Facebook drops fact-checkers, embraces free speech in major policy shift

 In a bold move that signals a seismic shift in the battle over free speech online, Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, announced it will no longer rely on third-party fact-checkers to police content on its platforms. Instead, the tech giant will adopt a new system called “Community Notes,” modeled after Elon Musk’s X, which empowers users to provide context and flag potentially misleading content. The decision, announced by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Tuesday, comes amid mounting criticism of Big Tech’s censorship practices and growing legal pressure from lawsuits alleging government-backed suppression of dissenting voices.

The timing of Meta’s announcement is no coincidence. Just weeks ago, Ty and Charlene Bollinger, founders of The Truth About Cancer and The Truth About Vaccines, filed a lawsuit against what they call the “Censorship Industrial Complex.” Their complaint alleges that Meta, along with federal agencies and NGOs, conspired to silence critics of COVID-19 policies, vaccines, and natural health alternatives. Similarly, Mike Adams, founder of Natural News and Brighteon, filed a lawsuit in May 2024 accusing the U.S. government of “censorship laundering” by funding overseas organizations to suppress free speech.

Zuckerberg’s decision to scrap fact-checkers marks a significant departure from Meta’s previous approach, which critics argue was rife with bias and overreach. “It’s time to get back to our roots around free expression on Facebook and Instagram,” Zuckerberg said in a video statement. Mainstream science is FAKE science: Hundreds of peer-reviewed studies to be RETRACTED because they were “manipulated”

 Another couple hundred peer-reviewed papers are slated for removal from the journals in which they were published after it was revealed that they are all “manipulated.”

The latest in a growing list of fake science studies that were published in supposedly reputable journals and later retracted due to fraud, the dump comes from Hindawi, a scientific journal publisher that covers more than 230 peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Hindawi says that after months of investigative review, it has decided to retract 511 papers across 16 of its journals, according to Retraction Watch, a watchdog group that keeps a close eye on such matters.

“The retractions, which the publisher and its parent company, Wiley, will announce tomorrow in a blog post, will be issued in the next month, and more may come as its investigation continues,” Retraction Watch says. “They are not yet making the list available.”....<<<Read More>>>...

MSM Admits Fact Checkers Were Wrong — Truth Will Never Be Found Through Censorship

[Waking Times]: Over the last twelve months, social media’s expurgation of any and all information pertaining to Covid-19, not part-and-parcel to the mainstream status quo, has become ineffaceable.

Everywhere we look now, we see embedded links to the Covid-19 Information Center on any post that dares even utter the words “vaccine” or “covid”. More pervasive still, are the notices of “this content is no longer available”, having been unceremoniously expunged for allegedly violating the ministry of truth’s “community guidelines”. Being so brazen as to even brand one hundred percent authentic facts as “misinformation”.

Facebook is now permeated with warnings pinned upon post after post indicating “this information has been disputed by independent fact-checkers”.

Ahh yes, the same “independent fact-checkers” that only recently had their financial biases uncovered. Confirming the very conflicts of interest many of us had suspected in the first place, along with their counterparts in the mainstream media.

Ironically, just as a recent report has demonstrated how censorship backfires — Indicating excessive “fact-checking” actually contributed to the spread of misinformation.

The Unseen Damages Fact Checking Has On Public Discourse

We are now being led by the hand into accepting the escaped bioweapon origin of a virus that doesn't exist. It suits the Luciferian agenda that we believe it was man made. Its trauma based mind control in action. The truth of the matter is COVID-19 IS A HOAX.

[Collective Evolution]: By now the discussion around the potential lab leak origins of COVID-19 is where it should be – in a space where we can admit we don’t know exactly what the truth is, but that there is in fact evidence of lab origins that should be investigated. This evidence was widely available to public health officials and the public as far back as February of 2020 when the pandemic began hitting Western countries and the origins battle began. The way it works is, we painstakingly work on a piece, fact check it, edit it, and then publish. We then start disseminating our content to our networks via email and social media. If we’ve made a mistake, we usually catch it within hours as inevitably someone brings it to our attention. While this is not common, it happens, and it is a normal part of running a news/media publication. We then issue a correction and make it clear in the article. But when a fact checker gets involved it’s a bit different. We receive the dreaded email in our inbox claiming that an independent fact checker has rated our content posted on Facebook as false. Another Epidemiologist Calls Out Facebook “Fact-Checkers” & Calls It A “Scam”

[Collective Evolution]: Like 9/11, covid has served as a catalyst for a large shift in human consciousness. It’s served as a trigger for people to change the way we look at our world, perceive our world, and ask important questions like why do we live the way we do? Do government agencies really have the best interests of the people at heart when making decisions and/or recommendations, or are they serving other interests that seek to benefit off of human beings? 

Many questions, thoughts and ideas that were once deemed a “conspiracy theory” are now starting to be taken seriously, asking these questions is no longer taboo but rather a necessity, and it’s all happening because again, human consciousness is shifting.

During this pandemic, we’ve seen an unprecedented amount of experts in the field provide information, evidence and opinions that completely contradict what we are and have been receiving from government health agencies as well as mainstream media. The only issue is that these concerns have been heavily censored by social media companies as well as Google. 

For the average mainstream media news watcher, they are impossible to find unless you’re really passionate about digging for information. When information that “goes against the grain” does seem to get traction, it’s then subjected to a massive ridicule campaign by mainstream media and big tech “fact-checkers.”
