Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor arrested and in custody on suspicion of misconduct in public office

Misconduct in Public Office is a really complicated offence. It essentially boils down to an allegation that someone who was doing a job on behalf of the British public did something seriously wrong, knowing it to be wrong.

There are four “elements” or factors that police must focus on during their investigation so that prosecutors can later decide whether or not someone should be charged.

First, the police must establish whether the person they’re investigating was a “public officer” and the incident in question was plausibly part of those duties.

If that’s agreed, detectives will then look for evidence that the incident in question saw the suspect “wilfully” neglecting to perform their duty or wilfully misconducting themselves in some other way. That wordy definition has long been a source of legal debate – more on that later.

The next question is whether the action they committed was so bad that it was “an abuse of the public’s trust”.

Lastly, if the evidence has passed those three tests, police need to examine whether the person under investigation acted “without reasonable excuse or justification”.

That final question is crucial. It’s a fundamental principle of criminal justice that someone suspected of wrongdoing is given an opportunity to put forward their side of the story – and that starts when the police come and knock on their door....<<<Read More>>>...

Anti-Islamic uprising in Iran continues: “This is the year of blood. Khamenei will be toppled.”

Starting on Sunday, there have been widespread anti-regime protests in Iranian cities, including Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz, Mashhad and Zahedan, primarily driven by economic distress, including the Iranian rial’s collapse to a record low of approximately 1.4 million to the dollar.

The protests, which began as economic demonstrations by merchants and shopkeepers, escalated into broader political unrest with chants of “Death to the Dictator” Ali Khamenei and pro-monarchist slogans calling for the return of the Shah.

Security forces, including the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, responded with tear gas, rubber bullets, and batons, while the government declared a state of emergency and vowed “total war” against the United States, Europe and Israel.

There is no credible evidence of foreign military or organised group control over Iranian cities.

The central bank governor, Mohammad Reza Farzin, resigned amid the crisis.

The situation remains fluid, with protests continuing into 31 December with crowds chanting “This is the year of blood. Khamenei will be toppled.”

On Monday, independent news channel Tousi TV reported that anti-Islamic Iranians have taken control of Iranian cities....<<<Read More>>>...

Labour on Course For “Very large” Losses in Local Elections

Sir Keir Starmer faces “very, very large” losses in next year’s local elections, a polling expert has predicted. The Telegraph has more.

Lord Hayward said the Prime Minister would suffer heavy losses in English council elections, defeat in the Welsh Senedd and a “battering” in the Scottish Parliament on May 7th.

Dismal results for Labour could reignite the question of whether Sir Keir should continue to lead the party, which exploded into the headlines in November following an anonymous briefing from his allies against potential rivals.

In England, results will depend on where elections go ahead, with several councils expected to defer polls to 2027 to focus on a reorganisation of local government.

But elections in London and other metropolitan areas in Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Yorkshire are set to go ahead.

While these areas have recently been Labour-dominated, Lord Hayward said the party was heading for defeats to Reform UK, the Greens, the Liberal Democrats and, in east London, pro-Gaza independent candidates.

Even the Conservatives could pick up seats in London, he said, although the Tories’ overall result will depend on whether elections go ahead in counties where they won heavily in 2021.

Gains in London councils such as Westminster or Barnet could help shore up Kemi Badenoch’s position as Conservative leader, which has appeared more secure in recent months.

Lord Hayward, a Conservative peer, said: “A few months ago, it looked as if May 7th would be decisive for the leaderships of both Labour and Conservatives.

“As we move into 2026 it now looks as if the May elections could decide the fate of Keir Starmer and Rachel Reeves, but it is less clear that that will be the case for Kemi Badenoch.”

He added that while Labour and possibly the Conservatives were on course to lose seats in May, there would be no clear victor, but a “cacophony of winners”.

Lord Hayward said Reform – starting from a low base – was likely to make the most gains, but a range of other parties were expected to claim some sort of victory on the night, with a clear picture perhaps only emerging in the days following the elections.

Despite what could be significant changes in England, Lord Hayward suggested it was the results in Scotland and Wales that could have the most long-term significance for the UK.

Labour had been expecting to supplant the SNP and return to power at Holyrood in 2026.

But that prospect now seems unlikely, with Lord Hayward suggesting the party was on course for “one hell of a battering” while the SNP, Reform and the Greens could do well.

In Wales, the picture is more complicated, given the change in the electoral system, the increase in the size of the Senedd and the lowering of the voting age to 16.

Especially in light of the Caerphilly by-election in October 2025, Plaid Cymru and Reform are on course to do well at Labour’s expense....<<<Read More>>>...

Labour government avoids increasing taxes by increasing taxes

Why does the Labour government need to increase taxes? One reason is that, due to policy changes and higher-than-expected unemployment, welfare spending is expected to climb £16 billion higher by the end of the decade. Other reasons include the money needed to feed the net zero monster and Labour’s wish list for nationalising industries.

The UK Chancellor, Rachel Reeves, delivered her budget to the House of Commons today. The budget avoids increasing income tax but increases a variety of taxes and reduces tax allowances instead.

Increased taxes under a Labour government would have been predicted by anyone who understands the nature of socialism, regardless of what promises Labour made to woo voters in the run-up to the election.

The Telegraph has summarised Rachel from Accounts’ budget in point form. You can read their summary HERE. Effectively, the Labour government has increased taxes in such a way as to be able to claim they have not increased taxes, as promised in their 2024 manifesto.

The Chancellor has extended the freeze on income tax thresholds for another three years beyond 2028. It will mean income tax thresholds do not increase with inflation, meaning more people will fall into higher bands when they receive pay rises.

Electric vehicle drivers are facing a new pay-per-mile tax from 2028-29, charging 3p per mile. It will be in addition to other road taxes and cost the average driver £255 a year to begin with. The charge will increase in line with inflation.

In September 2026, the 5p temporary cut on fuel duty will fall away. And from April 2027, fuel duty will increase annually in line with inflation.

Salary-sacrificed pension contributions will no longer be exempt from National Insurance from April 2029. This means that salary-sacrificed contributions above £2,000 per year will be subject to both employer and employee National Insurance.

The owners of properties worth £2 million or more face a new “high value council tax surcharge” from April 2028. Property income tax will also rise by 2% points from April 2027.

The amount you can save tax-free in a cash ISA will be slashed from £20,000 to £12,000 from April 2027, unless you are aged over 65. The basic and higher rates of tax on dividends and savings are rising by 2% from April 2026 and April 2027, respectively.

Reeves is also planning to cut an estimated average of £76 from annual domestic energy bills by moving the most expensive green levy from bills to direct taxation.

And there are some sneaky increases in taxation for companies as well.

Socialists are continually trying to expand the area of the State’s tasks, which all cost money. Consequently, there is an increase in expenditure. The only way a state can fund itself is through the productive work of its citizens. When the Government wants to increase its spending, higher taxes on citizens’ earnings are inevitable....<<<Read More>>>...

Beyond Category 5: Hurricane Melissa intensifies to 175 MPH, shattering records as it closes in on Jamaica

Hurricane Melissa has intensified into a Category 5 storm, posing a catastrophic threat to Jamaica.

The storm's slow movement threatens to dump up to 40 inches of rain, causing severe flooding and landslides.

Mandatory evacuations are underway in Jamaica, and the island's international airports have closed.

The storm has already caused fatalities and significant damage in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

Forecasters warn Melissa could be the most powerful hurricane to directly strike Jamaica in recorded history.

The Caribbean is confronting a meteorological nightmare as Hurricane Melissa, now a maximum Category 5 storm, relentlessly approaches Jamaica. On Monday, October 27, 2025, the U.S. National Hurricane Center warned of catastrophic winds, life-threatening storm surge and biblical rainfall amounts set to pummel the island nation.

With sustained winds of 160 mph and intensifying, Melissa represents the most severe direct threat to Jamaica in decades, prompting urgent evacuations, the closure of international airports and a dire warning for residents to seek immediate shelter....<<<Read More>>>...

Collectivism is threatening our freedom and creating modern slavery

Collectivism is a cultural, psychological and political worldview that prioritises the needs of the group over the individual, leading to a form of modern slavery where people are controlled and oppressed.

Collectivist ideology is used by organisations such as the World Economic Forum and secretive groups like the Bilderbergers, who aim to give total power to the elite. It is being used to drive the destruction of various aspects of society, including education, healthcare and democracy, and has led to the suppression of individual rights and freedoms.

Collectivism is contrasted with individualism, which emphasises personal autonomy and personal responsibility.

It is collectivism which is destroying our world and our humanity, Dr. Vernon Coleman writes....<<<Read More>>>...

Homelessness Minister Threw Out Her Tenants – Then Increased Rent by £700 a Month

Labour Homelessness Minister Rushanara Ali threw four tenants out of her east London townhouse before relisting the property for £700 a month more in rent, amid calls for her to resign. The i Paper has the story.

The landlord MP has previously spoken out against “private renters being exploited” and said her Government will “empower people to challenge unreasonable rent increases”.

Labour’s Renters’ Rights Bill, which will become law next year, prohibits landlords who have ended a tenancy in order to sell a property from relisting it for higher rent until at least six months after tenants have moved out.

A source close to Ali said her tenants’ had been told their tenancy would not be renewed and were offered the chance to stay on a rolling contract before she put the house up for sale – and the property was only relisted for rent after she did not find a buyer.

A spokesperson for Ali said: “Rushanara takes her responsibilities seriously and complied with all relevant legal requirements.”

Conservative Shadow Housing Secretary, James Cleverly, called on Ali to consider her position, saying the allegations “would be an example of the most extreme hypocrisy and she should not have the job as Homelessness Minister”.

Last March, Ali rented out the four-bedroom townhouse, less than a mile from London’s Olympic Park, for £3,300 a month....<<<Read More>>>...

Reeves in Tears as Starmer Refuses to Guarantee She Will Stay in Job

Chancellor Rachel Reeves was visibly in tears during Prime Minister’s Questions today as Sir Keir Starmer refused to guarantee she would remain in role following last night’s welfare reform humiliation. The Telegraph has more.

Sir Keir Starmer failed to repeat a guarantee that Rachel Reeves will remain in her role as Chancellor for the whole of Labour’s first term in power as the Prime Minister remained under huge pressure over his welfare bill climbdown.

Kemi Badenoch took aim at a visibly emotional Ms Reeves during Prime Minister’s Questions and labelled the Chancellor a “human shield” for Sir Keir’s “incompetence”.

The Chancellor could be seen wiping tears from her face during PMQs although the exact reason why was not immediately clear.

Downing Street promised in January this year that Ms Reeves would remain as Chancellor for the duration of the five year parliament.

Mrs Badenoch asked Sir Keir to repeat the commitment.

Gesturing towards Ms Reeves, the Tory leader said: “She looks absolutely miserable. She looks absolutely miserable. Labour MPs are going on the record saying that the Chancellor is toast and the reality is that she is a human shield for his incompetence.

“In January he said that she would be in post until the next election. Will she really?”

Sir Keir said: “She certainly won’t [directed at Mrs Badenoch]. I have to say I am always cheered up when she asks me questions or responds to a statement because she always makes a complete mess of it and shows just how unserious and irrelevant they are.”

Mrs Badenoch then noted that Sir Keir had not guaranteed his Chancellor’s future.

“How awful for the Chancellor that he couldn’t confirm that she will stay in place,” she said....<<<Read More>>>...

Net Zero “Harms Human Lives”, Trump’s Envoy Warns Starmer

Tommy Joyce, America’s Assistant Energy Secretary, told a conference in London set to be attended by the Prime Minister and opened by Energy Secretary Ed Miliband that climate zealotry is a threat to economic and national security.

“There is no national or economic security without energy security, and energy security is not possible without access to secure, affordable and reliable access to energy,” he said.

“Unfortunately, the focus during the last [US] administration was on climate politics and policies leading to that scarcity. These policies have been embraced by many, not just the United States, and harm human lives.”

His warning came after Mr Miliband opened the summit with a declaration that “home-grown, low-carbon power is our nationally chosen route to energy security”, warning that reliance on gas cost Britain dearly when international prices surged following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Mr Joyce highlighted America’s exports of liquefied natural gas to countries including the UK and stressed the importance of cheap energy to prosperity.

He said: “Energy is essential to absolutely everything that we do. It’s the one industry that undergirds all of the others we know.

“A highly energised society raises people out of poverty and brings health, wealth and opportunity, wherever it’s found in abundance. When and where their energy is scarce or restricted, humans suffer.”

Mr Joyce also stressed the dangers of depending on China for the rare earth metals used in wind turbines, warning against “trading one form of dependency for another, putting abstract emissions goals – in the interest of our adversaries – first, and the security of our people last”....<<<Read More>>>...

Travel chaos as Heathrow airport closes after blaze at electrical substation

Counter terror police are leading the investigation into the "unprecedented" electrical substation fire that has closed down London Heathrow, stopping more than 1,300 flights as engineers tried to restore power to the airport on Friday.

Airlines face days of disruption with hundreds of thousands of scheduled passengers already unable to fly in and out of Europe's busiest airport, after what ministers said was an "unusual and unprecedented incident".

London fire brigade was called shortly after 11pm on Thursday to a fire at an electrical substation in Hayes, west London, with power also cut to thousands of homes.

More than 70 firefighters tackled the blaze, which the brigade said at 8am was under control, with more than 20,000 litres of oil having caught fire in a transformer. Officers said that despite the acrid smell, there was no air quality danger to the public.

The cause of the fire is unknown, although security sources indicated there was no immediate indication of foul play.

A spokesperson for the Met Police said:  "We are working with the London Fire Brigade to establish the cause of the fire which remains under investigation. While there is currently no indication of foul play we retain an open mind at this time.

"Given the location of the substation and the impact this incident has had on critical national infrastructure, the Met's Counter Terrorism Command is now leading enquiries.

"This is due to the specialist resources and capabilities within that command that can assist in progressing this investigation at pace to minimise disruption and identify the cause." The detectives have the security clearance to access sensitive material as investigators try to establish the fire's cause.

Heathrow is regarded a potential target for terrorism or sabotage, the incidence of which, backed by state actors, has been rising in recent years.

National Grid said substation fires were "extraordinarily rare" and it was not able to "rule anything in or out"....<<<Read More>>>...

Manchester City 1 2 Manchester United

Manchester United struck twice in the closing minutes to stun Manchester City in a dramatic derby conclusion at Etihad Stadium.

Josko Gvardiol's first-half header looked to be giving City victory in a largely dismal clash until United staged a remarkable turnaround to give new manager Ruben Amorim a landmark win early in his reign.

Amad Diallo was United's star performer, winning the 88th minute penalty that saw Bruno Fernandes equalise after the youngster was fouled by Matheus Nunes.

As City tried to regroup, Diallo then pounced in the closing seconds of normal time to score from a tight angle.

It was a rich reward for United boss Amorim after he ruthlessly axed Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho from his match day squad, but then suffered an early blow when Mason Mount was struck down by his latest injury, limping off after only 14 minutes.

Opportunities were at a premium in a game largely made up of desperate mediocrity, United looking to have wasted their best opportunity to equalise 17 minutes from time when Fernandes raced clear on to Rasmus Hojlund's pass, only to lift his finish over the onrushing Ederson but wide.

The game was turned on its head in that frantic finale, City's fans furious and jeering their side while United's followers celebrated wildly in their corner of Etihad Stadium....<<<Read More>>>...

UK consumers have paid £1 billion this year to turn off wind farms and start-up gas plants

The UK is on track to waste a record amount of wind power in 2024. The grid can’t cope with the increase in the number of wind farms and blustery weather and so wind farms are being paid to turn off.

“So far this year, the UK has spent more than £1 billion ($1.3 billion) in ‘congestion costs’ to turn off plants that can’t deliver electricity because of grid constraints, and switch on others,” Bloomberg reports. A cost that is ultimately borne by consumers.

The UK has boosted its offshore wind fleet by 50% in the past five years and plans to double it in the next five years, but the grid hasn’t expanded at the same pace, resulting in the operator paying wind farms to turn off.

So far in 2024, the UK has spent over £1 billion in “congestion costs” to turn off wind farms that can’t deliver electricity due to grid constraints and switch on others, with Scotland’s offshore wind farms being particularly affected.

The problem of curtailed generation has become increasingly common, with this year’s congestion costs exceeding last year’s total and second only to 2022 when power prices were almost three times as high...<<<Read More>>>...

We live in the age of Snitches and Sneaks

We live in an age where snitching and sneaking are encouraged. No doubt this will go towards boosting people’s social credit scores.

Governments are introducing laws to encourage people to report their friends, neighbours, and colleagues to the authorities. A single complaint that is in line with the Great Reset can lead to significant changes while thousands protesting against the Great Reset are ignored or dismissed.Today, sneaking and snitching are encouraged and are an essential part of “social credit.” The latest fashion for reporting any slight or mild offence or even imagined to the police is also part of “social credit.” And the authorities positively encourage the public to see offence in every word or gesture and make their complaints accordingly. Anyone accused of causing “distress” to a complainant (usually described as a victim) may be questioned, harassed, arrested and tossed into a cell for 24 hours to decourager les autres.

We live in discouraging times and things are, I fear, only going to get worse.

We already live in the age of the snitch and the sneak. Governments everywhere are constantly bringing in new laws to encourage people to ‘tell’ on their friends, neighbours and workmates. The aim, of course, is to ensure that none of us trusts anyone else.

And in this new world, of course, it only takes one complaint to produce a result.

Biden administration to let migrants skip ICE check-ins in New York City

President Joe Biden's administration is "silently" rushing to roll out new policies that would make it easier for migrants to enter the U.S. illegally.

A report in the New York Post indicated that the outgoing administration intends to launch an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) portal app starting in early December in New York City that will allow migrants to bypass in-person check-ins to their local ICE office.

Insiders raised concerns and warned that the move is a "half-baked" plan that will lead more asylum seekers to abscond.

The app, which is set to be launched soon in the form of a pilot program in select cities, will allow the millions of illegal migrants released into the U.S. to await their asylum proceedings and check in with immigration officials on a phone or computer, two sources familiar with the app revealed.

Department of Homeland Security sources told The Post that the app will make it easier for migrants to flee authorities in part because the software has proven to be glitchy and unreliable.

Even when it's working correctly, the new app doesn't check for past arrests or outstanding warrants – something the current system tied to in-person appointments does, sources said.

That's just one of a handful of initiatives being pushed through before inauguration day – including allowing migrants to contest government orders to undergo electronic tracking while they await their immigration appointments.

The Biden admin is also working to make changes that allow migrants to stay in the United States. In yet another move, while the illegal immigrants wait to plead their asylum cases in immigration courts, they will no longer be required to check in with their local ICE field office every few months.

Critics of the illegal border policies of Biden note that under his presidency the number of migrants illegally crossing the southern border exploded, leading to massive lines and backlogs at ICE field offices. And causing many of the problems that systems are encountering today....<<<Read More>>>...

Here's why Trump won the election, and what he may do now

Like him or not, the controversial Republican's return to office marks a crucial turning point - it remains to be seen in which direction.

Donald Trump has won the US election. After serving as the 45th president between 2017 and 2021, he will now be the 47th. Trump has not merely defeated but trounced his opponent Kamala Harris. She was crushed so badly, she even failed to address her supporters at the traditional election party and instead - there's really no nicer word for it - slunk away.

Claiming his victory, meanwhile, Trump told his voters that they - and he, of course - had "made history." He is very likely to be right about that.

While rhetoric about "the most important election in our lifetime" has been badly overused for campaigning purposes, in this case, Trump's second victory really is special. The fact that he is the first president since the 1880s to win a second term after being out of office is the least of it. Such trivia will make for good game-show questions. But what turns the return of the Donald - as he used to be called semi-affectionately when still generally mistaken for a buffoon - into a historic event is that it is occurring at a very peculiar moment.

We are witnessing the decline and fall of, at least, American supremacy, and, possibly, of the American polity as we know it. At the same time, a multipolar world order is emerging. It is against that background of historic change that we have to understand the Trump Phenomenon...<<<Read More>>>...

Keir Starmer’s Labour Takes the Art of Political Lying to a Whole New Level

Keir Starmer’s Labour has taken the ‘art’ of political lying to a whole new level, says Nick Timothy in the Telegraph. Denial after denial that it would raise taxes before the biggest tax-raising Budget in history. Here’s an excerpt.

Before the election Rachel Reeves said “we don’t need higher taxes. What we need is growth… and I have no plans to increase any taxes beyond those which we have already set out.” Then, Reeves said she would increase taxes by £8.5 billion, spending by £9.5 billion, and borrowing by £3.5 billion by 2028/29. Last week, she raised taxes by £40 billion, spending by £76 billion and borrowing by £36 billion.

This weekend, Reeves justified her broken promise, telling the BBC, “I didn’t know about the state of the public finances” before the election. But this was a lie on top of another lie. In June, before the election, her secret tax plans were reported in the Guardian. Labour sources had blabbed, saying upon arrival at the Treasury Reeves would claim to be surprised by her inheritance and seek a “doctor’s mandate” to raise taxes. “That is not what they are presenting the public with right now,” the sources admitted.

Such was the suspicion that Reeves would do this, she was forced to deny it in a pre-election interview in the Financial Times. “We’ve got the OBR now,” she said, explaining that the independent Office for Budget Responsibility meant “you don’t need to win an election” to know the details of the public finances. Among the tax rises she ruled out in that interview, two – capital gains tax and changes to inheritance tax reliefs – were in the Budget, and proposed in a report written by Reeves in 2018. …

And her claims about the so-called fiscal hole have also fallen apart. Before the Budget, the Treasury briefed the media that the OBR would publish a full breakdown of the £22 billion figure, and justify what Reeves has been saying since July. But that is not what happened. The OBR report identified £9.5 billion of in-year spending pressures – pressures of the kind that arise every year, and were never denied by the Tories – and said the remainder of Reeves’s claim was explained by Labour’s own public sector pay deals. “Nothing in our review,” the OBR Chairman said, “was a legitimisation of that £22 billion.” …

Reeves and her colleagues have taken the ‘art’ of political lying to a whole new level. Before the election the Environment Secretary, Steve Reed, said Labour had “no intention” of changing agricultural property relief for inheritance tax, and said it was “desperate nonsense” to claim otherwise. But the Budget cut the relief for thousands of farms. …<<<Read More>>>...

RFK Jr. says a Trump White House would immediately push to remove fluoride from water

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said Saturday that a Trump administration would, on its first day, "advise all U.S. water systems to remove fluoride from public water."

Kennedy linked fluoride to various illnesses, despite major medical associations supporting water fluoridation, which they say is safe and a benefit to public health.

"President @realDonaldTrump and First Lady @MELANIATRUMP want to Make America Healthy Again," the former Democratic presidential hopeful wrote in a post to X, tagging Michael Connett, an attorney who has led litigation that opposes the fluoridation of public drinking water.

Kennedy, a vaccine skeptic who has a history of pushing conspiracy theories, is primed to play a key role in a future Trump administration's health policy. Since dropping out of the presidential race and endorsing Trump, Kennedy has frequently appeared on the campaign stumping for the former president, and Trump said at a rally this week that if he is elected, Kennedy is "going to work on health and women's health."

Trump has embraced Kennedy. At an event in Arizona earlier this week, the former president said that Kennedy "can do anything he wants" in a potential Trump administration.<<<Read More>>>...

If Kamala wins, prepare for climate change authoritarianism and the destruction of America’s economy

When it comes to "green" energy policies, California is often looked at as the model and example for other states. Did you know, though, that California ranks barely above the world average for so-called "fossil fuel" usage, even as it sits on large reserves full of crude oil and natural gas?

With Election Day right around the corner, one of the issues voters are voting on this election cycle is energy policy. Donald Trump talks a big game about reinvigorating America's energy independence through the expanded use of native fossil fuels while Kamala Harris wants more climate authoritarianism, which in the end will only lead to the destruction of America's economy.

California's Kern County – Kamala used to be attorney general in California – is a gold mine for fossil fuels. It boasts some of the world's largest oil fields with an estimated reserve of somewhere around 27 billion barrels. Since that oil is considered "heavy" oil, making it more difficult to extract and refine, California developed some of the cleanest and most advanced methods of purifying that oil without destroying the environment – a win-win, right?

The problem is that, thanks to the climate policies of Democrats, California currently imports around 75 percent of its oil and 90 percent of its natural gas. On top of that, Democrats in California are also forcing the state's residents to subsidize expensive "renewable" energy programs based on wind and solar.

It is a mess, in other words, and one that Kamala wants to replicate on a national scale. Should she end up getting installed into the White House, Kamala will turn the entire country into California, but in all the wrong ways....<<<Read More>>>...

Keir Starmer signals the introduction of further 'nanny state measures' to prevent ill health - as PM commits to supervised toothbrushing for young children

Sir Keir Starmer has signalled that he will bring in further ‘nanny state’ measures to help prevent ill health.

The Prime Minister gave the example of teaching children to brush their teeth as he suggested he could introduce more interventionist policies.

He was also asked about the smoking ban he is planning to introduce, with further suggested measures such as banning smoking in beer gardens.

Asked if he was looking at taxing ultra-processed foods, or the salt and sugar content in products or increasing labelling to improve the public’s health, he did not directly respond.

But he cited the example of supervised tooth brushing before saying there were ‘other things that we will put out there for consultation’....<<<Read More>>>...

Labour Party policy will kill thousands of old people this winter

So, now it’s clear: the UK’s ruthless and uncaring Labour Party will destroy the elderly first (everyone else will be next). Labour Party policy will kill thousands of old people this winter.

The decision by the UK’s new Labour Government to punish and kill many of Britain’s oldest and most vulnerable citizens by removing the life-saving winter fuel allowance should not come as a surprise. After all, far left-wing politicians know that most elderly people aren’t stupid enough to vote for them. This is partly punishment.

Starmer’s communist government is committed to the wicked insanity known as “Net Zero” – the ruthless plan to pander to the privileged, vocal and ignorant few by reducing the size of the population, killing the elderly, the sick and the truly poor (and therefore unwanted citizens) by forcing the UK into an energy crisis and by destroying what is left of hope and ambition and by devising policies which will cause the greatest harm to the weakest and most vulnerable members of society.

No one should be fooled by the Labour Party’s fake concern for the poor and the sick. The Labour Party consists of men and women (and probably inbetweenies) who are securely settled within the Establishment and just as rich and well-connected as the odious Tory party plutocrats who were rejected by a furious electorate.

Now that an overtly communist government is in charge the only thing that is going to change is that the State is going to get ever bigger and more ruthless and intrusive and individuals are going to be crushed into submission.

We are now racing at top speed into the inhuman world that Orwell, Huxley and Waugh warned us about – a world of privileged bureaucrats and ruthless, insane billionaires.

Don’t be fooled by Starmer’s paper-thin impersonation of a harmless council bureaucrat. Sir Keir Starmer is a lawyer married to a lawyer, a multi-millionaire who lives in a million pound plus home, owns valuable land, earns the best part of £200,000 a year and who, during the last Parliament, did a passably convincing impersonation of a footballer’s wife by grabbing £76,000 worth of free suits and tickets for pop concerts and football matches. Starmer and his odious supporters are Britain’s version of the Soviet politburo – men and women who enjoyed great privileges and perks which were denied to the starving and oppressed serfs.

Taking away the winter fuel allowance from the poorest of the poor – the elderly struggling to survive on the Western world’s poorest pension and unwilling to claim charity or benefits – was an unforgivable political act of premeditated cruelty. The result will be that the number of old people dying of the cold next winter will rocket to well over 100,000. They know that will happen, of course....<<<Read More>>>...
