A Soulful Cure

Since time immemorial, certain men and women have felt called to heal the sick, to safeguard knowledge, to guide the lost, and to commune with the spirit world. These unique individuals, known as shamans, were mystics and seers, repositories of wisdom, and keepers of herbal lore. During those periods when ignorance loomed large in the world, shamans across the globe bided their time, peacefully practicing their practical yet refined arts in the jungle, mountains, deserts, and tundra that protected them from those who misunderstood shamanism. Today, however, shamanism has reemerged, as modern men and women feel the same call to service that their ancestors felt long ago. Also, as more individuals explore the notion that healing necessarily involves the soul as well as the physical self, people are consulting shamans in their search for wellness, wisdom, and guidance.

The word shaman literally means “he or she who knows.” Shamanism is an art that has not changed in any quantifiable way for millennia and is not bound to any particular form of spirituality. It is grounded on the principle that the visible world is saturated with unseen forces that influence the lives of human beings. Shamans, in addition to acting as fonts of wisdom, are dedicated to diagnosing and curing human suffering—whether emotional, physical, or spiritual. To treat an illness, a shaman may communicate with the spirit world in order to connect more directly with the soul of their patient or with the force causing ill health. They often work closely with animal guides, plant and earth spirits, or your spirit guides, and may make use of use of herbal remedies to supplement other forms of treatment. Shamans, as intermediaries between the physical and spiritual realms, recognize that all objects are in manner alive and retain information that can be utilized to heal.

Shamanism is powerful in part because its practitioners tailor healing to the individual needs of those who seek them out. A shaman manipulates energy, giving you power where you have lost it and removing misplaced energy lurking within you. When you seek out a shaman, they will endeavor to know and understand you before treating you. In this way, they can provide you with therapies that act on your whole being, positively influencing your body as well as your soul.(Daily OM)

Lizard Totem Animal

When Lizard is one of your personal Animal Totems you have the power to regenerate that which has been lost.

You have a tendency to repeat some of life's cycles simply because your psyche loves to recreate the emotional attachments in any way it can because the emotions and the cycles are familiar ground.

You will be a master at facing your fears and moving between altered states of realty and “otherworlds”.

It is maybe time to undertake an internal audit and look at yourself as if you are in the third person. Are you being ruled by your ego or are you coming from your heart? Be mindful that the Ego is 'the master of deception', and you will have to peel back many layers of apparent self to arrive at the authentic self. Only then will you discover what your heart is really telling you.

A Word on "Boji Stones"

Boji Stone is the copywritten and registered trademark for concretion stones which are found in Colorado. Their shape is usually round with some protrusion of platelets. These stones are a composite of palladium and pyrite. See Palladium for further qualities and uses.

Boji stones come in male, female and androgynous forms and in various sizes, generally from the size of a dime to as about as large as a silver dollar. The male stone is characterized primarily by the uneven, sharp, protruding patterns on their surface.

The female stones are all smooth in their configuration. The androgynous stones display a point or points of some uneven characteristics but not as contiguous as displayed on the male stones. These stones attain their full power when they are used in pairs except for the androgynous stones which can be considered as having the same energy as a pair of male and female stones.

Boji stones can transfer energy from the etheric to the physical body. It will clean, recharge and fill with positive energy, all of the voids or holes in the aura and the auric field...read more>>>...

"We Are Not Alone" The Shamans Of The World Tell Us

To disregard the problems facing the Earth and to proceed with business as usual in education would be a betrayal of trust. Our students want to know how to make a difference. They need hope. And it won’t come if all we can offer is another scientific theory or technological fix.

We must expand our vision to seek non-scientific alternatives. To make a difference, we must search for different understandings. Let us look to the wisdom of our ancestors. They believed that intelligence is not restricted to humans but is possessed by all creatures – plants as well as animals — and by the Earth itself.

They also believed in spirits. Human welfare was understood to depend on tapping into these wellsprings of wisdom, and all ancient societies (just like indigenous peoples today) had specialists skilled in communication with the natural world and with spirits...<<<Read More>>>...

A Word On "Nagual"

In Mesoamerican folk religion, a Nagual or Nahual (both pronounced [na'wal]) is a human being who has the power to magically turn him- or herself into an animal form: most commonly a donkey, turkey, or dog,but also other and more powerful animals such as the jaguar and puma.

Such a Nagual is believed to use his powers for good or evil according to his personality. Specific beliefs vary, but the general concept of nagualism is pan-Mesoamerican. Nagualism is linked with pre-Columbian shamanistic practices through Preclassic Olmec depictions which are interpreted as humans transforming themselves into animals. The system is linked with the Mesoamerican calendrical system, used for divination rituals.

The birth date often determines if a person will be a Nagual. Mesoamerican belief in tonalism, wherein all humans have an animal counterpart to which their life force is linked, is also part of the definition of nagualism. In English the word is often translated as "transforming witch", but translations without the negative connotations of the word witch would be "transforming trickster" or "shape shifter".

The word nagual derives from the Nahuatl word nahuālli [naˈwaːlːi], an indigenous religious practitioner, identified by the Spanish as a 'magician'. The nagual is acquired along with the other characteristics of a person's birth day at birth. Each day is associated with an animal which has strong and weak aspects. A person born on "The Dog Day" would have both strong and weak 'Dog' aspects...<<<Read More>>>...

What Is Shamanism?

What is Shamanism? Shrouded in mystery and often misinterpreted, shamans practice one of the oldest professions in human history.

Known as a healer / priest, shamans are capable of harnessing, at will, the invisible forces at play around and within us to aid in great healing and to gain wisdom.

In our modern world, we’ve become blind to these deeper realms of consciousness in and around us…but they still exist.

More people today are waking up to shamanism. They’re remembering our innate and intuitive connection with the cosmos and the natural world that is an unshakeable part of who we are.

And they are using this connection—this superpower—to create modern-day miracles, to heal unhealable wounds and illnesses, and to reclaim their lives.

While every shamanic culture throughout the world has its own belief system, rituals, tools and techniques and other differences, many share some central principles and elements...<<<Read More>>>...

What is Shamanism?

Shamanism is an ancient healing tradition and moreover, a way of life. It is a way to connect with nature and all of creation. The word shaman originates from the Tungus tribe in Siberia. Anthropologists coined this term and have used it to refer to the spiritual and ceremonial leaders among indigenous cultures worldwide. The word shamanism can be used to describe the ancient spiritual practices of these indigenous cultures. Clearly, the countless similarities between various ancient traditions played a role in the continual generalization of the word.

Over the past few decades, the term “shamanism” has been popularized throughout the western world, especially in new-age circles. Today, it can be difficult to distinguish between traditional forms of shamanism and modernized, often esoteric practices that utilize the term.

One could view shamanism as the universal spiritual wisdom inherent to all indigenous tribes. As all ancient spiritual practices are rooted in nature, shamanism is the method by which we as human beings can strengthen that natural connection....<<<Read More>>>...

A Lesson in Letting Go

[Wake Up World]: In the middle of winter, there is a temptation to numb our senses while we wait for the flowers and bumblebees to come back in the spring. But each season holds an equal amount of wisdom that is just waiting to be unlocked by those who are truly awake. Our ancestors had no choice but to listen.

Their lives depended on it and their spirits thrived on the deep understandings that were inspired by the earth cycles around them.

Native shamans, granny healers and wise elders weave their own unique tapestries of the spirit world, but they all use the same thread and fabric. One strand that I hear frequently in various cultures goes something like this:

The outer world is a reflection of the universe within each of us. By closely witnessing your surroundings you can access infinitely valuable teachings about the soul’s journey.

There’s a personal lesson that I’ve been slowly beginning to internalize as the natural world outside sits cold and quiet. Something in that silence speaks to me about the shortest route to peace.

The teaching is this:

Many of us attempt to solve our struggles by giving them a ton of life energy, turning each one over and over in our hands like a Rubix cube. This method sometimes works, but often the exact opposite approach is required....<<<Read More>>>...

Signs You’re Called to Be a Shaman

[Wake Up World]: At its most basic level, shamanism can be understood as a collection of ancient techniques that help to awaken and expand consciousness, as well as heal humanity’s inner wounds.

Shamanic practice is the earliest known form of religion that our ancestors experienced. The different number of spiritual techniques used to expand our conscious and provoke mystical experiences was astonishing. These techniques ranged from chanting, fasting, and nature immersion, to incessant trance dancing and ingesting hallucinogenic plants.

Unlike most religions where the main concern is finding answers, the Shaman is more interested in provoking you to ask the right questions that will lead you to experience truth. The Shaman doesn’t pursue meaning: he or she creates it by bringing the sacred to an otherwise mundane reality.

The word “Shaman” first originated in Siberia as the word “samarambi” meaning “to excite oneself,” and “sam-dambi” meaning to dance. The shaman, therefore, excites himself into a divine frenzy or ecstasy through drum beating and dancing, until he passes into a trance when his spirit leaves his body.

The scholar of comparative religion and anthropologist Mirca Eliade gave us the most simple shaman definition as “specialists in ecstasy,” with an impressive list of abilities including thought-reading, clairvoyance, firewalking, and spirit interaction, just to name a few.

It’s these moments of ecstasy, of ego death, that provide an experience of reality that is larger, deeper, and infinitely more exquisitely beautiful. Shamans worldwide know that in order to understand society and live more fully attuned to reality, they need to go wild, travel out of their normal minds, and visit the invisible world of Spirit, which is the undercurrent of the visible world.

By accessing the invisible realm, Shamans can tap into a powerful way of guiding their lives and the lives of others....<<<Read The Full Article Here>>>...

Self-Inflicted Shamanism – Choosing the Path Least Travelled

[Waking Times]: Traditionally, shamanism is not a choice. You don’t choose the shamanic path; the shamanic path chooses you. This is because existential thresholds must be passed.

A Dark Night of the Soul (or two, or three, or four…) must be overcome. An initiation from an ego-centric to a soul-centric perspective must be achieved. Besides these grueling steps, much pain must be self-actualized and transformed into healing energy (medicine).

But, there is a way to choose the shamanic path despite oneself: self-inflicted shamanism. I say “despite oneself” because one must either be crazy, masochistic, extremely introverted, or all three, to want to choose such an arduously Promethean undertaking. As Nietzsche infamously stated, “He who delights in solitude is either a wild beast or a god.” The self-inflicted shaman goes one step further, responding with this: “Nay. He is both, a beast and a god.”

It is important to understand that shamanism is a sacrifice of independence into the fierce jaws of interdependence. It’s a surrender to the cosmic overwhelm, a giving into solitude and meditation wherein one is annihilated and then put back together again (by Universal Law itself) into a healthy and healing force of nature....<<<Read The Full Article Here>>>...

A Shamanic and Spiritual Perspective on Confusion and Truth

[Waking Times]: People are confused. They don’t know what to believe, and they don’t know who they can trust. They don’t know what’s real, what’s fake, or what’s really fake, or what’s a deep fake.

Stuff they think is true is being de-bunked by people they thought they could trust, and people they thought they could trust are obviously not telling the truth.

We’re lost in the greatest Truth Gap of all time, and the result is widespread confusion.

In a conversation about the nature of the Cosmos, the Buddha was once asked about the paradox of trying to understand the eternal:

How is it, Master Gotama, when Master Gotama is asked if the monk reappears… does not reappear… both does and does not reappear… neither does nor does not reappear, he says, ‘…doesn’t apply’ in each case. At this point, Master Gotama, I am befuddled; at this point, confused.” ~Aggi Vacchagotta Sutta

In his reply, the Buddha explains the consequence of confusion:

…a thicket of views, a wilderness of views, a contortion of views, a writhing of views, a fetter of views. It is accompanied by suffering, distress, despair, and fever, and it does not lead to disenchantment, dispassion, cessation’ to calm, direct knowledge, full Awakening, Unbinding.” ~ Aggi Vacchagotta Sutta

We’re in that thicket of views right now, and given that our society has organized itself around media and information, it’s rather startling to acknowledge just how much confusion we’re swimming in. The noise is louder than ever now, plus, we’re in a state of war, and truth is the first casualty of war.

It’s been a spiritual war for a very long time, which then began to materialize as a culture war, then an information war, and is now fully manifesting as a civil war. Things aren’t looking good....<<<Read The Full Article Here>>>....

Lower World Realm Of Ancestors And Spirits

[Shamanic Journey]: The lower world is the realm of ancestors and spirits. The lower world is based in the natural world and it is the deepest aspect of our Soul. The root of our deepest thoughts and emotions.

It is a beautiful, earthy dimension, where we can connect with power animals. Since the beginning of time it contains nature’s secrets which are instinctual to our nature. This is where all that exists happens.

Where the power of the earth, its elements and its kingdoms can be encountered. Where wisdom as well as power may be brought forward into life itself. Every thought and idea planted and cultivated by humans throughout history are imprinted in the Lower World. Here is where the light within the earth may be accessed to bring growth as well as healing.

Travelling deep into the lower world is a sacred journey of initiation for the shaman. To retrieve their power, the shaman makes their descent into the lower world through powerful dreams or through altered states of consciousness.

The portal into the lower world can be entered through an opening like a hollow tree, a cave or maybe even a deep pool. Bringing back the visions from their journeys to their tribes, they will be acted out through sacred rites as well as ceremonies...<<<Read The Full Article Here>>>...

Boji Stone...

Boji Stones. It is said that Boji Stones™ originate from only one place in the USA and they grow like mushrooms. Only one male stone grows for every seven females! The male is the rougher looking of the pair whilst the female Boji is smooth. They are best used in pairs but you will often see the females made into pendants. (Mystic Mouse)

The Boji Stone is as old as the earth. The formation of the stones and the creation of the earth were simultaneous thus making the stones millions of years old. They are primarily made up of pyrite, which gives them their blackish-brown color and are flat and spherical in shape. There have also been studies showing palladium in the stones. Boji Stones are derived from only place in the United States at Smoky Hill Chalk Member of the Niobrara Formation in Gove County, Kansas.

Boji Stones are separated as male and female stones and some may even have androgynous qualities. Female stones are smooth and outnumber the male stones. Male stones are uneven and sharp with the androgynous stones exhibiting qualities such as points and rough patterns along the surface. Boji Stones are small in size compared to other minerals ranging from the size of a dime to the size of a golf ball. The largest faceted stone to date is less than three carats in weight.

Boji Stones are most effective when they are used as a pair of female and male stones. Androgynous stones however can be used alone because their energy is equal to the energy of a pair of male and female stones. Boji Stones are effective when used in the healing of physical conditions but they are more powerful when used for their metaphysical properties.

Metaphysical Properties of Boji Stones
-Primarily used to balance and align ones energy field.
-They aid in moving energy from the subtle body to the physical body.
-Help to recharge the aura and fill empty space with positive energy.
-Promote the removal of blockages to allow healing to take place.
-Facilitate the balancing of the male and female energies in the body.
-Assist in aligning all of the chakras from the crown chakra to the root chakra.
-Improve the body's electrical structure by creating an electromagnetic field around it.
-Used to facilitate clarity in the brain. This can increase the functioning of the brain by up to six percent and also helps to recover short and long term memory.
-Used to promote the regeneration of cellular tissue that has been damaged. (Healing Stones Healing Crystals)

As Shaman Stone Healing Stones, they are high energy stones and are powerful allies to have for personal path workings and for healing. In personal matters the stones can connect the shaman with earth energies. They are powerful in grounding and energies. The stones can be used for contacting and interacting with our animal spirit guides.

The stones are powerful protectors, they can absorb negative energy and transform it in to positive useful energy. If one stone is placed at the crown and another is placed on the soles of the feet, the shaman stones can purify and normalize the flow of chakra energies in the one being treated. The stones seem to have a positive effect on any area they are placed over.(Healing Stones Healing Crystals)

The Shamanic Perspective on AI and Transhumanism

Waking Times: Transhumanism has come a long way in 19 years, attracting growing numbers of devotees seeking to “improve humanity” (but really just their own) by embedding and/or replacing their bodies more and more significantly with tech, making us “better” and even – their primary goal – “immortal”. Joy’s piece has only become more relevant as we stampede toward the unknown consequences of bio-technological integration.

John Carpenter demonstrated this in his movie They Live, which he wrote and directed in 1988. Ostensibly a science fiction/horror film, it shows a reality in which the ruling class are an alien species, concealing their appearance under human form. Their true, hideous faces and ruthless manipulation of human society could only be revealed through special sunglasses, devised by an underground resistance. These fresh eyes also exposed subliminal messages embedded in the cultural landscape, demanding that we OBEY, CONSUME and CONFORM.

Leaving the notion of aliens to sci-fi, we do truly live beneath such a deceptive veil. The cultural hypnosis remains rather vivid to those wearing the actual “sunglasses” readily available to all – plant medicine. Besides the growing mechanisms of societal control, as in George Orwell’s 1984 and Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World, there is another theme which becomes apparent the moment you put on the sanity lenses. You begin to see the rise of mental illness and the legitimization of insanity. Political correctness used as a tool for coercion is often applied to this task. People are used as pawns in social experiments, unwittingly herded together as a doped-up, human shield against sanity. Psychology misused can become a psychological bio weapon, targeting people from within to turn them against themselves and others. This zombification is happening on a grand scale right now, but the tools with which to do it are becoming more powerful. The forces behind this are a whole other question, but the fact that our modern world is nurturing madness with increasing precision is obvious and beyond all argument.

The transhumanist agenda’s hysterical craving for eternal life is more likely an insane drive toward what, I believe, will be a human-free future in which cold calculation will rule the world, pushing true humanity to extinction. Perhaps it is nothing more than the same old fear of death. The idea of uploading human consciousness into a computer in search of immortality is a digital analogue of the religious belief in a heavenly afterlife. The only difference: their version of Heaven is virtual....read more>>>...

The Accomplished Art Of Walking Between The Worlds

Being able to navigate the inner planes is an essential trait of someone blessed with 'walking between the worlds'. More often than not the journey begins with a tiny fragment of information - a name; the impression of a place or object.

The advanced skill is to be able to grasp that bit of information like it is a length of string and use it to enter into the inner planes. The information is the guide as to where you are going to venture.

Whether it be to make contact with a lost loved one who is now an inhabitant of the inner planes & other worlds. Or it is to establish a connection with the life path & blue print of a client; in order to offer advice on the cause of a situation, or the outcome of a dilemma.

Being able to enter into the inner planes; navigate those realms of silence, and comprehend where you are heading, and what information you are receiving; is just one part of the process. To then be able to successfully interpret the information and convert it into viable five sensory dialogue is the next part of the process. And that isn't always easy if both processes are happening simultaneously. Part of your awareness is in this limited vibration and another part is out there within the inner planes.

It takes considerable skill to accomplish a successful dialogue that is not only understood by a client; but also is proven to be accurate. Then when the outcome occurs as had been seen with farsight .... it comes as no surprise.

Second Sight & Having Feet In Both Worlds

When you've ventured beyond that final curtain humans call 'DEATH' and seen what lies in store after this virtual life ... your time on this virtual world will never be the same.

When you realise that beyond that curtain you are still consciousness and you observe other 'earth-like' places and you can completely forget this earth in an instance ... it makes sense that you question the conventions that dictate you are wrong.

When you've survived that initial journey beyond that curtain, and return back to this earth, only to be in a limbo state beyond the two worlds for several months, you immediately regain the memories of true self during that time. And you can no longer function on this earth again like you did. You effectively have your feet in both worlds, simultaneously ... and when your sense of both worlds aligns so that they both seem the same ... you understand then the meaning of 'second sight'. For it is only then you can truly see what others cannot see. For that is when you can truly read the pathways of other people's lives with recurrent accuracy. For you see other people as they really are ... and you are in truth looking at aspects of yourself.

I died for about two minutes and entered the other world just like the wavelength of this world was switched off and the wavelength of the other world came into range. I totally forgot this world until I heard a familiar voice in this world, and came back. If that familiar voice hadn't spoken when it did, I would not have come back.

For over twelve weeks I was in the limbo world .. with my feet in both worlds. Aware of the simultaneous broadcasts that were going on as the doctors on this world tried to save my life. and the unseen energies in the other world prepared me for my transition to there. I would wander the other world with full conscious awareness, amazed at the wonders and how similar they were to this earth.

That was over five years ago, and I've retained my awareness of the other world ... and have the defined second sight. It isn't a gift ... it is just what we all possess and have the right to function with; except the hidden hand in this world decree that right is too dangerous ... for we would see through their trojan horses and their glamours immediately. Like I do.

The Eightfold Path to Altered States of Consciousness

NorthernShamanism: One of the differences between shamanic work and other sorts of energy work is that sooner of later, altered states of consciousness are required. This is partly because shamanic work is not only working with energy (like thaumaturgic magic) or with universal paths (like theurgic magic) but working with entities. In order to properly perceive and deal with the wights, you need to go into a state of consciousness that brings you closer to them.

The more dramatic and serious the work, the more extreme the altered state needs to be. Even people who are good at going into mild altered states - the sort who trance out easily - will sooner or later find that they need to go further and deeper if they take up shamanic work.

A large part of the "basic" shamanic training is learning how to control one's state of consciousness at will, whatever that takes. Fortunately, our ancestors spent thousands of years working out a wide and varied array of altered-state technologies; much of the research work has already been done for us. These techniques have been sorted into a system referred to as the "Eightfold Path", or eight groups of similar techniques...read more>>>...
