World Economic Forum’s Klaus Schwab “Rigged Data” to Make Brexit Look Like Failure

Klaus Schwab, the face of the Davos conference in Switzerland for years, allegedly intervened in the WEF’s annual Global Competitiveness Report, which ranks countries on productivity and long-term prosperity.

In the 2017/2018 report, the UK’s ranking improved from seventh to fourth after a change in methodology.

But Mr Schwab, 87, wrote to staff that the UK “must not see any improvement”, as otherwise it would be “exploited by the Brexit camp”.

The final report published in 2017 showed the UK had dropped one place to eighth.

The WEF said at the time the Brexit vote had not fed into the rankings but warned it was likely to undermine UK competitiveness in the future.

“Brexit… will by definition weaken the UK’s markets component as integration with the EU is rolled back,” the report said.

At the time of the report, the UK had voted to leave the European Union but had not yet done so, and the difficult Brexit negotiations were at their beginning.

There was still discussion of the possibility of holding a second referendum in order to reverse the result of the 2016 vote.

Baroness Theresa May, the then-Prime Minister, spoke at the Davos summit in January 2017 and 2018. She said that Britain was looking to its post-Brexit future “with confidence” and planned to “build a truly Global Britain” based around free trade.

Allegations that Mr Schwab ordered the figures to be changed were made in an internal WEF investigation, launched after a whistleblower accused him of misusing funds, making suggestive remarks to younger staff and manipulating research....<<<Read More>>>...

Bank of England bailout looms as UK economy contracts: Families will pay the price

On Monday, GB News published an article stating that Britain’s finances are in deep trouble. Public debt has reached 96.4% of GDP and a deficit of 5.1%, prompting warnings of a potential Bank of England bailout.

Economists have warned that this could lead to higher interest rates and mortgage costs, impacting households and the economy. Families will pay the price due to high borrowing costs, debt and potential interest rate increases.

The British economy is facing significant challenges, with public debt reaching 96.4% of gross domestic product (“GDP”), which is substantially higher than the 61.2% recorded in 1976 when the country required support from the International Monetary Fund (“IMF”).

The current economic growth rate of 1.2% and deficit of 5.1% are indicative of weaknesses greater than those experienced during the tenure of Labour Prime Minister James Callaghan.

The Government’s borrowing costs have increased dramatically, with ten-year gilt yields at 4.6% and thirty-year gilts at 5.5%....<<<Read More>>>...

Another Oil Refinery Bites the Dust

On the last day of June, reports emerged that owners of the Prax Lindsey oil refinery in Lincolnshire had filed for insolvency. The news follows the closure of the INEOS Grangemouth refinery last year (and its conversion into an import terminal), putting another and even bigger question mark over Britain’s capacity to sustain its industries. The Prax site provided the UK with 10% of its crude oil-derived products, including Heathrow Airport – which itself suffered a catastrophic loss of power earlier this year, further signalling the state of the country’s infrastructure. In their attempt to understand what happened, however, much of the press is ignoring the Net Zero elephant in the room.

Details about the refinery going into receivership are thin on the ground because the news has only just emerged and the company is privately owned. But to my ears, the loss of petrochemicals plants sounds like an echo of the Net Zero policy agenda. The Labour Party came to power very clearly signalling its intention to destroy what remained of Britain’s domestic oil and gas sector. Leading the party’s green chorus, Ed Miliband promised blob lobbyists that there would be “no new North Sea oil and gas licences” – reversing the preceding government’s last-minute wobbles on the Net Zero agenda. So impressed with the Secretary of State were the Just Stop Oil collective, they cited his policy as the reason for winding down their operations....<<<Read More>>>...

Physics debunks climate alarmism: CO2 cannot overheat the planet – IT FEEDS THE WORLD

For decades, fearmongering politicians, corporate elites, and captured media have weaponized climate science to justify draconian regulations, wealth redistribution, and the destruction of modern energy systems.

Yet two of the world’s leading physicists — MIT’s Richard Lindzen and Princeton’s William Happer — have dismantled the so-called "climate crisis" with irrefutable physics. Their groundbreaking research proves that rising CO? levels cannot cause dangerous warming or extreme weather — but they do dramatically increase global food production, greening the planet and fighting starvation.

Key points:

CO? is not a "pollutant": At today’s atmospheric concentration (~420 parts per million), CO?’s greenhouse effect is saturated, meaning additional emissions have negligible impact on temperature.

Historical data contradicts alarmism: Over 600 million years, CO? levels were often 10x higher than today — with no runaway warming. Ice ages and warming cycles predate industrialization.

More CO? = more food: Doubling CO? to 840 ppm could boost crop yields by 40%, reversing famine threats. Plants thrive on this "miracle molecule."

Climate models fail: Government-pushed computer simulations overheat by 200–300% compared to real-world data. The IPCC’s "97% consensus" is a rigged political tool.

Net Zero = economic suicide: Eliminating fossil fuels would cripple agriculture (via nitrogen fertilizer loss), spike energy poverty, and cost $275 trillion by 2050 — with no climate benefit....<<<Read More>>>....

Miliband Poised to Scrap 600,000-a-Year Heat Pump Target

Ed Miliband is poised to scrap the 600,000-a-year target for heat pumps amid budget cuts that threaten his Net Zero ambitions, according to industry sources. The Telegraph has the story.

The previous government declared that from 2028, 600,000 heat pumps would be installed every year in British homes as part of the drive towards Net Zero.

But official communications regarding the deadline have been dropped since Labour took power last year, and any mention of installation targets was absent from the party’s 2024 manifesto.

Labour has refused to recommit to the 2028 deadline, which was set by Boris Johnson’s government in 2021. The Chancellor, Rachel Reeves, is expected to announce the changes in her spending review on June 11th.

It comes after the Telegraph revealed last week that cuts to the Department for Energy and Net Zero (DESNZ) budget could force Mr Miliband to reduce funding for his flagship Boiler Upgrade Scheme, which provides up to £7,500 to homeowners looking to install a ground or air source heat pump.

Funding for the scheme is expected to expire in 2028, and the Government is yet to confirm whether it will be renewed.

“The conversations I have been involved in suggest they’re planning to get rid of the 2028 deadline, and it’s not in any of their PR,” one source told the Telegraph. “Because the budget is limited and this Government isn’t the best with finances, the Warm Homes Plan will also get shrunk.”

The Energy Department, led by Mr Miliband, is said to be bracing for budget cuts as Ms Reeves frantically tries to fill an estimated £30 billion black hole in Britain’s finances....<<<Read More>>>...

Miliband Plots 15% Net Zero Tax on Gas Bills AND a ‘Family Bathtime Tax’ on Water Bills

Ed Miliband is hatching a plan to shift £4.8 billion in green levies from electricity to gas bills — a move that would push up the average gas bill by £120 a year to subsidise heat pumps. The Telegraph has the details.

The Energy Secretary is looking at removing the taxes that are applied to electricity as part of his plans to encourage more people to buy heat pumps.

But he has admitted Rachel Reeves, the Chancellor, would not cover the £4.8 billion-a-year cost, meaning the charges would likely have to be shifted on to gas bills.

Government ministers and Ofgem, the industry regulator, have spoken positively about the plans, which experts calculate would add 15% to the cost of gas. …

Officials are likely to argue that the average household, which uses a mix of gas and electricity, would face no increase in overall bills as a result.

That is because the levies would simply be shifted from their electric bill to their gas bill, with the cost balancing itself out overall.

Homes with heat pumps would benefit most, saving £420 a year, but families who are heavily reliant on gas boilers and cookers could end up worse off....<<<Read More>>>....

Original thinking is suppressed by the medical establishment

The medical establishment suppresses original thinking and initiative, with dissent being officially stifled, Dr. Vernon Coleman writes.

The medical establishment’s suppression of original thought has been exacerbated by its ties to the pharmaceutical industry, leading to the protection of ineffective and dangerous therapies and the silencing of critics who question established practices.

The system is designed to produce “unquestioning prescription signing zombies” who follow party lines and worship the pharmaceutical industry, rather than encouraging good doctors with insight, imagination and intuition to make diagnostic leaps and challenge established beliefs....<<<Read More>>>...

Net Zero is a national security threat

The UK’s Net Zero policy will lead to a significant reduction in electricity consumption, resulting in limited access to basic necessities like heating, hot food and lighting, writes Dr. Vernon Coleman.

He is not the only one expressing these concerns. Sir Richard Dearlove, former head of MI6, considers the Net Zero plan a “national security threat” and describes Ed Miliband’s policies as “completely mad.”

Two electric cars use as much electricity as a house.

So an insane couple with a house and two electric cars will double their electricity consumption at a time when the UK Government’s Net Zero policies mean that we will soon be reliant on whatever electricity can be produced by a bunch of useless windmills and a few acres of worthless solar panels. (Most of the so-called “green” electricity is produced by burning bits of wood which are brought over from America in huge diesel-drinking ships.)

What happened in Spain and Portugal recently was merely a sample of the future. If Net Zero happens, then no one will ever access social media or YouTube etc. again. (I’m not allowed on any of these sites because I shared too many truths, but I guess some global warming cultish teenagers might be miffed and start to feel fondly about fossil fuels.)...<<<Read More>>>...

Miliband Accused of Pitting “Neighbours Against Neighbours” After Scrapping Heat Pump Rule

Homeowners switching to a heat pump will no longer have to acquire planning permission to install the technology at least one metre away from a neighbouring property, under relaxed measures announced on Thursday.

Critics said the decision to scrap the requirement, originally introduced to mitigate noise pollution, was simply “another quick fix” to inflate heat pump uptake figures amid weak demand for the green technology.

Andrew Montford, of Net Zero Watch, said: “Heat pumps are clearly a mistake. They are expensive to install and expensive to run, and now it seems they are going to set neighbour against neighbour too. It’s hard to identify any redeeming features at all.”

In 2023, the previous government announced that the “arbitrary” one-metre rule would be scrapped after developers complained it was too challenging to implement.

Mr Miliband, the Energy Secretary, is spearheading the mass adoption of heat pumps and has a target of fitting 600,000 a year in Britain by 2028. In the past 12 months, only 65,600 have been installed, according to MCS, the certification body. …

Local authorities are said to be bracing for a rise in noise complaints as Labour pushes ahead with the heat pump rollout.

To encourage demand, ministers are doubling next year’s funding for a heat pump subsidies scheme that allows families to claim up to £7,500 towards the cost of a new unit....<<<Read More>>>...

Food for Thought #664

Australia: They use mass immigration to create a housing crisis, which they use to push more people into renting – “You will own nothing”

In the following essay, Alison Bevege details how the housing crisis in Australia has been deliberately created using mass immigration.

As housing becomes unaffordable for native Australians, large corporations swoop in to “save the day” by constructing build-to-rent tower blocks. In the vein of WEF’s “you will own nothing,” build-to-rent homes create permanent renters. “They want private property ownership phased out in favour of build-to-rent,” Bevege writes.

When the housing crisis seems to be waning, the cycle begins again. The corporations which are building properties for rent lobby the government to increase migration, creating a housing crisis, which the lobbyists then use to remove more private ownership of property by building properties to rent. Using immigration, they have found a way to create a permanent crisis for which their solution, so they will tell you, is required.

The Australian government has announced that it wants to import 13.5 million migrants by 2065, averaging 235,000 additional migrants each year. That’s enough immigrants per year to keep the housing crisis scam going for the next 40 years.

This scam is not only affecting Australians; it is a global affair. The same scam is operating in the UK and the US, and some of the corporations involved are Canadian....<<<Read More>>>...

Starmer’s EU Reset Tethers the UK to the EU’s Green Dystopia

When Prime Minister Keir Starmer and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, announced the UK-EU ‘reset’ deal on Monday, the Prime Minister said that “Britain is back on the world stage”. As Ben Habib opined in an interview, the “massive smile” of von der Leyen at the conclusion of the UK-EU summit could only mean that the UK was “taken to the cleaners”.

Speaking of the furious backlash across swathes of British communities of farmers, fishermen and the majority who voted for Brexit in 2016, former Prime Minister Boris Johnson observed in a brutal retort that “Britain will once again be paying countless millions of pounds into EU coffers for the privilege of becoming the non-voting punk of the European community”....<<<Read More>>>...

Starmer Has No Intention of Cutting Immigration

There was a lot to like in Sir Keir’s speech on immigration last week. He vowed to “take back control” and end the “one nation experiment in open borders”. Even his signature delivery – redolent of an AI-generated hologram with a nasty cold – couldn’t detract from the rare veracity of his message. Forces are pulling our country apart, he said, and we do “need to reduce immigration, significantly”, or “risk becoming an island of strangers”. These are self-evident truths, as was his demand that immigrants integrate and learn English.

But his proposals failed to match the ambition of his rhetoric. Indeed, when one considers the detail of the white paper he unveiled, one inevitably concludes that the forces pulling our country apart, making us into “an island of strangers”, will continue largely unabated. Okay, there were some welcome measures – stricter English language requirements, extending the time it takes for migrants to acquire settled status from five years to 10, linking access to visas to investment in homegrown skills, and ending the recruitment of care workers from abroad – but these amount to small beer compared to the gargantuan scale of the problem.

Net migration into the UK was over 900,000 in 2023 and 700,000 in 2024 (the highest numbers on record), but by her own admission, when interviewed by Laura Kuenssberg, Yvette Cooper, the Home Secretary, conceded that, after implementation – which won’t happen for at least 18 months – the measures will only reduce net migration by a piffling 50,000 people. Fifty thousand! After all that lofty jawing? And right on cue, as if to underline the emptiness of Sir Keir’s bombast, we discovered that another 600 illegal migrants landed in Dover during his speech, taking the number to 12,000 since January, a 40% increase on the same period last year.

The inadequacy of these proposals should come as no surprise. Bloviating speeches can only do so much to pull the wool over the eyes of a sceptical ‘once-bitten-twice-shy’ public that, according to recent polls, views immigration as an even more important issue than the cost-of-living crisis – that’s why so many voted for Reform in the local elections. 85% of Brits want to see net migration slashed to below 100,000 a year. They won’t be fooled by the insincere utterings of an insincere fraud like Sir Keir Starmer.

This is a man who has voted against every immigration reform bill since 2015. He’s never come across a foreign criminal he hasn’t wanted to rescue from deportation. Once more, during his party’s leadership election campaign, he pledged to make the case for freedom of movement, despite the fact that it’s opposed by the vast majority of Brits. The man’s an incorrigible open-borders fanatic, always has been. He once argued that all border controls are racist. But he now wants us to believe he’s changed his mind. Actually, more to the point, he wants us to buy the myth that he’s always advocated strong borders. It’s a Labour value, apparently – or is that laughably? Pull the other one, Sir Keir. You’re an irredeemable globalist and your words ring hollow, as proved by your actions, both past and present....<<<Read More>>>...

Sauron The Technocrat: One Digital Wallet To Rule Them All

The elite are already running large-scale pilot schemes for the future they want and we don’t. They are not being subtle about this. They are not hiding it.

The plan is a single government-issued app that holds your medical records, employment records, travel records, education records, vaccination records, tax records, financial records as well as (potentially) copies of your signature, fingerprints, facial scans, voice samples and DNA.

All stored handily on your phone…and shared with the governments of nineteen countries (plus Ukraine) and over 140 other public and private partners. Everyone from Deutsche Bank to the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Progress to Samsung Europe.

You will use this app to make payments, apply for loans, pay your taxes, pick up your prescriptions, cross international borders, start businesses, book doctor’s appointments, apply for jobs and even sign digital contracts online.

Businesses and government agencies would access this data from the back-end to conduct “automated background checks”.

The German Federation of Consumer Organizations (Verbraucherzentrale Bundesverband, VZBZ) has raised concerns that such an app would “pose privacy and data risks”, to which the only response is “duh, that’s what it’s for!”.

None of this a hypothetical, by the way. It’s Potential.

Just one of the pilot schemes “building prototypes and testing use-cases” for the European Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallet, there are three others at least.

This is the latest development in a roll-out dating back to the birth of Covid and beyond, with the EUID wallet being touted since 2021....<<<Read More>>>....

The UK government is normalising tyranny

Sir Chris Whitty has admitted at the UK Covid Inquiry that the decision to make Covid vaccines mandatory was “100% political.” His admission contradicts the government’s previous claim of “following the science.”

This political decision resulted in no informed consent, care home workers being fired for refusing vaccination and proposals for “vaccine passports” being considered.

That the revelations through the Inquiry are slow is by design, Jamie Jessop says, because the slow pace of the Covid Inquiry allows the state to shift the Overton Window and normalise tyranny, making it seem acceptable to violate human rights and the Nuremberg Code for the “greater good.”

Covid is not the only tool the Government is using to normalise tyranny. The government is expanding its efforts to use the judicial system to target its political and ideological opponents using counter-terrorism legislation.

The UK Home Office, led by Yvette Cooper, is seeking to redefine terrorism to be “more diverse.” What began with the arrest of Tommy Robinson and hundreds of “far-right” protestors and social media users, they want to expand to include extreme right-wing, Islamist extremism, extreme misogyny, left-wing, anarchist and single-issue extremism, as well as school massacre and online gore subcultures and conspiracy theories.

And then there are biosecurity measures which are being currently tested under the claim of a bird flu outbreak....<<<Read More>>>...

Gen Z ‘ready to embrace dictatorship in Britain after losing trust in democracy’. This survey reflects the mind manipulation playing out to secure the Global Cult goal of replacing elected politicians with (self) appointed technocrats and the end of a people vote.

Look at Starmer and his brainless mob in the UK, Lammy, Miliband, Reeves, Rayner, and so on. Look at weak Sunak and buffoon Johnson before them. They are all intentionally inept to destroy confidence in the way that this survey confirms among the young. The conspiracy is a mind-game founded on the manipulation of perception.

The Trump Jonestown Kool-Aid has been quaffed by so many through perception direction and fits the ‘strong leader’ dictator stereotype even though, ironically, he’s as controlled as anyone. It’s all theatre, but with a clear intent that this survey reflects.

By the way, it is more irony that confidence is being lost in ‘democracy’ when we don’t have that. Starmer’s government secured only 34% of the vote and Trump’s government (like all in the US) is awash with people who have been appointed, not elected.

Generation Z is prepared to embrace a dictatorship in Britain, according to a new survey.

Whether Brexit, austerity under the Tories or the climate catastrophe is at fault, one thing is clear – the young are losing faith in a democratic system.

Research by Channel 4 reveals the generation is accepting radicalism and authoritarianism amid ‘growing uncertainty’ on who to trust....<<<Read More>>>...

Davos 2025: Milei slams Starmer’s woke policy of jailing citizens for exposing Muslim rape gangs and Trump declares “America is back”

Argentina’s President Javier Milei addressed the World Economic Forum in 2024 and 2025, criticising global elites and their policies, and warning that the Western world is in danger due to abandoning freedom for collectivist ideologies.

This year, he made a pointed dig at the UK’s socialist government, led by Keir Starmer, for imprisoning citizens for exposing Muslim gangs that have groomed and raped white children.

US President Donald Trump also addressed the Davos crowd in 2025, stating that America is back and open for business and highlighting his administration’s actions to fix economic chaos and promote freedom and sovereignty.

In 2023, Starmer said he chose Davos over the United Kingdom. Considering the socialist policies Starmer has been implementing at breakneck speed since July 2024, he is becoming increasingly isolated from countries in the “free world.”...<<<Read More>>>...

WEF’s Global Risks Report 2025: Prioritizing “disinformation” over economic stability raises sovereignty concerns

The release of the WEF's Global Risks Report 2025 has sparked debate over the organization’s priorities. The report, based on insights from 900 “global leaders” across business, government, academia and civil society, identifies “armed conflict, environment and disinformation” as the top global threats.

However, critics argue that the WEF’s focus on “mis/disinformation” as a leading risk reflects a broader agenda to justify increased global governance and tighter control over online speech, potentially at the expense of national sovereignty and individual liberties.

The report ranks “mis/disinformation” as a higher threat than economic instability for the second consecutive year, framing it as a “persistent threat to societal cohesion and governance by eroding trust” and “exacerbating divisions within and between nations.” This emphasis on disinformation, critics say, aligns with the WEF’s push for globalized solutions to what it describes as a crisis of trust.

“The WEF’s focus on disinformation feels like a pretext to justify more centralized control over information flows,” said one policy analyst, who requested anonymity. “By elevating disinformation to a top-tier threat, they’re laying the groundwork for policies that could restrict free speech and expand surveillance under the guise of protecting societal cohesion.”

While the WEF report highlights disinformation as a pressing concern, it downplays economic risks, which have fallen out of the top 10 global threats for both the two-year and 10-year outlooks. Inflation, once a top concern, now ranks 29th, while economic downturn sits at 19th. This shift in focus comes despite ongoing global economic instability, including rising debt levels, trade tensions and the lingering effects of inflation in many countries.

Instead, the report emphasizes long-term environmental risks, such as extreme weather events, biodiversity loss and ecosystem collapse, as dominant threats over the next decade. These risks, the WEF argues, require “cross-border collaboration at scale” to address. Critics, however, see this as a call for increased globalization, even as many nations grapple with the consequences of globalized policies and seek to prioritize domestic interests.

“The WEF’s insistence on doubling down on globalization ignores the growing sentiment among nations to ‘turn inward’ and focus on self-reliance,” said a conservative commentator. “Their solutions often seem to favor centralized, top-down governance rather than empowering individual nations to address their unique challenges.”...<<<Read More>>>...

GLOBAL FREEZING and the “carbon footprint” SCAM of the century, featuring famous actor Billy Bob Thornton blowing the whistle on it all

The beaches around the world are not shrinking, like Al Gore swore they would more than 20 years ago. The earth is not getting hotter by the year, like the falsified NASA charts displayed to gaslight climate alarmism, as those graphs only highlighted a few hot trends here and there over the past century, ignoring that we’re actually in a very slow global cooling phase.

Yes, the polar bears are doing just fine, don’t go worrying your propagandized head about those either. Sure, it’s important to be conscious of how much you yourself are polluting the environment, but we need gasoline and diesel fuel to keep the human race functioning. That’s why it’s so nice to finally hear a famous actor blow the whistle on the climate change, “green energy” hoax....<<<Read More>>>...

Labour panic on Net Zero: Business Secretary says government has ‘heard’ backlash at EVs targets after Luton plant is SHUT – with fears of more job cuts to come

Labour’s Net Zero plans have been thrown into confusion as ministers voice ‘profound concerns’ about the impact of EV targets.

Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds signalled an overhaul after Vauxhall announced plans to close its van-making factory in Luton.

Stellantis, which also owns Citroen, Peugeot and Fiat, said it would combine production at its other plant in Ellesmere Port.

Under the zero-emission vehicles (Zev) mandate, at least 22 per cent of new cars sold by each manufacturer in the UK this year must be zero-emission, with the threshold rising each year.

Under the current rules, the mandate will reach 80 per cent by 2030.

At present, car and van-makers will be slapped with fines of £15,000 per vehicle sold above the targets.

The Government has committed to bring the ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars and vans forward from 2035 to 2030, reversing a change introduced by Rishi Sunak’s government last year.

In his speech to the SMMT, Mr Reynolds said the Government was ‘absolutely committed’ to the 2030 target, but had ‘heard you loud and clear on the need for support to make this transition a success’.

Announcing a ‘fast-track’ consultation on changes to the Zev mandate, he said he was ‘profoundly concerned’ about how the policy was operating.

He said: ‘I’m going to be frank with you – I don’t believe the policies that we have inherited, and I mean specifically in relation to zero-emission vehicles, are operating today in a way anyone intended them to.’...<<<Read More>>>...
