt! Does she seriously think that wind turbines can make themselves? And can support the energy grids??? There is no viable public arena alternative, other than living in darkness with no food production or manufacturing industries or any world wide distribution of foods and foods. It would be the end of society as we know it.

The truth about fossil fuels ... that's another story to be told. Fossil fuels are in truth natural minerals that are abundant and not reliant on 'fossils' or 'metamorphism' to be produced. The term 'fossil fuel' was invented to mislead mankind into believing the minerals were in limited supply, when in truth we have an endless supply of the minerals.

We are all being misled by highly dangerous psychopaths, and need to finally realise the big lies they are telling us all.

The Harry & Meghan Crisis
Well, its all kicking off now isn't it! Prince Harry & The Royal Family being manipulated by a narcissistic two bit actress ... an attention seeking woman who has got her claws into Harry, and has been working on his weaknesses and his sensitivity. What concerns us is just who Harry is getting into his circle of influence ... Obama, the Clintons for example. There seems to be some much bigger game being played here. Its very worrying.

Tonight's Daily Mail headline reads 'Deeply Hurt' Queen gathers Royals for Megxit summit: Harry will be warned 'abdication' could take MONTHS in crunch talks - as couple's hopes to 'live in LA after Trump's Presidency ends' are revealed'.... sounds to be very US Democrat orientated ... very disturbing.

The Iran Crisis
Tonight's headline reads: 'Pro-government gunmen 'open fire on protesters in Iran': Activists post videos of bloodshed on the streets of Tehran - hours after President Trump warned Iran 'do NOT kill your protesters' amid fury at downing of airliner' ... this really is a worrying development, and it appears the Iran Crisis is going to form the 'fear backcloth' for a large part of 2020.

Madelaine McCann
Remember this situation? Back in 2007 she went missing and despite millions of pounds apparently spent on the search, she has yet to be found. Tonight's Daily Mail has this headline: 'Ex-detective Mark Williams-Thomas says Madeleine McCann case is 'unsolvable' because a crucial CCTV camera was switched off when she vanished'... the cloud making machine is still evident ...

This Day 11 of 365 ... smokescreens are being put in place ... and things in plain sight are being obscured by deceptions, basically.

Iran admits shooting down Ukrainian flight over Tehran in 'unintentional' missile launch

[David Icke]: The Ukrainian passenger jet that crashed after takeoff from Tehran was downed due to "human error" after it flew too close to a military site and triggered a missile launch amid a standoff with the US, the Iranian Army said.

The Army General Staff stressed that the tragic mistake was made amid the flare-up of tensions with Washington. The nation's air defenses were placed on alert and ready to "respond to possible threats of the highest level," after US President Donald Trump warned that the Pentagon would strike targets on Iranian soil if US citizens or assets were attacked by Iran.

On Wednesday, the Iranian Army fired a volley of ballistic missiles at two bases in Iraq that house American troops. It was a retaliation in response to a US drone strike, which killed top Iranian military chief Qassem Soleimani at Baghdad's airport.

For several hours after the missile attacks, the army was detecting increased activity of US warplanes around the country and received alerts of possible airstrikes on "strategic sites" across Iran, the General Staff said.

The Kiev-bound Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752, which took off from Tehran's airport the same day, was approaching "an important military site" of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), while traveling at the altitude of a "hostile flight," the statement noted...<<<Read The Full Article Here>>>...

Day 10

R.I.P Neil Peart
I read the sad news a couple hours ago that the drummer of one of my favourite bands, Rush, has died from brain cancer earlier today. Neil Peart was one of the most incredible drummers; Rush one of the most amazing bands. His passing is really sad news.

Australian Bush Fires Crisis
Some day soon we are going to be able to report that all the bush fires are out in Australia. But that is sadly not the case today.

The fires still burn. Animals still perish. Politicians are still clueless as to how to put the fires out. There is still the argument that its climate change not arsonists that have claimed it; except someone is now saying that even though there is evidence of arsonists, its still climate change that has contributed to it.

It's a total disaster. A humanitarian and ecological disaster of a proportion not seen in recent human history. However, with the way history is rewritten and evidence of the earth's past hidden, its impossible to tell if something like this has happened before in the past. Either as a natural disaster, or as a deliberate human action.

Mankind is herded, has always been herded, by unseen presences; manipulated by electrical beings in an electrical realm. Mankind itself is nothing more than an electronic avatar; an artificial intelligence which has a universal consciousness connected to it. This universal consciousness is then able to interact with this electronic realm via the A.I avatar.

WE were never meant to have our own influence, or our own awareness, interrupting the software programmed interactions our electronic 'souls' were having. We, the spirit, were meant to observe and learn. Somewhere along the lines our awareness began interfering with the game.

And now WE are in this mess. Trapped. Alone. Blind. All local memories of what we are erased. Its a mess as there are clearly presences that know what we are and what they are. And they are manipulating us because of that knowledge.

The Iran Crisis
...and that conveniently leads to the Iran issue. The Ukranian Plane crash. The US and Canada are unofficially adamant it was shot down by Iranian missiles. Iran are adamant it wasn't. Who is telling the truth? There is every chance it was shot down by missiles, but by a black ops operation made to look like it was Iran. This type of thing has been going on for decades ... to force home excuses for conflicts.

A full scale war is on the drawing board, sadly. It always has been ...

Prince Harry & Megan Markle
And serving up a perfect distraction is the empathic prince and his narcissistic princess, the latter throwing a tantrum and going back to Canada. Harry is due to fly out to her once he's sorted issues with his grandmother, The Queen. Its most surely a developing story to take the MSM's attention away from Iran and other worrying issues ...

This day 10 of 365 ...

‘Psychological warfare’: Iran dares Canada & others to show ‘intelligence’ they used to accuse Tehran of downing Ukrainian jet

[David Icke]: Tehran has dismissed claims that the crashed Ukrainian Boeing 737 was hit by an Iranian missile as “psychological warfare,” calling on countries that lost citizens in the crash to send representatives to join its probe.

"All these reports are a psychological warfare against Iran,” government spokesman Ali Rabiei said on Thursday. “All those countries whose citizens were aboard the plane can send representatives and we urge Boeing to send its representative to join the process of investigating the black box.”

Foreign ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi has meanwhile called on Canadian PM Justin Trudeau to share the intelligence he has claimed to have from “multiple sources” that the plane was shot down by a surface-to-air missile....<<<Read The Full Article Here>>>....

Insights Into 2020

Day 9

Australian Bush Fires Crisis
It's still really hard to take that the bush fires are still raging in Australia. There appears to be a number of fires now turning towards Canberra - my previous home from 2008 - 2017. The ACT is on high alert, and everyone in the capital city will hold their breath. Canberra has been suffering really badly with the smoke from the NSW and Victoria fires drifting over the city and its suburbs.

The debate is currently raging between those who know so many of the fires were started by arsonists and those of the 'it is climate change that caused the fires, and anyone who blames arsonists is a conspiracy theorist' mentality. The latter are adamant they are correct and all the media stories are fake news. To them our message is clear 'whatever! Get real and realise the huge falsehood you are promoting'. There are literally dozens of people who've been arrested for causing the fires.

Again. The evidence speaks for itself. Australia has been deprived of its water by corrupt politicians and money greedy corporations. Both of what have bled Australia dry. Reservoirs are owned by other countries and the water out of bounds for the Aussies.

The aquifer (Underground layers of water-bearing permeable rock, rock fractures or unconsolidated materials - gravel, sand, or silt) throughout Australia have been literally destroyed to prevent the natural flow of water; rivers have been overloaded in places to run off available water.

For twelve months (And more) normal forest management systems have been hijacked by 'the greens' to prevent the necessary burning off of the accumulated undergrowth and foliage which is the 'fuel' for bush fires.

Then, the arsonists and the like, have struck. The result these terrible bush fires; and instead of accepting this fact, the crazy climate activists have jumped on Australia's crisis saying it is absolute proof of climate change!!

The drought and the high temperatures ARE AUSTRALIA! There has always been these weather conditions and they have been far worse in the past when the population of Australia was considerable lower than it is now.

It appears that the arsonists may well have been in collaboration of those who were behind the intended 'scorched earth' agenda.

Here's an interesting piece:

THE GREENS BLAMING CLIMATE CHANGE FOR STARTING FIRES
Yet in truth, more than any other group, the Greens are responsible for major bushfires (having declared plants to be sacred, so no clearing away the fuel on the forest floor) - along with stupid Ministers who listened to them.
The Greens were the first to lecture us on how to prevent bushfires: build more windmills and solar panels!
Wrong!! The answer is to clear the undergrowth, allowing stock to graze in these areas, including national parks.
If there's no fuel, there can be no fires.
It has got nothing to do with climate change.
Australia has had bushfires for 60,000 years, the Indigenous specialised in it.
What's new is the 'plants are sacred' mentality that has allowed forest areas to become over-grown and dangerous in summer.

BREXIT
Finally! The Withdrawal Agreement has gone through the House of Parliament. After its 3rd sitting it now goes to the House Of Lords for scrutiny. Most of the peers are staunch remainers, but will have to let the W.A go through ... because Boris Johnson can say 'ok, it's a no deal then' or even disband the House of Lords altogether.

It will be interesting to see what amendments to the bill are put forward between now and 22nd Jan 2020 when it is due to be delivered to the E.U for their ratification so the UK can then leave on 31st January 2020.

The MSM keep reporting the EU being objectionable to the agreement and the end of the extension period being set or December 2020. They say a trade agreement can't be done by then and are trying to bully the UK. They forget we are not the customer anymore. We are the supplier/exporter and they need to toe the line!!

Iran Crisis
The Ukrainian Airlines plane which crashed in Tehran killing 176 people on Wednesday is now believed to have been blasted out of the sky by an Iranian anti-aircraft missile system. Officials are 'confident' that Iran shot down the Boeing 737-800 jet.

POTUS Trump is being blamed for creating this situation when in truth it is Iran who've been the instigator. Back in May 2019, Iran attacked oil tankers in the Gulf. In June 2019 Iran shot down a US drone; in July 2019 Iran seized a UK oil tanker. In September 2019, Iran attacked a Saudi state run oil company. Then in December 2019, Iran attacked US military bases in Iraq and stormed the US embassy in Baghdad.

Trump takes out a known terrorist in retaliation for all the Iranian aggression and he is the bad guy??? One human life to save countless hundreds that could have been tortured or worse at the hands of an Iranian general??? It needs to be put in perspective.

2020 is currently about to get worse. We approach the end of week 2; there is only 50 more weeks to go ... by then the prison doors will have opened wide and the large swathes of brainwashed humans will have wandered into the prison ... smelling the offered honey under the enchantment of the microwave brainwashing ... not being able to see the truth before their eyes.

When we watch social media, and see humans on the streets, we witness a majority that are the sheep asking the farmer for directions to the slaughter house ... a sad fact. They cannot see it and will not listen when you point it out. So why try???

There will be other issues featured as 'Insights into 2020' develops and evolves.

Insights Into 2020

Day 8

Again, we've covered most of the stuff we wish to cover in preceding posts, so we will keep this Insight brief.

However, we read an article that a decision had been made to kill 100,000 camels in Australia 'because they drink too much water' and they need to conserve water.

That is DISGUSTING, CRUEL and INHUMANE!! If the corrupt and evil corporations weren't stealing Australia's water and selling it to the highest bidder (China), there would  be more than enough water to go round!

Don't they think ONE BILLION dead animals is enough??? Why not start culling Australians to save water??? Ooops ... that's part of UN Agenda 2030, can't talk about that ...

There is a huge rumpus starting with arsonists being arrested for deliberate fires; the climate change mob won't like this as their climate change fake news is losing its power. After all they wanted the gullible to believe that climate change SUDDENLY started hundreds of fires across Australia. We've outlined the agenda and the most likely methodology regarding the intentional fires by deep state and hidden hand agencies (Mr Soros are you in on this too with your crazy money funding?).

It's wonderful to see that new life is breaking out in areas of burnt forestation already. It's nature at its best! Let's really hope and pray that the fires can now abate ... and some kind of successful action plan can be put together for the rest of the summer; and for the future.

Huge praise must go to all the celebrities and businessmen and business women who've donated multi-billions of dollars/pounds towards the bush fire funds. Our condolences must go out to those who've lost loved ones and property. It's awful. Truly sad.

We're avoiding adding too much about the 'Iran Crisis' as there is so much fake news and disinformation out there. Yes, the assassination of Soleimani appears to be the correct thing to do, with the clear atrocities he was responsible for ... but, the retaliation by Iran must have been anticipated prior to taking him out. But, are we being given the real stories by the MSM?? Or is it hidden hand propaganda?? This is why we have chosen to stay out of it.

BREXIT. We are 23 days away from leaving the EU. The UK government & parliament is currently making the W.A British law ... then it can be ratified ... before going to the EU for their ratification. So much to apparently do before 31.01.2020. Then the fun begins.

BUT, The SNP are trying to force some kind of stall with their claim Scotland wants to remain. Plus the saboteurs within parliament are trying their best still to scuttle the escape from the E.U.

We will start a BREXIT countdown soon ....

Top US Nuclear Expert Tells Obama: There Is No Weapons Threat From Iran

The former director of U.S. programs for production of nuclear materials and components for nuclear weapons, Clinton Bastin, sent an open letter to President Obama the morning of January 13, explaining that there is no weapons threat from Iran's fully safeguarded nuclear power and research programs. A copy of the letter, which the nuclear scientist also sent to the Iranian Ambassador to the United Nations, was made available to 21st Century Science & Technology magazine yesterday. It is reproduced below in full.

Bastin, who has served in leading positions in government since the 1950s, laid out the case on Iran in greater detail in an interview with 21st Century Science Nov. 18, 2011. The interview, which devastates the arguments for an Iranian nuclear weapons threat, is available at the 21st Century Science and Technology website....read more>>>...

Who decides whether America will attack Iran?

Does "The Decider" decide on war? Has Congress given George Bush a green light to attack Iran?

Here are some of the thoughts that spring to mind. The answer to both questions is no, and here's why:The people who participated in the last election did so believing that the United States Constitution was still in force. We still believe that.We know that the Constitution, the supreme law of the United States, permits only Congress to declare war. Congress has not declared war on Iran. The acting president, George W. Bush, is bound by the Constitution to faithfully execute the laws of the nation, and he is bound by oath to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.Having settled those questions definitively, we might question whether the United States should even consider declaring war on Iran. The answer to that question is no, and here's why:Most important of all, Iran does not pose a clear and present danger to the United States. On the other hand, the United States has a long history of being a clear and present danger to many countries, almost always claiming falsely that its intentions were to promote peace.

But in the last 110 years, peace-loving Americans have fought Spain, Germany twice, Austria-Hungary, Japan, Italy, North Korea, North Vietnam, Iraq twice and Serbia. We have intervened militarily in the Philippines, Cuba, Mexico, Panama, Nicaragua, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Lebanon, and Grenada. We bombed Libya.

There were many others, some still in progress.

The United States federal government armed other nations and encouraged them to attack others on our behalf. Our government promotes war for power and financial gain. The other important reason why the United States should not consider declaring war on Iran is that our government can no longer be trusted to tell the truth. At every opportunity, our government has lied to us and to the world. Everyone over the age of four has witnessed this. Everyone over the age of sixty can feel their stomachs tighten right now. Henceforth we are forced to conclude that everything that the US government tells us is false. Everything.

Another important reason why the United States should not consider declaring war on Iran is that our old media, what some call the mainstream media, cannot be trusted to inform the American public honestly. The American media are in partnership with the federal government, and the lies that are generated by the government are relayed faithfully by the media.

This leaves the American public largely misinformed and unequipped to command lawful representation in their Congress.

The last important reason why the United States should not consider declaring war on Iran is that the world--including a great many Americans--won't stand for it. If the Congress declares war on Iran, the United States federal government will be inviting extraordinary retaliation from every corner of the globe, beginning right at home.

Iran Crisis: Clouds Of War Gathering?

'Nine US military ships enter Persian Gulf , assembling off Iran’s coast in largest American naval move since 2003'They sailed through the Strait of Hormuz by day - according to US Navy officials for training exercises. The vessels carry around 17,000 combat and marine personnel. They include the two aircraft carriers, USS Nimitz and USS Stennis, as well as the USS Bonhomme Richard LHD 6 Group, the world’s biggest amphibious strike force. Iran was not notified of the planned arrival.'

It followed a UN nuclear watchdog warning that Tehran was stepping up enrichment and obstructing inspections. Prime Minister Elect is another Pro Iraq War Drone

Gordon Brown has mounted a staunch defence of the decision to invade Iraq - despite claims that he will withdraw British troops soon after becoming Prime Minister.

Soon to be New UK Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, has said he defends the Iraq War decision; which is spin for he approves of the mass slaughter of countless thousands of innocent lives in Iraq. So there's no change there then? Get rid of one NWO robot and replace him with another. Somehow I think it's more of the same in the coming years. It is likely that Prime Minister Brown will be the one who signs the agreement which permits UK troops to enter Iran and decimate Iran's population by slaughtering thousands of innocent lives there too ...and another thing to watch out for with this drone - more and more reference to the New World Order - if his recent speeches are anything to go by.

Iran Nuclear Crisis; Hallucinating its existence

After calling all the 'skullduggery bros inc' together, George W Bush sketched out the “existential threat to the United States from a nuclear Iran,” as Max Blumenthal explains it. “I was invited to go to Washington DC to meet with President Bush in the White House along with 12 or 13 other leaders of the pro-family movement,” James Dobson, chairman of the board of Focus on the Family, told his radio audience. “I heard about this danger [from Iran] not only at the White House but from other pro-family leaders that I met during that week in Washington,” he said. “Many people in a position to know are talking about the possibility of losing a city to nuclear or biological or chemical attack. And if we can lose one we can lose ten.”

"We must attack Iran before it gets the bomb" says Schoolyard Bully

I noticed this horrifying headline on a reputable UK Newspaper's web site this morning. Seems the Illuminati Media wagon has started its latest round of 'let's kick the f!*k out of another innocent country terrorism'. I was incredulous as my startled eyes read the words and the implications became clear ...

"A nuclear Iran would be as dangerous as “Hitler marching into the Rhineland” in 1936 and should be prevented by Western military strikes if necessary, according to a leading hawk who recently left the Bush administration. "

John Bolton, who still has close links to the Bush administration, told The Daily Telegraph that the European Union had to "get more serious" about Iran and recognise that its diplomatic attempts to halt Iran's enrichment programme had failed.

Iran has "clearly mastered the enrichment technology now...they're not stopping, they're making progress and our time is limited", he said. Economic sanctions "with pain" had to be the next step, followed by attempting to overthrow the theocratic regime and, ultimately, military action to destroy nuclear sites.

Mr Bolton's stark warning appeared to be borne out yesterday by leaks about an inspection by the UN's International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of Iran's main nuclear installation at Natanz on Sunday ..

Full Story Here..

What absolute bullshit! More scaremongery from 'the Scaremongery Bros Inc'. It all boils down to deceit and con artistry. When will the scaremongery stop? They never cease to amaze me ... it's OK for the world's biggest terrorist agency (current US Administration) to have at their disposal nuclear arnaments sufficient to blow this world into a billion pieces. But they cannot stand anyone else having the same. More than likely Iran is merely exercising the right to produce abundant energy for its survival. If it IS about to make Nuclear weapons ... can you blame them with all these bullies in the school yard?

Active CIA terror cells operate inside Iran

Aid to radical groups in Iran comes directly from the CIA's budget

By: Emile Tayyip

The U.S. has long been believed to be secretly funding separatist and radical groups to create chaos inside Iran in an attempt to pile pressure on the government to give up its nuclear programme. CIA officials are helping opposition militias among the numerous ethnic minority groups clustered in Iran's border regions. The controversial campaign involves dealing with movements that use terrorist methods in pursuit of their goals against the Iranian regime.

And recently ABC News uncovered more scandals involving the matter: "He is essentially commanding a force of several hundred guerrilla fighters that stage attacks across the border into Iran on Iranian military officers, Iranian intelligence officers, kidnapping them, executing them on camera," Alexis Debat, a senior fellow on counterterrorism at the Nixon Center and an ABC News consultant, has been quoted recently as saying, in reference to Abdel-Malik Regi, alleged leader of Pakistani terror groups hired by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to carry out a series of deadly terrorist attacks inside Iran.

The CIA is supporting and funding a group, called Jundullah, which includes members of the Baluchi tribe, and responsible for many terrorist acts and violence in Iran. They operate from Pakistan's province of Baluchestan, just across the border from Iran, and have carried out kidnappings and terror raids, in which scores of civilians’ lives in Iran were lost.
Soldiers and officials in Iran were also target of some of those attacks.

According to the ABC report, which cited U.S. government sources, the CIA has been in close contact with the terror group’s leader since 2005. Regi has admitted to have personally executed some of the Iranian captives, according to the ABC News report.

Jundallah, a shadowy armed group, had been planning to assassinate Sunni and tribal leaders in an effort to spark tensions between the Shia and Sunni citizens in Sistan-Baluchestan province.
His groups has admitted carrying out an attack in the Iranian city Zahedan in February involving an explosive-laden car that ripped through a bus belonging to ground forces of Iran's
Revolutionary Guards Corps, killing at least 11 people and injuring 31 others.

Following the attack, the semi-official Fars news agency, which cited an "informed source", reported that explosive devices and arsenals used in a terrorist attack in the southeastern Iranian city of Zahedan came from the United States Also documents, photographs and film footage, showed that the explosives and arsenals used in the attack were American.

Iranian television had broadcast confessions by those responsible for the bus attack.

According to Pakistani government sources, the CIA’s covert terror campaign against Iran was on Vice President Dick Cheney’s agenda when he met with Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf two months ago.

The past year witnessed a series of attacks targeting ethnic minority border areas of Iran. Relentless violence, including bombing and assassination campaigns against soldiers and government officials, resulted in a chaotic situation in the country that left a negative impact on the image of the current government.

Aid to separatists and radical groups comes directly from the CIA's classified budget but is now no great secret.

Released Brits Give Inside Account of Capture

British servicemembers detained by Iran for the past two weeks finally had a chance to give their own account of their capture and time in captivity at a press conference on Friday.

The statement given by the crew's two most senior members, Navy Lieutenant Felix Carman, 26, and Royal Marine Captain Chris Air, 25, among other things, recounts the tense moments when Iranian forces showed up on the scene. The way they tell it makes it sound as if the Iranians were looking for a fight, illustrating how easily the diplomatic incident could have escalated into something much more serious.

Here are some highlights followed by the full text of the statement.

On where they were when picked up by the Revolutionary Guard:
Lieutenant Felix Carman: "Let me make it absolutely clear, irrespective of what has been said in the past, when we were detained by the IRG we were inside internationally recognized Iraqi territorial waters and I can clearly state we were 1.7 nautical miles from Iranian waters."

On why they didn't resist capture:
Royal Marine Captain Chris Air: "The Iranian Navy did not turn up lightly armed; they came with intent, heavy weapons, and very quickly surrounded us. We were equipped, armed and had rules of engagement for boarding operations within Iraqi water. "We were not prepared to fight a heavily armed force who it is our impression came out deliberately into Iraqi waters to take us prisoner. Reasoning with the Iranians was our only option. We tried. We did our utmost to de-escalate the situation, but our words fell on deaf ears. They had come with a clear purpose and were never going to leave without us."

On why they "confessed":
Lieutenant Carman: "We were interrogated most nights, and presented with two options. If we admitted we had strayed, we would be on a plane back to the UK soon. If we didn't we faced up to seven years in prison. We all at one time or another made a conscious decision to make a controlled release of non-operational information."

British sailors say Iran threatened them with jail

(Reuters) - The 15 British sailors and marines seized by Iran in the Gulf last month said on Friday they were blindfolded, bound, kept in isolation and warned that they faced up to seven years in jail.

"Throughout our ordeal, we faced constant psychological pressure," they said in a joint statement at a news conference.

Iran said they were detained for entering its waters illegally but Britain said they were in Iraqi waters.

"We were interrogated most nights and given two options. If we admitted that we had strayed, we would be back on a plane to the UK pretty soon. If we didn't, we faced up to seven years in prison," the statement said.

Iran said Friday's news conference was "theatrical propaganda" to cover up their illegal entry into its waters. Before being freed, Iranian TV showed some of the 15 saying they had entered Iranian territory and had been well treated.

But on Friday the 15 said they heard weapons being cocked behind them after their capture and feared the worst.

The sole woman, Faye Turney, was kept isolated for several days and told by her captors that the others had been sent home.

Iran freed the sailors and marines on Thursday after a 13-day stand-off and they flew home to an emotional reunion with their families.

Their description of captivity was in sharp contrast to the images of them smiling on Iranian television which they now say were an Iranian "media stunt."

Tehran said the same about Friday's news conference. "Such staged moves cannot cover up the mistake made by British military personnel who illegally entered Iran's territory," said a Foreign Ministry statement. "Such theatrical propaganda can not justify the soldiers' mistake."

STONE CELLS
The sailors said that after their arrest in the Gulf, they were taken to a prison in Tehran.

"We were blindfolded, our hands were bound, we were forced up against a wall," they said.
They were "stripped and dressed in pyjamas ... we were kept in stone cells, approximately eight feet by six, sleeping on piles of blankets. All of us were kept in isolation."

They said they had been arrested in Iraqi waters.

"Had we resisted, there would have been a major fight, one which we could not have won, and with consequences that would have a major strategic impact," said Captain Chris Air.

"We were 1.7 nautical miles from Iranian waters," Lieutenant Felix Carman told the news conference.

Britain has suspended boarding operations in the Gulf and is reviewing rules of engagement in the area's waters amid disquiet over how easily the sailors were seized on March 23.

"As part of this ongoing review, the operational procedures and the rules of engagement that go with them will be reconsidered," navy chief Admiral Jonathon Band told BBC Radio.

Iran president says UK sailors to be freed

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Wednesday he would free 15 British sailors and marines as a "gift" to Britain. The president scolded Britain for not being "brave enough" to admit they had made a mistake and strayed into Iranian waters.
In a surprise announcement at the end of a lengthy news conference, Ahmadinejad said he was willing to make a "gift" to Britain, but he also awarded medals to the naval commanders who captured the 15 in the northern Gulf on March 23.
He said the captives would be released immediately after the news conference as a "gift to the British people". Oil prices fell more than 50 cents after the announcement. Britain had no immediate comment.
The Iranian president said he was "saddened" by Britain's violation of its borders and goaded Britain by saying it should be brave and admit that it had made a mistake. "They are free after this meeting and can go back to their families," Ahmadinejad told a news conference broadcast live to many countries. Britain maintains the sailors and marines were operating in Iraq territorial waters when they were seized.

Blair: We've 48 hours to save sailors

UK Daily Mail
Tuesday April 3, 2007

Tony Blair said today the next 48 hours are crucial in negotiating the release of the British hostages.

The Prime Minister's comments came as a new picture of the hostages was released by an Iranian news agency. He told Iran the "door is open" to a diplomatic deal.

Mr Blair was responding to comments by a key player in the Iranian government who had raised hopes by referring to secret talks going on between his foreign ministry and the Foreign Office.

Iran's chief negotiator Dr Ali Larijani stressed such moves were at an early stage but added: "If they continue on this path, they can change the situation logically."

Referring to Dr Larijani's comments, Mr Blair said: "The next 48 hours will be fairly critical."

He said Dr Larijani had offered the prospect of an end to the crisis. "If they want to resolve this in a diplomatic way the door is open," said Mr Blair.

Fifteen Royal Marines and sailors were seized as they patrolled the Shatt al Arab waterway in the Gulf 12 days ago. Some have been shown on TV making "confessions" that they strayed into Iranian waters. There have been fears of Tehran staging a show trial.

Today's new picture, an apparent breach of the understanding that no more such photographs would be published, shows six sailors sitting in blue and red tracksuits on a carpet in a room.

What appears to be a little bowl of nuts stands in the middle of the group.

The caption to the picture says: "British sailors are chatting and eating fruit, drinking coffee and playing chess. It seems that the sailors are satisfied with their situation, in which they are enjoying good conditions instead of working in a hard situation in the Persian Gulf."

But Dr Larijani has stressed that his priority is to resolve the dispute by diplomatic means and without putting the captives on trial.

There was further optimism when Iran's firebrand president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad cancelled a press conference at which he was due to speak on the fate of the captives.

The decision to postpone the media briefing gives a breathing space for the diplomatic moves.

Britain's former ambassador to Iran, Sir Richard Dalton, said he was cautiously optimistic following Dr Larijani's comments. He said: "It looks as though both sides are looking for a way to solve the crisis and to do so in the not-too-distant future."

The UK insists the captives were taken from Iraqi, not Iranian, waters. Dr Larijani has suggested that he wants Britain to admit to its "mistake".

Britain may hold talks about how to avoid future clashes in the disputed waters between Iran and Iraq in which the 14 men and Leading Seaman Faye Turney were captured as they searched for smugglers.

Botched US raid that led to the hostage crisis

'A failed American attempt to abduct two senior Iranian security officers on an official visit to northern Iraq was the starting pistol for a crisis that 10 weeks later led to Iranians seizing 15 British sailors and Marines.

Early on the morning of 11 January, helicopter-born US forces launched a surprise raid on a long-established Iranian liaison office in the city of Arbil in Iraqi Kurdistan.

They captured five relatively junior Iranian officials whom the US accuses of being intelligence agents and still holds.'

A growing Gulf between nations

What initially seemed like a relatively minor spat in the Gulf has developed into one of the most precarious situations that the Blair regime has encountered. Ten days have passed since Iran seized 15 British navy sailors from a cargo boat at a disputed location and we seem to be no closer to resolving the issue now than we were on day one. In fact, the deterioration in relations between Britain and Iran has been so dramatic that it is becoming increasingly difficult to see how the matter will draw to a close.

There are always two sides to a story and while both countries remain adamant they are right about where the sailors were when they were captured, one of them must be wrong. If Britain is in the wrong, then the time has come to admit it, apologise and end this stand-off once and for all. It would be embarrassing to back down, but it would be a small price to pay. A few sailors straying into Iranian territory equates to a blunder, an error, but not an outright act of aggression against Iran and it should not be treated as such. If, on the other hand, it is the Iranians that are in the wrong, then the implications are much more serious.

Actions amount to terrorism
If Iran took 15 British sailors, who were working under a UN remit, from Iraqi territorial waters by force, it is guilty of making an aggressive and unprovoked attack on Britain. Given the long-running dispute over territory in that part of the world, the Iranians could be forgiven for the initial mistake. It is quite possible that when they captured the British sailors they fully believed the Brits were trespassing. If that was the case, then by now they would know if they were wrong and should have taken steps to rectify the situation. If from the outset they knew they were taking British servicemen and women from Iraqi waters, then their actions surely amount to terrorism (I wondered when the 'T' word was going to be used in the media MJ).

Whatever the initial motive, the way Iran has carried on since March 23, when it seized the sailors, is inexcusable. Its behaviour has more in common with the actions of terrorist groups than it does with the way respected nations are expected to conduct themselves. Although the sailors are being held against their will, there is no evidence to suggest they are being badly treated and that is a positive sign, but it doesn't score any brownie points for Iran. The British government has been keen to avoid using the word "hostages" to describe the sailors but George Bush has not, and, on this occasion, the US President appears to have got it spot on. However the British government tries to gloss over it, 15 of its sailors are being held hostage by Iran. Not only that, but the Iranians are using them as political pawns – unacceptable behaviour from a nation that is rapidly losing all its credibility and respect.

It is very difficult, if not impossible, to comprehend the logic behind these "confessions" that are being churned out. It seems like a futile attempt to convince the Iranian people and the world that Iran was right and Britain was wrong, but who do they think they are kidding? It is an insult to people's intelligence that Iran expects them to take the admissions of guilt at face value. An average child could probably see through the charade and determine that these sailors are being forced to make the confessions.

There is more to this episode than a debate over whether British sailors were in Iranian waters. Iran is using the "hostages" to put pressure on the British government. One of the sailors held, Leading Seaman Faye Turney, wrote a letter urging the government to withdraw its troops from Iraq. If it wasn't such a serious situation, this approach would actually be laughable. The Iranians apparently expect us to believe a written confession from a sailor who then has the presence of mind to start advising her own Government on its foreign policy strategy, after spending a few days enjoying generous Iranian hospitality. The whole situation is ridiculous. Imagine if the tables were turned - British sailors went into Iranian waters, captured 15 Iranians and held them captive until Iran admitted its people had trespassed into waters they shouldn't have been in – it just wouldn't happen.

Show of strength So if Iran has acted illegally why is a strong response taking so long? On March 27, Tony Blair said that if diplomatic efforts failed, Britain would enter a "different phase" with its efforts to get its sailors back. The diplomatic efforts have so far proved fruitless, so where is this different phase? Iran is effectively a bully and bullies are notorious cowards. The British government is being tested and so far it has not responded with the necessary show of strength. This saga must not be allowed to drag on much longer and it is up to Tony Blair to show that Britain will not be pushed around.

As he comes towards the end of his time as Prime Minister, the crisis in the Gulf could be his final test as Britain's leader. How Tony Blair handles the situation in the coming weeks will go a long way to shaping his legacy. He has the chance to go out with a bang. The country seems to be up in arms at what the Iranians have done, with few exceptions, so whatever course of action Blair decides to take, if he gets the sailors back safely he'll have the support of the people – something his foreign policies have not had for a long time.
