So What Is A Pathworking?

A pathworking is a journey between the worlds and one of the most exciting excursions we can take. It offers a path through the landscapes of the mind, ways that are as yet barely explored, to the last undiscovered frontier. Pathworkings are doorways between the known and the physical, the unknown and the non-corporeal. They are accomplished through the medium of the creative imagination – the anvil on which all things created and used by mankind are made.

They can cause physical effects in the everyday world, which is the main reason why they have been in secret for so long. It is also the reason why rigorous training in the control of imagination faculty is such a feature in magical schools and orders.

Scientists tell us that the journey we build in our mind is as real to the brain as our daily experiences. The world of the subconscious mind is a real world with real beings. The water is just as wet, the sun is just as hot. The only difference is that we can do things in that world we cannot do in this world. Why? Because in the inner world we admit to no barriers. We use the same powers and senses we have in the real world, but there we believe in them. We think we are dreaming, but it IS real and can use the finer matter of that world to change this one ………

How to Break Bad Habits & Create Lasting Change

Breaking bad habits can feel like an uphill battle. Maybe it is checking your phone constantly, distracting yourself when you’re trying to focus, engaging in destructive habits when we don’t feel great.

Whatever the bad habit might be, what’s happening is that it has been wired into our brain and body via repetition. This means, that through awareness and repetition, we can break those habits and wire new ones.

Neuroscience provides a clear roadmap for making meaningful changes. In this piece, I’ll dive into the science behind how habits are formed and how we can leverage the brain and body’s ability to rewire itself.

One thing we will learn as we go here is that part of the challenge many of us face when it comes to creating habits we don’t like is we have a difficult time being with sensations that are uncomfortable.

This is something we never learned to do effectively and often fear. It results in creating coping mechanisms (bad habits) to avoid feeling sensations we don’t like.

One key element of change is gaining the capacity to be with difficult sensations so we don’t build more bad habits in the long run. This helps us get to the root cause of bad habit creation....<<<Read More>>>....

Why Spiritual Teachers Always Point Us Towards Stillness for Awakening

Why do countless Spiritual Teachers, Sages, Saints, and Enlightened Beings emphasize the stillness of the mind as the key to self-realization and awakening?

Imagine the mind as a vast ocean, constantly moving with waves of thoughts, emotions, and desires. Throughout the ages, Spiritual Teachers, Sages, Saints, and Enlightened Beings have observed that within this sea of mental activity lies a deeper truth that cannot be grasped through movement or activity. It is within stillness that the surface settles, revealing the clear reflection of what has always been there: our true nature.

These revered figures didn’t point to stillness simply as an antidote to chaos but as the very doorway to awakening. In the absence of mental chatter and the endless stream of desires, we begin to experience life not as fragmented moments but as a unified whole, where the sense of “I” expands beyond personal identity....<<<Read More>>>...

A Word On 'Aura Soma'

The very name Aura-Soma indicates that this system is intimately connected with this subject.

The name was received in inspiration soon after the birth of the first bottles. "Aura" means "an emanation" or "energy field", a field that is commonly perceived in terms of light and colour. "Soma" means "body" as in "psychosomatic" for example.

The name Aura-Soma declares the intention of the system and the potential it offers: a connection between an energy field - light - and the body. As "Aura" and "Soma" are connected by the hyphen, so the light field and the body are not separate but in fact two aspects of a deeper underlying unity, part of one energy continuum.

This idea is no longer foreign to the world of science, but is borne out by the quantum physicists who work at the cutting edge of the scientific investigation into the nature of reality. Since the turn of this century their discoveries have seen an evolution in scientific understanding leading to the awareness that the smallest building blocks of life are not really solid at all but are forces of energy. It is work that has the most profound implications for how we see ourselves and the universe around us.

The physical world, of which the body is a part, is ultimately not solid or constant but simply the product of an energy field. A field within which forces of energy seem to turn on and off at random, causing the smallest particles to appear and disappear. This is almost impossible to truly comprehend since at our level of reality it implies that everything of the material world - including our physical bodies, everything that provides structure and solidity, is potentially twinkling in and out of existence. Thus at the most profound level of reality science is finding a light / body interface.

Let's explore further how light and colour interface with the material world in which we live. The world is full of coloured objects. With the technological wizardry available to us today colour has largely become superficial, a consumer choice in the material world, an incidental to the substance and structure of each object. However in the natural world, a world which in reality we remain merely a part, colour can be seen to provide a fundamental clue to the real nature of each thing. Colour operates as a signature to inform the beholder of the object's gifts and qualities. The violet of lavender and amethyst for example indicating the soothing quality of each.

It is called the Science of Signatures and its secrets and knowledge have been passed on down through the ages albeit in a quiet way.

Within Aura-Soma colour is not superficial but the key to the whole system. Until each empty bottle receives its oil and water fractions it is indistinguishable from every other empty bottle. In Equilibrium it is the colours (sometimes bright, sometimes subtle, always beautiful) that make the difference. However what is particularly striking about the colours in Equilibrium is that they are illuminated by light passing through them. While all material objects are coloured, it is nearly always a reflection of light off the outer surface that we see.

Bodies are material and light bounces off matter. Light and matter are different, separate. Yet with something transparent such as Equilibrium this distinction begins to break down. Here light is able to shine through matter.....<<<<Read The Full Article Here>>>...

Right Where We Are

DailyOm: Many spiritual seekers feel called to far-flung places across the globe in the interest of pursuing the path of their enlightenment. This may indeed be the right course of action for certain people, but it is by no means necessary to attaining an enlightened consciousness. Enlightenment can take root anywhere on earth, as long as the seeker is an open and ready vessel for higher consciousness. All we need is a powerful intention, and a willingness to do the work necessary to moving forward on our path.

In terms of spiritual practice, at this moment, there are more tools available to more people than at any other time in history. We have access to so much wisdom through the vehicles of books, magazines, the Internet, television, and film. In addition, the time-honored practice of meditation is free, and sitting quietly everyday, listening to the universe, is a great way to start the journey within. There is further inspiration in the fact that the greatest teachers we have are our own life experiences, and they come to us every day with new lessons and new opportunities to learn. If we look at the people around us, we may realize that we have a spiritual community already intact, and if we don’t, we can find one, if not in our own neighborhood, then on-line....read more>>>....

How to Practice Self-Observation (Prompts and Meditation)

Self-observation seems pretty basic and even a little mediocre or like some pedestrian psychological technique on the surface.

But in my many years of exploring and walking the inner path, I’ve found that self-observation is THE most crucial practice, skill, and undertaking EVER. Full stop. Period. Fini!

At the time of writing, this might not be common knowledge, but there are actually two levels to self-observation – the latter being largely unknown to most people.

I’m going to show you how to practice both types of self-observation in this guide so that you come to the irrevocable conclusion that many through the ages have discovered there is ultimately no “you” or separate self; there is only life living itself!

(I know this may sound odd, but it’s at the crux of most spiritual and religious paths; it’s just put in different ways: the kingdom of heaven, Self-realization, moksha, anatta, oneness, etc.).

Firstly, let’s get the basic definition out of the way...<<<Read More>>>...

Unlock Your Inner Magic

We all know inspiration when we feel it. It is a force that enlivens us and activates us to do something — we might dance, sing, paint the house, or envision a new career. We might call an old friend or plan a trip abroad. Whatever the case, doing what we do from a place of inspiration makes all things seem possible. Inspiration sometimes comes out of nowhere, landing unexpectedly in the midst of your life and lifting you out of your habitual mind and into a higher level of seeing. However, we can be more intentional with our relationship with inspiration than just waiting for it to come to us. There are many ways to cultivate its presence, from journaling to scrapbooking to visiting with a particularly interesting friend. Finding what inspires you and consciously cultivating it will give you access to new ways of thinking and energy you didn’t know you had.

Some people find that frequent trips into nature inspire them. Others have a box full of objects — a seashell, an old photograph, or even a collection of rocks — that does the trick. There are as many ways to find inspiration as there are people looking for it. If you already know what inspires you, find a way to incorporate it into your life on a regular basis. If you aren’t sure what inspires you or if it has changed, take some time to think about it. When was the last time you felt the spark of your imagination? When was the last time you acted on an impulse that felt totally right? When we are in the presence of what inspires us, we hear our inner guidance more clearly and we have the energy to follow its cues.

If it has been a while since you have been touched by inspiration, you may feel listless and dissatisfied. Know that you can turn things around by remembering what lights you up and bringing that into your life....<<<Daily OM>>>...

Ways to stay sane in a world gone mad

The latest woke vs. conservative outrage. A new war. The next insane policy. The shattering of our dearest assumptions and sacred cows. A novel theory that blows your mind. A crazy conspiracy theory you begin to suspect is true. Factions in the alternative media and various grifters at each other's throats. Anger and insults every day. Glued to our screens, our brains get scrambled until we lose touch with reality, with who we are, with what we know. Addictions of various kinds. Our lives pierced by a virtual reality we can't escape.

Maneuvering this situation requires us to keep sane. But how? Here are some things that have helped me...<<<Read More>>>...

Breaking Free from Negative Thoughts: Strategies for a Positive Mindset

Negative thoughts can be overwhelming and can have a significant impact on our lives. They can interfere with our ability to enjoy life, affect our relationships with others, and even lead to physical health problems. Although integrating your shadow self (and with it any negative personal traits) is important for spiritual development, being trapped in a cyle of negative thoughts helps nobody. Here’s how to recognise if you have a problem – and how to break free if you do.

Identify Negative Thought Patterns

Negative thoughts can be difficult to identify, especially if they are deeply ingrained. The first step in breaking free from negative thoughts is to become aware of them. Start by paying attention to the language you use when you talk to yourself. Do you tend to use negative words and phrases? Do you focus on the worst-case scenario? Negative thinking patterns can manifest in many different ways, such as black and white thinking, overgeneralization, and personalization.

Black and white thinking involves seeing things in absolutes – things are either all good or all bad. Overgeneralization involves making broad assumptions based on limited evidence. Personalization involves taking things personally and assuming that other people’s actions are directed towards you. By understanding the different types of negative thinking patterns, you can start to recognize them in your own thoughts....<<<Read More>>>....

A Word On "Biological Rhythm"

Biological rhythm is the periodic biological fluctuation in an organism that corresponds to, and is in response to, periodic environmental change. Examples of such change include cyclical variations in the relative position of Earth to the Sun and to the Moon and in the immediate effects of such variations—e.g., day alternating with night, high tide alternating with low tide.

The internal mechanism by which such a rhythmic phenomenon occurs and is maintained even in the absence of the apparent environmental stimulus is termed a biological clock.

When an animal that functions according to such a clock is rapidly translocated to a geographic point where the environmental cycle is no longer synchronous with the animal’s cycle, the clock continues for a time to function synchronously with the original environmental cycle.

Humans similarly transported over great distances often experience fatigue and lowered efficiency for several days, a phenomenon known as “jet lag,” or jet syndrome...<<<Read More>>>...

Blessing Space

Physical space acts like a sponge, absorbing the radiant of all who pass through it. And, more likely than not, the spaces we move through each day have seen many people come and go. We have no way of knowing whether the energy footprints left behind by those who preceded us will invigorate us or drain us. Yet we can control the energy footprint we leave behind for others. In blessing each space we enter, we orchestrate a subtle energy shift that affects not only our own experiences in that space but also the experiences of the individuals who will enter the space after us. While we may never see the effects our blessing has had, we can take comfort in the fact that we have provided grace for those that follow after us.

When you bless a room or an entire building, you leave a powerful message of love and light for all those who will come after you. Your blessings thus have myriad effects on the environments through which you pass. Old, stagnant energy is cleared, creating a vacuum into which fresh and invigorating energy can freely flow. The space is thus rendered harmonious and nourishing, and it becomes a hub from which positive feelings are transmitted. Intent is the key component of the blessings you leave in your physical wake. If your intent involves using your own consciousness as a tool for selflessly spreading grace, your blessings will never go awry. Whether you feel more comfortable performing a solo blessing or prefer to call upon your spirit guides for assistance, visualize each space you enter becoming free of toxins, chaos, and negativity as you speak your blessing. Then imagine the resultant emptiness being replaced by pure, healing white light and loving energy. Even a quick mindful thought of love can bless a space.

This type of blessing is cumulative and will grow each time you bestow it. Try blessing every home, business, and office you visit for an entire week and observing the effects of your goodwill. Your affirmative energy footprint will help brighten your day as you contemplate your blessing’s future impact on your siblings in humanity and your environment...<<<Read More>>>...

How do I raise my vibration? Spirituality tips for living a high-vibe life

You have probably heard people talk about good vibrations, high vibrations, and low vibrations.

Is this just a saying, or is there something more to it?

Everything in the universe consists of molecules which move at divergent paces. This comprises trees, bodies, rocks, animals, thought processes and feelings. Human vibrations are constructed out of all matter; from physical material up to the way one communicates their musings. To put it shortly, some molecules move swiftly while others take a slower path; there are higher and lower vibrations to be found.

Vibrations can be seen as indicative of a person’s emotional state or outlook. High vibrations are usually correlated with emotions and feelings that are more positive, such as love, kindness, forgiveness and serenity. Comparatively, fewer positive connotations are associated with lower vibrations: hatred, fear, greed and depression. We will examine both lower and higher vibrations further below.

It may be hard not to feel powerless when thinking about the future of our planet and all its inhabitants. However, boosting your energetic frequency is one of the most meaningful ways you can support the world. By lifting yourself up, you are empowered to help lift others in the process. This is how we can work together to increase the collective consciousness....<<<Read More>>>.....

How To Use A Crystal Ball

It’s the stereotypical image of a fortune teller – a woman in a headscarf, waving her hands over a crystal ball and conjuring up images of that elusive tall, dark, handsome stranger – but a crystal ball is still to this day a very useful tool to have in your psychic box. Crystal ball gazing is accessible to everyone, and although difficult at first, it’s definitely something which improves with practice.

If you’re new to crystal ball gazing or learning how to scry, the images probably won’t make sense at first or you might not see images at all.  Don’t let this frustrate you. Crystal ball gazing takes time and practice to perfect.  The more you practice on using your crystal ball, the better you will get.

When you are ready, hold the crystal ball for just a moment, and relax. If you have a specific question in mind, ask it in your mind now, or just ask for you to be shown whatever will be helpful to you at this time.

Then place the ball onto its stand, or onto a dark cushion or cloth. And gaze. Literally.

You need to stare at the ball intently. Try not to blink or to look away. Hold your gaze. It doesn’t matter (in fact it might even help) if your eyes become unfocused. If you’re good at the Magic Eye pictures, you’ll be great at crystal gazing! It may take some time, but eventually you should start to see a mist form in or over the crystal ball. At this point, don’t break your concentration – the mist should clear quickly.

After the mist, you will start to see images. Remember – these images are in your mind, not in the ball itself. You may feel as though they are in the ball, and don’t break your gaze, but what you’re really seeing is in your third eye.

Don’t try to interpret the images you see as they come along, or you will break the concentration. Just let the images come and go. When the session is over, trust that you will remember the most important ones.

After a moment or two, the images will start to fade; the mist may return or you might just get nothing. At this point, you can finally relax your gaze. Look away and readjust your eyes. Then as quickly as you feel able, write down the images which came to mind, to be interpreted later. Get up, move around, turn on the lights....<<<Read More>>>...

How to Practice Self-Inquiry (“Who Am I?”) Meditation

Within a lot of spiritual circles, we hear terms like “inner peace” and “Oneness” thrown around a lot.

In search of these fantastical ideas that promise relief from suffering, we hop around from one retreat, workshop, teacher, or book to another … and another, and another.

Eventually, many spiritual seekers end up with a kind of “spiritual hangover” or inexplicable type of exhaustion that doesn’t seem to go away no matter how much yoga, trauma healing, plant medicine, and other alternative therapies we do.

In fact, it gradually dawns on us that peeling back the onion of the self seems to be a never-ending process. It seems to be that the more we try to self-heal, the more we find to heal.
It’s onions all the way down.

And in a sense, we’re being given the poison and sold the cure. So with this kind of disillusionment, with this kind of never-ending self-perpetuating quest for more-more-more, where do we go next? What do we do? How do we slow down? How do we stop...<<<Read More>>>...

How to Discover Yourself Through Your Own Philosophy

There are now over eight billion people on the planet. We each have a different psychophysiological reaction to any given stimuli, no matter how minute the difference. From forks to forklifts, spoons to spoonerisms, folklore to philosophy. Every single one of us perceives everything differently.

The way I perceive the concept of something as simple as a tree is fundamentally different than the way every single other person perceives the “same” concept. This is due to our historically unique experiences with “trees.”

The memories we form influence our experience of perceiving trees. I may have fallen out of a tree and broken my arm. You may be blind and can only touch or smell a tree. I may have chopped down twenty trees to build a house. You may have crashed into a tree and totaled your car. The point is, every single historical interaction with a tree has formed a unique interpretation of “tree” in our psychophysiology.

The same thing applies to abstract concepts such as love, God, and philosophy. We each have historically unique experiences regarding these abstract concepts as well.

Which brings me to the point of this article: we should own up to the fact that we each have a devastatingly unique perception of all things, including philosophy. And rather than merely piggyback, kowtow, or place all our eggs into a single historical philosophy forsaking our individuality, we should make our individuality foremost and create our own philosophy out of the mulch, fodder, and compost of past philosophies.

We should double down on our uniqueness and fatten our individuality on the food of philosophies past.

Most people settle upon one established philosophy (religion, ideology, worldview), unaware that they have a unique perception of what that philosophy is. It is already the case that we perceive the concept of philosophy in a fundamentally different way than others do even within the same philosophy. Developing our own unique philosophy is simply becoming aware and honoring our unique perception....<<<Read More>>>...

Set Your Inner Thoughts Back To Default

Today is the day to take positive steps towards changing the situations in your life. By thinking differently, by reacting to inner dialogue in a different way ... it is possible to break out of the mould that entombs you in those thought processes which are responsible for manifesting the unending imprisonment around you.

It is just that one thought; like the straw that broke the horse's back, which can change everything.

Most people look into their lives and strive to go big with the changes on the outside and wonder why nothing every changes.

It happens within. Manifestation happens inwardly and your reality is shaped on what you think and feel. It is a projection of what is happening inside you.Change now, think in a different way. Break your daily routine, and no matter how small that different way is .. providing it sets off a chain reaction of new thoughts and new ideas, then it has worked.

Perceptions are controlled by direct impressions coming in the mind. Thoughts then develop those impressions into the way you interpret the situations you find yourself in. Then everything is set in stone, and it becomes your reality. So its time to be smart and recognise that your are thinking the wrong thooughts. You always think in the same way. No wonder life stays the same.

Instead of thinking the same old thing ... then finding yourself doing the same old thing ... it is time to think in a new way. Start the change slowly and in small steps ... but, when you think differently. then your life will change.

The powers that be know very well this process. They rely on the media, the schooling and everything around us to shape our reality and keeping us in that reality. The reality they want us to be in. They control our perceptions which in turn means they control our thoughts. They then create the reality we are in their reality.

We break this cycle by recognising what are the wrong perceptions and impressions. We refuse to think in the way they want us to think. We must think freely. We must stop acting like we are slaves and useless 'eaters'. They are controlling our perceptions to think like this.

Go back to your inner dialogue and analyse how it makes you feel. Do your thoughts make you feel happy or sad? Do they make you feel angry with the world? That is where you start. It is time to reset those thoughts back to the default setting you had as a child. Be happy and be 'innocent' like the young child. Innocent means free from imposed burdens.

After resetting your thoughts back to default setting. Start rebuilding your life by creating the reality you want by getting your inner dialogue under control. You need to feel positive and optimistic ....

Its not easy in this crazy world .... but just simple steps in this process will make a difference - Matthew James

Instead of Chasing Happiness, Search the Darkness

It’s not happiness that holds the solution to your problems; it is your pain.

Your pain, your darkness, your greatest fears and shadows are the doorways toward your spiritual enlightenment.

Within the cobwebs, the dust, the dirt, the dank and rancid confines of your deepest pain, is the key to everything you’ve been searching for.

But most of us don’t understand that the only way around pain is through the pain.

Our age-old conditioning whispers in our ears that happiness can only be found when we improve this bit of ourselves, change that person, move to this place, get that job, reach this age, obtain that degree … and on and on, ad infinitum.

And there is a certain addictive quality to playing the happiness game. There’s always a new thrill to pursue, a new drama to play out, a new thing to obtain. Quite simply, the pursuit of happiness gives you something to do, so it makes you feel like you’re spending your time meaningfully.
In fact, most of our behavior is driven by the drive to chase happiness.

We chase the “ideal” relationship because we feel it will complete us. We chase higher-paying jobs and more money because we believe it will bring us more comfort and security which we believe will give us happiness. In wealthy countries, we buy things we don’t need which we believe will make us happy.

But once we reach or obtain what we’ve been pursuing, what happens? How long do we remain happy? Sure, we may feel happy for a week, a month, or even a single moment. But then the feeling passes, and we’re on the treadmill again, peddling frantically for the next “source” of happiness.

And the sad thing is that we often enter this exhausting rat race completely unconsciously and impulsively....<<<Read More>>>...
